Varada's pov

I was in basement....in dark basement..

"Koi hai?" I said in broken voice only sound of insects was audible.

Tears started makin their way out of my eyes. My stepmom locked me in this basement...she thinks I lost the necklace given by my mother-in-law but the reality is that bhuvan took the necklace away from me! How can I tell her this truth..it's impossible she doesn't even listens to me..

~Meanwhile~

"Bhuvan?!..bhuvan..kaha hai tu?" Aman shouted bhuvan's name while climbing the staircase.

Bhuvan came out of his room looking all tired and exhausted.

"Kya hai?" He asked

"Baba bula rahe hai" Aman said

"Aya 5 min mai" Bhuvan said and again went in his room.

After 5 mins bhuvan went to aai Baba's room. He knocked and opened the door. To see aai and Baba talking with each other.

"Aai tune bulaya?" He asked

"Aaja baith! Mai ayi 2 min mai function ki taiyaari dekh ke" Aai said and went

"Ha aaja baith ja" baba said.

Baba looked at him and signed him to come near him. Bhuvan got near baba sitting down near his knees placing his head on Baba's lap. Baba giggled a little confusing bhuvan. Bhuvan looked up into his darken yet calm eyes.

"Tujhe pata hai jab meri shaadi tere aai se tey hui thi tab mai bhi mere baba ke godi mai sir rakha tha...!" Baba said with his cracky voice and bhuvan sighed and kept his head again back on his lap

"Tu ready hai? Kal Teri sagai hai?? Ladki vale subha jaldi aajayenge!"

"Tch! Baba! Aap please shaadi chodke kuch aur topic nikalo na!"

"Maine bhi mere baba se yahi kaha tha" he said twisting bhuvan's ear and bhuvan whined in pain

"Ouch! Baba" he said but baba didn't said anything and started caressing his hair.

"Dekh mujhe pata hai tujhe vo ladki pasand nahi hai, mujhe bhi teri aai mai koi intrest nai tha..par samay ek bohot badi cheez hoti hai! Maine aur teri aai ne samay liya or samay ke saath pata chala ki hum dono ek dusre ke liye hi Bane hai the aur abb dekh tere aur Aman jaisi do nikkami aulade hai humari!"

"Baba! Hum nikkame nai hai!"

"Nalayak hai!" Aman said entering the room

"Aaja nalayak no.2! Kitni der?" Baba asked Aman

"Are baba vo---" Aman was saying but bhuvan cutted him

"Vo apni vali se milne gaya tha!" Bhuvan said teasing

"Accha...jara naam toh batana uska!?" Baba played along

"Baba aap kaha iss nikkame ki baat sun rahe ho!" Aman snapped but bhuvan again cutted him in between

"Ah ah ah!! Topic mat change kar Aman! Vese baba uska naam toh aapne pehele bhi suna hoga--"

"Bhuvan!!" Aman shouted.

"Mani! Iski bachpan ki dost... actually bachpan ka pyaar!" Bhuvan explained

(A/n- Mani means full moon night in Greek)

"Baba aisa kuch nai hai..mani bas meri bohot acchi dost hai!" Aman made a innocent face.

"Mani.....umm vo bade aankho vali ladki?" Baba asked

"Ha ha vahi...vo bachpan mai Ghar aaya karti thi!" Bhuvan was now in form..bc aaj toh Aman ki leke hi rahunga

"Par vo toh lagta hai London shift hogyi thina?" Baba seriously asked.

"Haa par vo vapis aagyi hai..aur vo kal bhuvan ki sagai ko bhi aa rahi hai!" Finally Aman lost.

"Use keh dena ki sidha bag leke hi aaye...kyuki ek baar vo aagyi toh Teri aai use jane nai degi!" Baba said to Aman..actually he ordered.

They all laughed together and little did they know aai bhi darvaaze ke bahar khadi unhe dekh ke has rahi thi...✨

~Meanwhile~
~Next morning~

Again Varada's pov

The door of the basement opened with a thud. The sudden spark of light made me blind for a minute. And the ofc my so called mom entered..

"Wear this...and get ready..Quick!!" She shouted throwing the saree near my feet.

I flinched a little, and tried to get up and made my way to my room. I rested my body on the bathroom's door and huffed in pain. I did my morning routine and applied some ointment on my wounds. She hitted me brutally like a animal last night. I looked at the saree, it was so beautiful......
Manna padega mummy itni buri hai..lekin uski choice acchi hai.
Again I applied the lotion and did a little bit of makeup. I came down as I saw her sitting on the table and aadi was washing the dishes

"Makeup ke bina toh tumhara kaam chalta nai!" Saying this she got up and left.

It hurted but whatever! I went in the kitchen and saw aadi was washing the dishes, I called him but he didn't look up. So I went near him

"Aadi, tu ro raha hai?" I asked

Aadi-

"Awww!! Mera Bhai ro raha hai!!" I wanted to laugh so hard but didn't. He's so cute yaar😂

I made him look at me. And he hugged me tightly.

"Yaar..tu kyu jaa rahi hai? Mat jana!!" He said

"Are bhai aaj toh sirf sagaai hai shaadi karke thodi jaa rahi hu, kyu?...pagal rota kyu hai..mai toh tujhe pura pareshaan karke jaungi!" I said and we both laughed.

She shouted from the car to come out quickly as we were getting late, we wiped our tears and went out and sat in the car.

~Abb nayi entry..matlab meanwhile 😅~

Mani was standing at her hotel parking waiting for Aman. He said that he will pick her up next morning means today directly. She was frustrated cause as usual Aman was late and she hates his this habit..
She got out of her dreamland when she heard the horn of the car bohot jorse!!

"Kya yaar Aman! Itni der kon lagata hai!!" Mani scolded him while getting in the car and he looked at her with innocent

"Abb na yeh innocent chehre mat bana aur jaldi chal!" She said looking at the view mirror as she was setting her hair.

"Kya karu yaar! Shaadi ka ghar hai, aur usme bada bhai hone ke naate kaam toh karne padte haina!" He said with swag

"Huh! Aya bada!" Mani said showing him her tongue.

"Bada hi hu Ghar ka! Aur yaar aai bhi kar karke kitna hi kar legi akeli!"

"Are tu uski chinta mat kar! Abb mai aagyi huna toh aunty ki sab help kar dungi! Sirf tu bhuvan ko acchese ready karke laiyo!" She said with an authority.

And they reached home. The door bell rang

*Ting tong*....*ting tong ting tong ting tong*

"Kon hai?! (x100)" one of the maid said

Kon hai kon hai kartey hue the maid opened the door, and there stood mani and Aman. And Aman was holding her bags👌🏻😂. Padma aunty turned around..

Aman and mani came in. Mani touched aunty's feet and hugged her.

"Sukhi raha!" Padma aunty gave her blessings (sukhi raha= khush raho)

"Kaisi hai...bade dino baad mile hum!" Padma aunty said caressing her head

"Mai bohot acchi hu aunty..aap kaise ho?" She said

"Are mujhe kya hoga..mai toh ekdum mast...abb tu aayi haina toh reh le jara 5-6 din..mast khana khilaungi tujhe!" Padma aunty said

"Are aunty rehene ka toh man hai lekin job ko bhi dekhna padega na! Agli baar jyada din aaungi aur..mai pure hak se aapko puranpoli banane kahungi!" Mani said and was going to say further but saw baba coming down.

"Reh leti beta 2 mahine...vaise bhi bhuvan ki shaadi hai.." baba said coming towards them.

"Thike uncle-aunty aap bol rahe ho toh ruk jaati hu...🤭" She said yes cause she can't refuse them..

After she said yes they called their maid and told her to show mani's room. She went upstairs to get ready.

*Knock knock*

"Come in" bhuvan said

"Kamineeee!!! Bataya nai shaadi karne vala hai..tujhe thodi bhi jarurat nai lagi apni mani di ko batane ki!?" She said shaking him virgously

"Kamse kam missed call maar deta..mai call back kar deti!" She said making a sad face

"Alelele...look who's here!" Bhuvan said pulling her cheeks and hugged her

"Chod mujhe chutiye!" She said and he separated

"Yeh kya horaha hai yaha pe? Gaali kyu de Rahi hai usko?" Aman entered

"Parampara" mani said

"Pratishtha" bhuvan said

"Anushasan" Again mani said and the both laughed

"Haha..haslo jitna hasne hai. Tumlogo ko toh sirf saath aane ki deri hai!" They both laughed more after this statement and Aman left from there as he knew that they won't stop teasing him.

"Toh abb tu 2-3 mahine yahi ruk rahi na?" Bhuvan asked mani

"O bhai! Shaadi Tak thik tha abb kya honeymoon pe bhi leke jaoge?" She said and giggled

"Are hum kyu tujhe leke jayenge? Tu apne Wale ke saath Jana......Aman is good looking" he said pointing towards Aman as he entered again and they both started looking at him

"Kya? Meri taraf kya dekh rahe ho??"

"Abe chutiye shaant baith! Vo pehele tere 2 lagayega aur fir mere 3 lagayenga" mani whispered in bhuvan's ear

"Chalo abb jaldi aai bula rahi hai!!" Aman shouted while going out

They both came downstairs. Aai ne bhuvan ki aarti utaari aur uske kaan ke piche kaal tika lagaya🧿. That's when the door bell rang, and aai opened the door.

"Are aaplog aagye..mani aarti ki thali Lana jara.." Aai said and mani did as said

Aai ne firse varada aur aaditya ki aarti utari. Aai asked them to settle down. Arunita came near varada and bhuvan and told them to settle down on the chairs kept on the stage. There were not many people for the function only, some buisness friends of bhuvan, some friends of aai-baba and 2-3 friends of Aman. Aai got on the stage and took the mic.

"Aap sab aaye hume bohot accha laga! Abb hum main function ko start karte hai" aai said with a smile on her face

The function started and the Panditji chanted some mantras and told both of them to slide the rings in each other's finger. For a moment varada hesitated to slide the ring in his finger but as bhuvan looked straight in her eyes, she got a little scared and slided the ring into his fingers...
