October 13 had arrived. Just yesterday, Courtney went on for her final Emergency Jane Seymour, and Shekinah had her final West End show.

Ashley had once again been Cleves, and Vicki had once again been Howard. Another Alt Massive, with the exact Queens as before.

Ashley had been impressed with the quality of the new Primaries, Courtney B and Danielle. Their talent was incredible, and Ashley couldn't wait to see their first show.

The final show was due to start in a few hours, and Ashley and the Alts had a plan.

Ashley had called Grace, who she had seen on &Juliet, and asked her to show up at the final bows. Grace agreed, and she snuck in while the Primaries were getting ready.

Ashley, in her Seymour costume, Vicki in her Boleyn costume, Courtney and Grace, along with Shekinah and Collette, also in costume, were watching the show from the top balcony. Ashley sat next to Grace and squeezed her hand.

"I can't believe you made it," she said softly. Grace smiled and stroked her hair.

"I'd never miss this. I'm here, and we're gonna surprise the Queens. I'm so excited for this!"

The final show of Millie O'Connell, Aimie Atkinson, and Maiya Quansah-Breed had begun. Ashley went and cheered for Millie's final DLUH, and for the first time since she joined SiX, she didn't break down in tears for Aimie's AYWD because of trauma. She cried because it was the last time she'd ever see it.

The show was bittersweet. Natalie could barely finish HOS because she was crying so hard, and Lexi wasn't as funny in Get Down like she usually was.

Ashley felt her heart ache as her favorite song in the show, Six, began. She cheered loudly for everyone, regardless of whether they were leaving or not. She felt a small piece of her heart chip off, like all her pain was leaving as she watched her family together.

Right after Six, the Alts snuck into the wings and waited during the MegaSiX. As the crowds cheered, Ashley hastily wiped off the tears on her face. She would miss the Queens who were finishing their reign. Grace squeezed Ashley's hand.

"Hey, Partner. Don't cry. Remember, once a Queen, always a Queen."

Ashley sniffled and smiled. "Once a Queen, always a Queen."

Right when Maiya was finishing her lines for the final time, all the Alts but Grace ran in and harmonized with the Primaries. The Queens were shocked.

Ashley stood in the middle of all of them, and once they finished, they all posed. Bouquets of flowers were given to Mills, Aimes, and May, and Ashley yelled, "You can come out now!"

All the Alts grinned as Grace ran onto the stage. The leaving Queens all gasped and hugged her tightly, and Lexi, once again, gave a bittersweet speech.

Ashley asked for Natalie's mic and said, "Can I say a few words, please?"

She looked at her family. Her amazing, incredible, complicated family, and smiled.

"Well," she started, "Here we are. And this is so far the first and only time my family will all be lined up like this. I've been through so much with you, and I'm heartbroken that this is the end."

She saw Jaye'J, Lexi, and Vicki, her aunts who were staying, Aimie, Shekinah, and Courtney, her cousins who were leaving, she saw Millie, Maiya, and Grace, her sisters who had been through so much with her. And Collette, who had just started and wasn't going just yet.

Ashley felt her eyes well with tears. "But this isn't the end. Because we'll always be together. In ways that transcend just being coworkers. We're family. Sisters and cousins and aunts, and I love you. All of you. All of you changed me for the better. I could never be where I am without you. I love you, and I know this is not the end. Once a Queen, always a Queen. Forever."

Ashley started crying, but happy tears this time. Her family all gave a massive group hug and they all left the stage together. Ashley gave them all massive hugs.

"Never grow up, Queenie," Millie said, "Be young forever. The Queendom needs your youth, QueenBean."

Ashley smiled as Millie walked with her to stagedoor. Aimie squeezed Ashley's hand.

"Hey, SongBird. Just remember, never stop smiling. Your smile will always be brighter than anything. I'm gonna miss you so much."

Ashley nodded and squeezed Aimie's hand. She found Maiya and ran over to give her a hug.

"Hey, Pumpkin! I'll miss you so much. But don't ever stop believing. Your kindness and honesty helped us. We could never be where we are without you."

Ashley smiled as she and the leaving Queens walked out. Ashley found Courtney and took her hand.

"Hello, Missy! God, I'll miss your fun-loving charm. You stay bright, you hear me? Your light is beautiful, like you."

And they all walked out. All the Queens left the theater together, and Ashley sniffled but smiled.

"We're one of a kind," she whispered softly, and all the other Queens and Alts alike smiled and sang with her.

"No category. Too many years lost in history. We're free to take our crowning glory."

Grace took Ashley's hand and lead her to the door. "For five more minutes..."

Ashley smiled with tears in her eyes. Because she knew. She knew that always and forever..

"We're SiX."
