Percy P.O.V.
The rest of the summer went by peacefully and soon enough it was time to get on The Hogwarts Express. I was excited, but not as much as the Wizards. When we got there, I didn't see Platform 9 and 3/4, but Ginny walked right through a freaking brick wall. Then Harry and next Hermione. Us Demigods ran through and found that there was a whole other place inside that tiny brick wall. The Wizards all seemed to know where they were going and so we just followed them. Harry Potter and his friends got in one compartment and Annabeth and I got in with them. Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank, and Leo went to find somewhere else. Ginny gave her mom a hug and Mrs. Weasley have each of the Wizards a hug. She told Harry to not go looking for trouble, and he said that trouble usually finds him. Gods, I hoped he was wrong. We all sat down and Annie laid her head down on my shoulder. She glared at Ginny and Ginny glared right back. After the Cup I think they forgave each other a little, but I just thought, and I would never tell her this, that Annabeth should've made Ginny her friend, not her enemy. The ride was semi-peaceful. We only got up to get changed into our robes. We were about an hour away when a small boy with platinum blond hair strutted in.
"So, Potter, I heard about the Dark Mark at the Cup." The kid didn't get to finish.
"Dammit, Malfoy, can we even get a break from you? And if I'm mistaken its your parents who are Death Eaters!" Hermione retorted.
When Malfoy refused to get out I stood up at the same time Ginny and Harry did. I stepped in front of them saying,
"My names Percy. In an American exchange student. Please leave I don't want any more of your crap."
Malfoy left and when I sat down Annabeth gave me an approving pat on the arm and kissed my cheek. I smiled and turned for another kiss, but she had already struck up a conversation with Hermione about the curriculum. I talked about the Quidditch team with Harry and Ginny and from what I understood, they need a new keeper.
"We obviously have to have tryouts for all the positions, but unless one of the positions is completely open, then the team usually stays the same." Harry explained. One of the chasers, Angelina Johnson, is the new captain. Ginny is a chaser, and a pretty good one from what Percy could see from their brief flying lesson, and they needed one more chaser. Harry is the seeker, and Fred and George are beaters. Wood was a keeper, but he graduated. Finally we got there and we got into a carriage with Harry and his friends. Harry, Hermione, and Ginny broke off from the group to head over to the Gryffindor table. At least one of us has to get into Gryffindor. The first years got sorted first, and then it was our turn. I saw people whispering and I just ignored them. The food looked sooo good!! I hoped they had blue food! Piper got up first. The hat thought for a moment and then screamed out
"RAVENCLAW!!"
Jason was up next. The hat barley touched his head before yelling,
"HUFFLEPUFF!!"
Leo was next. The hat thought for a very long time before screaming,
"GRYFFINDOR!!"
Annabeth was up next. I wasn't worried. I knew Leo was with Harry. Oh gods.
"RAVENCLAW!!" Annabeth went to sit with Piper. Great, I had to be separated from my girlfriend. I walked up and sat on the stool.
"Hello Percy Jackson." Something whispered in my ear. I jumped a little.
"Here to protect Mr. Potter I see? Well good luck with that Percy Jackson. Better be...
GRYFFINDOR!!"
I walked over to the Gryffindor table and sat down next to Leo. Frank was sorted into Hufflepuff and Hazel was sorted into Gryffindor with Leo and I. An old guy gave a speech and I almost fell asleep. Ginny leaned across the table.
"Unless you guys want a very long, very boring tour of the Castle, then follow my lead." She whispered.
All three of us nodded and stared at our food.
"Leo? Can you..uh...ya know?" I whispered to Leo.
He lit his fingers on fire and all three of us put a little piece of food in his hand and they disappeared. The flame left and we all dug in. The food wasn't blue, but it was hands down the best food I've ever eaten in my entire life. It was that good. Hermione and Ginny and Hazel looked at me with disgust.
"You eat faster than Ron eats." Ginny said. Ron was he older brother and I know that all her brothers eat pretty fast. Once dinner was over, Ron, and a girl I didn't recognize, called all the first years and Leo, Hazel, and I. Ginny muttered a spell on each of us and got up. We followed her and so did Harry and Hermione. We walked past Ron and Ron grabbed Ginny's arm.
"Have you seen the three exchange students?" He asked her.
"No, Percy was going to throw up and Hazel and Leo left about ten minuets ago to check on him. We were just walking up to see if they are ok. Now, let go of me, or I will hex you until you can't feel your legs." Ginny said. Good cover, I thought. Ginny yanked her arm from her brothers grasp, and marched confidently forward. We got to the common room and Ginny showed us the basics.
"Leo, Percy, follow Harry up the boy dorms and Hazel follow Hermione and I." Ginny told us. She led Hazel away and Leo and myself followed Harry up to the dorms.
"Percy, Leo, these are the other boys. Neville-" Harry pointed to a shy looking boy,
"Seamus-" Harry pointed to an Irish dude.
"And Dean." Harry pointed to an African American boy in bed.
I got changed and flopped down on the bed. It was sooooo comfortable!! This quest can take all year if I care.
