Chapter 30: A Normal Day

Tuesday, Jun 7th

Mikah slowly separated his eyelids as a sound from the environment muffled itself into his dazed lucidness. As he drifted his eyes around in a daze, the male discovered he had unintentionally slumbered on the couch after a night of restlessness and forcefully distracting himself with anything that could lock his mind away from the previous day's events.

Upon standing up to straighten his arched back which had been part of the consequence of losing consciousness in a sitting position, he speculated through the room. Once he heard the slight tapping of steps beyond the door, he began chafing his tired eyes while approaching the disturbance. Concluding the time to be in the very pique hours of the morning he began suspecting a robbery of some sort.

However, he stepped into the main corridor to face the dark silhouette of his sibling stumbling around to put her shoes on. The boy furrowed his brow in confusion at the arbitrary actions, giving his eyes a final rub to completely awaken himself before approaching the unsuspecting girl. "What are you doing?" Once his question passed onto her, she paused her actions to glance at him with an unreadable expression, failing to betray her intents behind her fatigued eyes.

She stared at him for a few silent moments, seeming to try and register his mere presence, only to turn her attention back around to finish off putting her shoes. "I'm going to work." Her tone portrayed sternness and an apathy to any opposing opinions for her actions. Mikah took a moment to process her reasoning before approaching the preparing girl.

"What?" As he stopped himself right behind her he waited for the female's compliance to turn around and elaborate on her decision. To his disappointment, his siblings made no intention on turning towards him and establish her intents. "Hey, what do you mean by that?" He took the girl's arm in a secure and coaxing hold before (Y/n) glanced back at him with a bemused gaze, almost under a daze herself as she took time to read the situation.

She eventually shook off his loosened grip before stopping herself from any action to simply remain stilted on the spot. The female continued staring at the ground for a small bundle of seconds before eventually lifting her sights back up to weakly respond. "Work...I need to work." She lulled out before darting her gaze around until she felt satisfied with the useless response and intending on making her way out of the house.

Mikah quickly latched on to her shoulder before sternly turning her distracted focus on him. "What? Where? What are you talking about?" His senses heightened back into awakening, as though his blood was fuelled with adrenaline, confusion, and frustration.

(Y/n) didn't dare reflect back his eye contact before she nudged away his hand. "I need to work. I'm going back...I'm going back to the place where mom spent her time in." The boy halted his reprobating intents as he stared at the girl's contemplative features. "I need to make this better again. I need to work until she comes out of the hospital." Her stagnant pace of annunciation unintentionally revealed her depleted energy.

"Did you actually sleep?" Her brother calm inquired, silently assessing the stupor in the female's distant gaze. She remained muted as a part of her reply to the speculation.

"I don't have time to sleep." Was her only response, double checking the contents of her bag instead of focusing her sights on her inquiring sibling.

As (Y/n) prepared to hurry her rushed decision by exiting the premises, her brother momentarily hampered her attempts of departure by sternly grasping her shoulder. This forced the girl's tired eyes to glance back at him with a sharp and irascible gaze, warning him to restrain himself before her wavering emotions tip against him. "Why are you doing this?" His question was placid and gently spoken, holding a purpose of making the girl think over her actions.

The younger student's heart seemed to disappear from her chest as her essence was stripped away to reveal underlying wounds beneath her cognition. "Mom worked hard...I can't let it be wasted." Her shaky vocals demonstrated the final reasoning while all her mind could do was trail down the options left for them. The girl bitterly reminded herself of the consequential outcomes which would derive from the absence of a stable provider in the family. While her brother used his time to gather his own senses and find solutions, (Y/n) was not sated with changing what was so familiar and logical to her muffled mind. "She wouldn't want everything she's built from hard work to be compromised."

Mikah narrowed his eyebrows in a half formed scowl before lightly shaking his head at the adamant girl. "She wouldn't want you to go in her place either-"

"Well she's not here to stop me now, is she?" (Y/n) verbally bit back, curtailing his words to a stop before shaking the muted boy's hand away, allowing her to leave the house without facing his unknown reaction.

As the girl stomped away, holding up a temporary wall to secure her emotions from spilling, she stopped herself behind a corner where her barriers blemished and deteriorated, enervating the girl momentarily. The distraught female settled her weak body against the stone complex beside her and let out a shaky exhale, feeling the shame and disgust that came with her outburst. The only essence holding her steady was her avoidance with witnessing her brother's face, knowing his disappointment would emanate onto her and break her down. After a few moments of gathering the last ounces of determination left in her, the young soon-to-be worker took her steps in slow strides.

(Y/n) found her shaky footing as she stepped off the bus. Waiting for her transportation to disappear and allow her some craved solitude, she finally released a gust of air from her burning lungs. Her gaze couldn't be directed anywhere else but at the ground that lay beneath her feet. She began consoling herself on her emotions, debating with the voice in her head whether her decision was reckless or productive. With neither side triumphing in victory, she was left in her own scattered delusions with no other motivation besides the one moving her forward.

As she made the slow journey to a house of memories, she couldn't stop the nausea bubbling in her throat. As though a noxious thread continuously bound itself around her soul, clutching her reasoning and emotions in tight confines. Returning to an environment where each corner and crevice held reminders that she would rather suppress intimidated her. However, in a contrary solemn twist there seemed to be a familiar comfort in the residence where her mother spent a majority of her time. As she would be one step closer to experiencing life with the absent woman again.

The female immediately shook her head as a somber fog of melancholy swept her psyche. 'Get a hold of yourself! It's not about whether I like it or not. I have to do something. Anything.' She scolded herself for her perceived selfish weakness, stuffing her compressed mind with restraints before gazing up towards the morning sky in an attempt of distraction.

In contrast with the warm air surrounding her environment, the dark clouds seemed far from pleasant as their stagnant presence loomed over her as she neared the front gate. Once the house came into her sights, her body began supplying tension into all of her joints. As she neared the building itself, her exterior began protesting with each step until she found herself frozen right next to the large statue that had sat in the heart of the front area since her first day.

(Y/n) took the opportunity to lean against the stone creature and rest her head against her arm. The sight of the compound caused her head to lightly spin as she was devoured by conflicting feelings of nostalgia and disquietness. After she dragged away the uncertainty
within her, she quickly puffed out a small huff before reluctantly turning her head back to face the building. Upon reverting her sights on her work place, she caught a small anomaly in the previously still scene.

Turning her eyes towards one of the windows on the second floor, she made contact with a pair of wide, violet eyes that were intently staring at her with deeper intensity. (Y/n) was slightly disappointed that one of the last people she wanted greeting her was her first welcome back, but couldn't help but feel comforted at a familiar figure that she held indifference towards, almost as though he were a fresh and unbiased start.

The girl broke out of her introverted trance to give him a small wave and acknowledge his presence. Upon doing so Padraig was stirred out of his own hypnotic state as he finally inhaled for the first time since he was made aware of her arrival. The female wasn't sure whether to have expected the reaction or not, and watched as the boy quickly retracted back, seeming to be leaving in a hurry.

(Y/n) sighed at the result, however, felt more refreshed after experiencing his trademark crudeness and found her courage building up as the interaction convinced her nothing would have changed since her last visit. And hoped it would remain the same.

Making her way up the few steps to the front entrance, she filled her lungs to their limit with air before breathing out every unclear thought in her head and pulled on the door to take the first step inside. Once she had settled her nerves, she looked throughout her environment to find the same large space of polished surfaces and ornate decoration that had made her feel foreign during her very first visit.

The girl gently brought her hands together out of reflexive anxiousness, only to realise her fingers had been gently shaking for an unknown amount of time. She quietly whispered to herself comforts before tensing up a small smile on her face. 'Stop being so scared. It's not like her ghost will be floating around the house and haunting me...' However, all her senses seemed to be on full alert while her mind began carving illusions in front of her perception of the woman wondering through the central passage, going door to door, ascending and descending the stairs and walking around on the top level with the intent of finishing her daily tasks. The teenager shook her head away from these thoughts before tightly shutting her eyes.

The ground beneath her feet began to slowly move and rumble in front of her eyes before the floor underneath her felt as though it was spinning, leaving her body in disarray while the world continued to move along. (Y/n)'s forced inhales transitioned into intoxicated pants as her eyes started blurring while they stared down at the muddled ground below. Her head began emptying, as though her mind was escaping her body, leaving her faint and empty. She propped her hands on her knees to steady her unbalanced environment as every breath caused her senses to disperse. Each muscle in her form began taking on a conscience as they trembled without her coaxing or intent. When she tried to stiffen her malfunctioning motor signals, it only caused her to strain herself to a tipping point.

Unable to understand what had caused the reaction, the girl desperately tried to console herself and obtain control from whatever was moving her at those moments. 'What's wrong with me...why is my body doing the opposite of what my brain is telling it...?' She tried to straighten her slouched form up, only to freeze before she had the chance for her eyes to look at the area. She gritted her teeth together in frustration and angst, attempting to hold herself together. 'It's just a normal day with the usual work. Nothing has changed.' Her urges to convince herself became desperate as she tried to ignore the wary reminder of her situation. 'God damn it...' Much like her spilling tears, she sensed her self-control toppling as her body sunk into an abyss of anguish that seemed similar to the first time she was made aware of her mother's state and her sleepless night of contemplation. 'I'm sorry I'll disappoint you.' Feeling her final stability crumbling, the girl prepared to collapse into a ball of overflowing emotions and release her heart.

(Y/n) snapped back up and quickly retreated as she felt the smallest of pressures being placed on her bowed head. She was left staring at the individual that had interrupted her breakdown and took a few moments to completely comprehend the events. Her wide eyes gaped at the boy that had approached her the moment he became aware of her arrival.

Padraig stared back at the surprised visitor and refrained from making any other movement that could stir the girl. The pair continued to exchange unwavering eye contact as they simultaneously waited for the other to make a move. (Y/n)'s heart slowly settled in its beats as she swiftly reminded herself of the tears that still remained in her eyes.

She quickly wiped away the few streaks before rejuvenating her mind after regaining control of herself. "Padraig you scared me." She lightly scoffed, working to lift her mood up for the sake of supporting herself and avoiding any questioning speculations.

The male silently watched her, unable to express the composition of feelings swirling inside him, while all his mind could focus on was a single utterance associated with the girl's image. "I'm so sorry." He stiffly breathed out, his tone covered in genuineness and slight frustration that masked his guilt.

(Y/n) was thankful he hadn't questioned her teary reaction and gave him a small smile to denounce his overly concerned reply. "It's fine, I just wasn't expecting you." Her dismissive style didn't bode well on the boy's shoulders.

Padraig seemed prepared to say something in a concerned manner before momentarily pausing and shaking his head to discourage himself. "Why are you here?" He questioned her in a more neutral tone, folding his hands in official expectancy.

(Y/n) hesitated slightly as the final protests within her took temporary conduct over her and caused her to pause and rethink her decision. Before she could convince herself into falling out on her plans, she allowed her mouth to ramble before her brain could. "I'm here to start work again." She simply responded, catching the boy off guard with her verdict.

"What?!" He briskly reeled back, gaping at her, wide eyed. Padraig was uncertain as to how he could conduct himself as he internally leaped with blissfulness and exultation. Composing his outward appearance back into a more professional manner, he regarded the girl with only a surprised expression to remain as the glimpse to his internal rejoice. "You're coming back?"

The young student meekly nodded, trying to keep her head at eye level. "Yeah, I'll be working here for as long as possible at the moment. So, sorry if I'll be spoiling your day Prince." She half jested at him in a teasing manner, making the boy dither between what to react with.

"No, that's fine..." Fumbling for words, he sensed the female walking past him, immediately turning around so as to not let his eyes lose her. He quickly paced after her before taking her arm in a stern and urgent grip. The female looked at his hampering action with surprise as the boy stumbled with his annunciation. "Today is Tuesday, right?" He quickly inquired, holding an iron hold on her limb with no intention of allowing her an escape without reassuring himself. "That means that you'll be working on my room today. That's correct, isn't it?" He questioned with a thin drop of aggression that fuelled his vocals.

"Supposedly so..." She simply responded with slight uncertainty in her voice, wondering whether the sudden interrogation was purposed to keep her reminded.

Padraig slowly settled himself after breathing out a content exhale, progressively loosened his hold on the female before backing himself away. "Good. Good..." He muttered, standing down to allow the surprised girl to proceed with her tasks once more.

She uncertainly watched him with a wary gaze before shaking off the bemusement and transitioning to the second floor of the household. Once Padraig was left to his lonesome he had to assess himself before leaving the area as well. The overwhelming relief over the girl's return and his higher pride conflicted against each other as he tried to reason with his own emotions. He bitterly grunted out the frustrating brewing in his feelings, trying to nullify his desire to join her and satisfy himself.

(Y/n) quietly walked through the long passage, only the sound of the harsh winds caressing the leafs and branches of the wildlife outside. She scanned her environment for any sign of life or a higher authority in the residence. 'I need to find Nori and inform him that I want to work again, but where is he...? I should have tried his office, that's where he'll most likely be.' She stopped herself from her original plan of wandering through the building and decided to push away her clouded judgment and begin thinking with a clearer mindset.

Stopping in her tracks she spun herself around and began heading in the opposite direction. As she peacefully made her way through the corridor her body had the time to finally relax and familiarise itself with the old surroundings.

Her heart jumped out of her form as she was collided into by a heavy frame. The impact pushed the girl into the nearest wall as she stood frozen and paralysed from the disorientation. Her eyes were as wide as plates, staring into nothingness before they trailed their sights on the figure that had compacted with her and pressed her against the surface of the structure.

She heard an amused and shady chuckle vibrating into her ear and tremoring against her body. "Your heart is beating so fast. Wonder if your body will follow up." A breathless purr brushed past her ear as a hand brushed into her hair, keeping her secure beside himself. (Y/n) flinched back to give the individual a perplexed look at the unexpected greeting.

"Lilito, where did you come from?" She exclaimed with relief, nudging away from the boy to peer at his grinning face. The male backed himself up at arm's length to give the girl a wide, satisfied smile.

"I could ask you the same thing. I thought you wouldn't return after what I heard on Sunday." His simpering features lowered in a bitter display at the reminder of her permanent absence from the previous 2 days. (Y/n) glanced down with a solemn expression, standing in the uncomfortable focus of recollection at her purpose for returning.

"Yeah, my mum isn't in a position to work right now...so I'll be continuing the job here." She lightened the tone in her vocals, trying to bring her mood up and exhibit more optimism.

Lilito immediately sparked up before jumping closer to the girl. "Oh, does that mean that we'll be discussing our little deal perhaps?" He mused, nearing the girl with a speculative smirk.

However, (Y/n) seemed far from aware of what the boy's implications were leading up to. "What deal?" She questioned, flummoxed by the proposal, leading the jocular boy's expression to stiffen into a frozen smile. He stared at the girl in consecutive moments, trying to figure whether her cluelessness was genuine.

Lilito tried to choke out a laugh but made an obvious statement of it being forced. "What do you mean? You can't tell me you forgot about the egg you gave to me." His attempts at leveling his tone became raw and evident as he willed himself to hold a synthetic smile in the hopes that the girl was bluffing.

(Y/n) stared at him for a few seconds before scrunching her features in further bafflement. "What does the egg have to do with anything...?" She questioned back, receiving a dropped expression from the boy as he scowled at her with wide, dark eyes that fixated their aggravation on the female.

"Are you serious...?" He quizzed in insulted mockery, condemning the fact that he clearly bellow her regard to be easily dismissed. His indignation sparked flares of vexation and hostility within him, causing him to wonder who were the people above him in her priority list of individuals.

The girl sensed the staggering tone shift and forced the clogged gears in her head to turn and reassess her recollection. "Hold on..." She ushered him, placing a hand on her forehead in an attempt to try and jog her memory. "It was...it was about a date wasn't it?!" She quickly sounded out in triumph, while Lilito lingered on the damaged that had already been done.

"You seriously forgot...?" The girl was taken aback by the boy's unnaturally fierce but quiet tone.

"I'm really sorry Lilito! I completely forgot there was a deal behind that thing. I take absolute responsibility for how inconsiderate that was." She quickly tried to sedate the situation, putting on a soothing smile that seemed to have no effect on the livid boy.

"Do I really mean so little to you for you to forget about me so easily?" His spiteful words brought an unpleasant chill to circulate through the girl from the boy's uncharacteristically cold demeanor.

"I'm really sorry...I don't know what I can say to make it up to you." The female slowly surrendered, holding an apologetic gaze towards her angered company.

"This makes enough of a statement that says a lot..." He spitefully remarked, holding her in his sharp sights. After a brief moment, the boy sighed, relaxing his entire body as his averted his glare away from the female. "Doesn't matter anyway...I broke it." The boy bitterly declared, condemning himself as the cause.

"Sorry to hear." (Y/n) presented her condolences before turning her body away in preparation to depart. "Well, I have to go find Nori. I need to tell him that I'm coming back." Once the girl had her back turned to the boy, she felt arms weaving around her form, encasing her tightly against a body. "Lilito, what are you-?"

Her words were cut short by a deep chuckle chilling her ear. "You seem to be hiding something, (Y/n). Like you're not telling the complete truth." The male's intuitive observation caused the girl to freeze in his arms as she pondered on his words. "You seem to be putting on a more relaxed and carefree front, but it's obvious how sad you seem." His smooth and soft voice entered her perception like syrup, causing her to tense up and stifle a gasp while the warmth of his form caused every nerve in her body to tingle. "Tell me, is your mother ok?" He mused beside her ear, causing the girl to gulp as he created a synthetic cage with his sultry vocals and unyielding hold.

"My mother is just resting in hospital. Anything else is none of your business." She defensively explained, attempting to maintain a composed exterior while she internally began cracking and crumbling at the reminder.

Lilito was humored by the claim and lightly tittered at her noble attempts. He hummed with pleasure, placing his head at the curve of her neck and shoulder. "You're so adorable when you try to put on a brave face." His adoring vocals cooed, causing her form to become paralysed at the abrasive side the male exhibited. "You know, I can bring your mind and body at ease in a matter of seconds." The female revolved around what the male meant, only to hiss in disbelief as she felt lips gently trailing down the contour of her neck while a hot breath caused her skin to tingle. "Just say the word and I can make you feel so much better." His excited whisper made the dumbfounded female jolt at the offer as she quickly ripped herself away from him.

"What the hell?!" She angrily shouted with an undertone of bafflement over what she had witnessed. Placing a hand against her nape where the sensation of the boy's pecks still crawled into her flesh, the worker scowled at him defensively. "What's gotten into you?! Where did this come from?!" Each aggravated shout was filled with bewilderment and heed as the girl tried to make sense of the male's actions. She had been aware of his habitual mannerisms but never was targeted with such unprompted forwardness.

Lilito, however, watched her with disappointment before giving a nonchalant grin and shrug his shoulders. "Don't be so dramatic, it was just an offer." His jocular dismissal made the girl warily stare at him. (Y/n)'s glare didn't subside but she eventually calmed down her panic to settle on scolding her harasser.

"An offer that will keep receiving the same answer. Keep your propositions to yourself." After her irritated scolding, the male simply rolled his eyes to present his lighthearted acceptance.

(Y/n) observably eyed her company with a wary gaze before slowly turning around, letting him leave her sights once she had been at an appropriate distance. Even from behind Lilito could recognise the stiffness in her shoulders as a sign of alertness.

Once she disappeared from his view, the boy allowed a deep sigh to release from his lungs. A suppressed exhale that shook with desire and frustration at his unsatisfied cravings. As alternate scenarios entered his mind over her response to his promising offer, he had to catch himself before he could get carried away. Instead, the male furrowed his brows at the recollection of the girl's obliviousness to their personal covenant and felt his blood boiling. 'Next time I won't let you forget a single moment with me.' He declared the vow with assuring intent.

Nori carefully contemplated in silence for a few moments, attempting to soften his approach on the girl after attentively listening to her complicated predicament. The man thoughtfully processed her words, absorbing all the information before giving her a sympathetic look.

"You have my sincerest apologies, (Y/n). I truly do wish that your mother will come around and recover as soon as possible." He carefully hoped, giving the girl slight comfort with his soothing tone. Nori straightened his posture before taking out a document to sign. "I'll call Mr Kim to inform him of the situation. I doubt he'll deny you your previous placement. If it's your decision to come back then he'll trust you to continue your mother's position." He gave her a reassuring, professional smile that eased the female's worries. "You'll probably be able to start somewhere later in the week. Three days at most for the official transfer since there is a guarantee you'll be working for a short while now..." The man slightly flinched as he caught himself addressing the sensitive issue of her mother remaining comatose for an elongated time, without a guarantee.

The girl, however, took his words in with only internal stings, knowing the reality to be harsh but true. Instead, she focused her concerns on another subject in his claims. "I want to start now." She firmly declared, catching the older male off guard which he portrayed through a questioning look. "I want to start today. I need something to distract me from everything." She simply stated, hoping her wishes could be accustomed to.

Nori seemed to have his own input on the situation but remained silent before answering her request. "Well, I don't recommend it considering you need some time on your own...but I cannot stop you if you want to start immediately." He uttered his opinion, noting down the adjustments on a separate notepad. Looking over to the mildly perturbed girl, he gave her an encouraging look. "Just don't push yourself."

"Thank you." She quietly managed to mumble. The girl was prepared to leave at that moment, had another fear not entered her perception. Her hands clung to the fabric of her clothes as her shoulders wouldn't ease from her anxiousness. "Also...could you not tell any of the others about my mother's situation." Nori narrowed his brow in confusion, implying his curiosity over her intentions. "It's something I don't want to really parade...I also don't want them treating me any differently from before." She began picturing completely different people in her mind from the ones she had learned about during her time in the compound. It made her feel isolated and unnerved by the idea of their different behaviors. "Even with how rude or rash they can be sometimes, I don't want them being overly nice to me or looking down on me or worrying over me. It's the last thing I want." Her eyes were glued to the floor as she uttered the request, disquieted by her troubles following her everywhere she went.

Nori quietly assessed the situation, thinking over her words. "Not that I had plans on revealing your personal life to them, but why do you feel that way?"

(Y/n) felt slightly self-conscious, but was in need of self-validation for her actions. "I don't want things around here to change...I quite preference their genuine mannerisms over the ones they would show out of sympathy." She began explaining in a level tone, imagining what her environment would feel like with a burden on her shoulders. "I just want to be around something familiar and natural. If they act any differently, it'll be a constant reminder of my mother's predicament." She stared at her fidgeting fingers, trying to steady her trembling hands while her entire body began experiencing a tremor. "I get enough pity back home, and though I need some sympathy right now, I need a place where I want to feel like everything is normal and doesn't revolve around this big issue in my life." Her voice became muted while she desperately searched for fruition in her situation.

The man quietly analysed her explanation before coming to a final track of thought. "I understand. I'm glad to hear you're finding some sort of relief in all this. Feel free to do as you please."

"Thank you, Nori." (Y/n)'s body slowly dissolved with serenity before a sort of happiness surfaced that she hadn't experienced since the tragic news. "I still have the schedule I was given in the beginning, so I'll start right away."

"I wish you a good day then." As the female got up from her seat and walked towards the door with the intent to depart, she was stopped by the male's calling. "Oh, (Y/n) hold on." She turned around to look at the man who was giving her a concerned gaze. "If the work becomes too much to handle or you simply want to talk then feel free to come to me."

The female took a second to process his encouragement before reciprocating his polite gesture with a smile. "Nori, you're a real helper throughout all this."

"Well, considering your predicament, I'm more than obliged to be your friend first and your superior second." The girl felt a gratifying warmth at his supportive comforts and seemed to loosen up her stiff joints and lower her guard.

"So you're ignoring the pecking order?" She raised an eyebrow in a condemning manner with an undertone of sarcasm.

"I created the pecking order, I can do whatever I want with it." Nori simply retorted, earning an amused scoff from the female.

"But truly, thank you for everything." She positively informed before opening the door to prepare to exit and proceed with her intended duties. "I'll go and start work then."

"Enjoy."

Upon leaving the room, the girl spared a few seconds before patting her chest to settle her nervousness, taking a deep breath to renew her state and rejuvenate some of her energy. 'Calm down, it'll just be normal work in a normal day.' Despite her personal concerns lurking at the back of her mind, she turned towards the corridor with the intention to transition to her tasks. However, she had to pause as she noticed a figure standing a few feet a way from her.

Akai gaped at her with wide, unblinking eyes as his entire body seemed frozen in mid stride with a carton of juice halfway at drinking point. The girl unintentionally mimicked this paralysis, waiting for the boy to allocate his senses before any interaction could be exchanged. The boy stood in his dumbfounded state for a few more second before swiftly standing in full regard towards the girl. Slowly approaching her, he took provident steps towards her, almost as though he were looking at a ghost.

"Hey Akai." (Y/n) built up a response, hoping to snap the boy out of his moment of shock. The male flinched at the sound of her voice as he seemed even more amazed at the reality that she was standing in front of him.

"Y-you...what?!" He exclaimed, holding his arms out with seeming intent to grab her and actually feel her physical form but made no further attempt at contact. Instead, he seemed to reduce his speech to quick and sharp grunts in an attempt to force actual words out while mixing in a few attempted syllables. "You-...! I-!" As he was now in close proximity, the female could feel the heat of his flaming eyes burning through her own as she couldn't help but be slightly on edge from this uncharacteristic loss of words. Akai seemed prepared to grab her by the shoulders which put the girl on high alert, only for him to stop his befuddled twitch through a forceful resolve. "I need to go now!" He made an unnecessarily vocal announcement considering the girl was only a few inches away from him.

"Alright...you do that." She uncertainly encouraged.

Akai seemed to be restraining his overwhelmed emotions with great difficulty, managing to only utter a final request. "Just...-! Just don't leave this house until I come back!" He shouted out, earning an even more confused state from the lost girl.

"Ok..." Her simple response was the incentive the male needed to sprint past her and release his energy in a run as he departed the area. She stared at the empty area of his exit with a bemused gaze, still wide eyed before looking back on the path she was intending to take in the first place. 'So much for everything being normal...' She complained in her mind before shaking away the doubt and uncertainty. 'Let's try again...normal work, normal day.' Chanting to herself assurance, she proceeded to take her first stride towards her duties.

Considering the bafflement over her arrival, (Y/n) deliberated on beginning with collecting the laundry for each male in hopes of bringing awareness over her presence without causing unneeded confusion. She made her way towards the first room on the first floor where the more haughty member of the household resided in.

To the girl's smooth transition, Padraig seemed to have not returned to his room at that time and she helped herself to assembling without his consent. She satisfyingly exhaled, relieved that her beginning was peaceful and uneventful and could only hope the rest of the gathering would be as polished.

Briskly moving towards the neighboring room, the girl inhaled deeply, preparing to reveal herself to one of the unaware individuals of the house and gently knocked against his door. Patiently waiting a few moments, the girl repeated her actions with slightly more force to create a greater audible sound to possibly distracted ears. 'I guess Giovanni might not be inside his room right now.' She released an exasperated exhale, slightly nettled that she would have to postpone her introduction to the boy.

Deciding her most appropriate course of action would be to resume her duties without side tracking, she took the handle of the door before calmly opening the entrance into the bedroom. Upon creating a gap into the next section of the compound, the female had to halt herself midway into the abode as her eyes contradicted her past assumptions.

Her optics centered on the slouched frame that stilted on the floor, his back turned to the exit, almost denying any intention of entering the outside world and departing from his own space of seclusion. The characteristically gentle and benevolent boy seemed to find solace and unconventional tranquility in pushing the edged point of a knife into the polished, clean ceramic surface of a plate, dragging the tool along sections of the circular platter, causing unrepairable damage to the dish. The high pitched jagged screech echoed in the silence of the room while each scrape seemed to grow louder with viciousness and pressure. The once pristine and presentable platter became scarred and bruised from numerous tormenting assaults with the acute point of a weapon.

(Y/n) stared at the actions, unable to logically comprehend the kind of side that the boy was exhibiting. Her uneasiness began pricking her skin as each nerve began crawling with perturbation. She desired to see the boy's face, hoping to witness a speck of the familiar anxiousness and endearing nervousness, but was left hanging by a thin line as the boy's expression remained coveted from his position.

As the scrapes and squeaks of the two surfaces filled the disconcerting silence, the female's perception began to pick up on low whispers that floated about the hollow environment. Her ears could barely make out some of the strung on and cryptic sentences. "Not right at all...Did wrong...Cattivo ragazzo..." The haunting chants failed to connect through the girl's perception as she couldn't make sense of his choice in speech. "Yes...Yes...That's right...No..." (Y/n) reflexively flinched as the loud friction between the plate and knife ceased, leaving the boy to remain motionless for a few seconds before sounding out his thoughts. "Cara mia..."

As the boy grew silent once again, the female felt the air around her suffocating her if she did not diffuse the tension in some way. Reluctantly stepping one foot inside the room she hoped her nervous heart was not the first thing to be picked up on. "Gio..."

The boy's body straightened as his one slumped head perked up at the sound, unable to yet face a reality too good for his comprehension. "Un suono cosi dolce..." His amazed breath sighed out before turning his surprised gaze towards the newcomer that stood petrified near the threshold. Giovanni dropped the items in his hands before standing up to greet the girl with an elated smile, his eyes shining with life as he approached the girl as though she were an alleviation to his doubts.

However, instead of openly reciprocating his reaction, the girl stepped back towards the outside, gaping at the male with evident uncertainty and wariness. Giovanni caught the hesitation in her body language and comprehensively read the indicators in her expression. He stopped his approach, the corners of his mouth falling in elevation, only to be forced into a smile again.

"(Y/n), I'm so happy you got to visit again. It's been so dull without you." He cheerfully exclaimed. In contrast, the female remained dumbfounded at the alternating male. "You look quite startled...what, did you forget who I am?" He somewhat joked, attempting to lighten the tone of the situation, only for the girl to reject her investment in his forced endeavor.

"What were you doing?" She eerily questioned, looking behind the boy to stare at the empty space of his previous position with the tools he was using still laying there. Giovanni looked back with unfazed features before chuckling and waving the spectacle off.

"Oh I hope I didn't scare you with that, haha, it understandably looks very concerning without proper context. It's quite a long story" He dismissively chuckled, waving the incident off like it were a common occurrence. He promptly looked at the girl with knowledgeable sights as though ready to mend a misunderstanding. "When I was little a few neighborhood kids and I wanted to make our own omens for luck. So we used to take the sharpest thing we could find and the smoothest surface and create scratches." His placid and composed explanation simmered in genuineness and nostalgia as he spoke with a puerile smirk. "While making one we would think of a wish. The deeper the cut was, the likelier the wish would come true." He bashfully brought his hands together, gazing at the ground with a shy smile. "The harassment from earlier seemed to stop so I didn't want to jinx it by completely reassuring myself that it ended. So I took some precautions." He glanced towards the damaged plate of wishes.

(Y/n) took her time in processing the given information. She thought through her initial impression of his behavior and considered the idea her mind would have an overreaction concerning the atmosphere. She seemed to be seeing gloom all around her as of recently, so she tried to store away her paranoid instincts and replace her dithered expression with a hesitant, understanding smile. However, storing away her doubts did not mean they were completely dismissed, but proceeded to benefit the boy with her trust. "I see, that really looked strange from an outsider's view." She laughed off, being reciprocated with the boy's agreeing nods.

Giovanni's eyes soon fluttered with ebullience as he eagerly approached his visitor with an expectant smile. "But what are you doing here?" He exclaimed, edging closer to the girl, holding an intent state as though a single blink would cause her to disappear. "I thought you weren't coming back-not that I'm complaining!" He quickly interrupted himself before she could misread him.

She unnoticeably gulped down her nervousness at the bearing question, trying to push back her sorrow at the heavier reasoning. "My mother is currently resting...so I've come back to earn some extra money." Upon giving the male the simplified and disingenuous version of her explanation, Giovanni couldn't help but give a sad smile.

"Such a shame. But I'm glad to see you here now." He positively sounded out, delicately latching on to the girl's arm, intending to deter her from leaving. "Would you like to stay? There's nothing I've been desiring more than your company lately." He softly spoke, lightly tugging the girl to persuade her to freely enter.

(Y/n) tentatively shook her head before gesturing to the basket of laundry still in her hand. She hadn't realised how tired her arms were getting until the atmosphere had neutralized and wished to finish her job as soon as possible. "I need to take care of the washing for now. Maybe later, ok?" She promisingly smiled before moving past the stricken boy who tried to maintain a level mindset.

She stacked up the second laundry basket on top of the other and set her next course to be the laundry room. Striding towards the door, she gave the resident a departing glance as she intended to move on to her next task. To the female's wonder, her arm became entangled in strong and relentless fingers. The sudden rough touch caused the girl to reel back and gawked at the action. Giovanni gave her a downhearted gaze, swallowing her in his soft, melancholic visage. "But I hoped you would spend some time with me. I've been worrying that we wouldn't get to finish our cooking together." Giovanni turned his glinting eyes towards the female, tugging at her guilt and sense of fairness with his reminder of her personal request.

(Y/n) attempted to maintain a positive exterior as she searched through her mind for a doable solution. "How about I come at the end of the day to think up of some tastes and recipes. I'm really excited to start working with you again-" As she attempted to pull away, convinced she had created a reasonable deal, her arm was clenched even tighter with evident defiance.

Giovanni's expression faltered into irritation as he captured her surprised gaze in his indignant eyes. "Why don't you stay right now? I'll have everything prepared in just a few minutes." His unsated smile emitted demanding inclinations while the girl was left to try and fathom the overbearing side of his tone.

"Gio, I really would prefer to work at the moment. I want to finish everything before-"

"So you would rather work than be with me?" Despite the female's calm tone, the malice in the boy's voice only grew as his fingers wrapped rounds her arm like securing vines, causing her to slightly jolt as her muscle began pounding with discomfort.

"I don't mean it like that. I also need to tell everyone I'm back so I can spare some time for later-"

"But you're willing to leave me alone?!" The angered male's voice resonated through the room, his eyes smoldering with condemnation while his accusatory vocals pricked the girl's ear. When his iron grip on her caused a severe surge of pain (Y/n) could barely hold in her own frustration.

"Giovanni, stop!" She roughly jerked her confined limb out of the boy's control before proceeding to glare at his actions with astonishment.

Giovanni only returned the bitter glower for a brief second before softening his expression as he realised his mistake. The male strategically backed away from the guarded girl and proceeded to apologetically look down in shame. "I'm very sorry, (Y/n)...I got too carried away." He shriveled his body inward, presenting his speech in a ginger and fragile manner as though a single change in octave could shatter the female. "Please, visit me at your own leisure." Kindly proposing to her his assurance, the female was left confused as to what to interpret the situation as.

(Y/n) uncertainly moved towards the door, too unsure whether to turn her back on the dormant boy or not. With the blood flow returning to her limb, she carefully analysed her company as she retreated towards the doorway. "I'll talk to you later." She quietly spoke, unsure herself whether it was a genuine or empty promise.

Allowing her to leave his room, the boy watched the girl with pitiful guilt until the moment she left. He narrowed his brow once he was left alone and internally condemned himself for lacking the composure or preparation to deal with her dismissal. Glancing toward the bruised plate lying on the ground, he considered a few more wishes to add on to its rigid surface.

(Y/n stood in front of an entrance she was sure would hold another member of the household behind. After retrieving Lilito's and Akai's clothes without either male inhabiting their respective abodes, she began wondering where the boys spent their free time. However, for the person in question, she knew what to expect once she passed the threshold of his room.

When the girl entered the room, she was not surprised to see a familiar figure relaxing against his mattress, the only sign of life represented by his periodical breathing. The female quietly tip-toed towards the slumbering male to assess how far into unconsciousness he had descended.

Leaning over the boy's face to hover a good pace above him to consider whether she should reveal herself at that moment, or prefer a more appropriate time. She took a small moment to make her decision and leaned on the option of allowing him his rest. Preparing to step away and simply allow him to have his own time, (Y/n) was hardened to the spot, frozen in shock and a compound of nervousness and embarrassment as the male's cerulean eyes revealed themselves as they peeked through their hazy eyelids to open up the image of the anxious and speechless worker.

Despite his nonplus reaction, the girl quickly began whispering apologies before he could fully process the information and misinterpret the context. "Sorry! I was just checking if you were asleep. I'll leave now-" As she prepared to pull herself away from the shameful scene, the girl felt a swift yank against her neck, launching her back into her previous position. With her neck secured in place by a hand, the female was forced to maintain astounded eye contact with the muddled male.

Seok's clouded gaze took in the girl's image as he remained unfazed by her sudden appearance, considering the possibility of a different reality rather than what's genuine. His longing gaze was saturated in a doleful disappointment, disillusioned by the moment of unclarity. "I'm dreaming again." His dissatisfied, lucid tones were filled with disheartened condemnation as all girl's image could represent was an unachievable dream.

(Y/n) stared at him for a few more moments, pondering over his unusual conclusion. This led her to voice her confusion. "You have dreams that you're still sleeping in bed?" At her befuddled expression, Seok squinted his tired eyes with equal cluelessness and bafflement. The girl immediately felt the hand that had secured her disappear, releasing her to straighten her posture. The boy bolted upright, sending his astounded gaze forward before focusing his astounded sights on the girl. He was more awake than ever before as he reached back out towards the female, with a wide eyed look.

Seok placed his hands on either side of the girl's face, trying to comprehend the solid state that she had presented herself in. The female bemusingly examined the boy's actions, attempting to understand his response to her company. Before she could come to a solid conclusion, the worker twitched in slight discomfort as his scanning fingers roughly pinched her cheeks to assure himself that his senses were no deceiving him.

(Y/n) glared at the action while the male did not give leniency to his hold. Seok winced as his own cheeks were carelessly handled. Inclined by his own reaction, the girl had returned the pain. However, instead of begrudging annoyance, the male cycled through wonderment before finally feeling secure enough to let go. "(Y/n)..." His astounded voice exhaled, intently watching his company to verify his grasp on the situation.

"Is this what counts for hindsight these days?" She sarcastically quipped, rubbing the sore spots on her face that were left by the boy's fingers. (Y/n) stifled a gasp as she felt the weight of another body dragging her down. She sent a sharp, confused stare towards the responsible individual, attempting to decipher his behavior. Seok had tossed his arm over her shoulder and wrapped another under the opposite side of her body.

He leaned into her, treating the petrified girl like a cushion as he relaxed against her stiff form, leaving the female to handle the extra body mass. She prepared a scolding presented in a question, but the first to voice out their thoughts wasn't her. "Don't leave." He beckoned, holding her securely in his grasps so as to trap her before she could deny or comply.

(Y/n) had to take back a few paces and process the request in her mind. "Considering I just arrived to work, it'll be kind of pointless to leave the house now." Her informative words barely held any presence in the male's mind as he continued squeezing her tight.

"Don't leave me. Don't leave me." The gentle whine and desperation in his vocals presented his fearfulness to lose her out of sight. With his mind and body feeling at ease for the first time in days, he was reluctant to allow the girl her freedom. He began leaning in towards the bed, dragging the female down with him as he attempted to pull her into his own world. "Lay down with me. Don't go."

The girl protested against his intentions and held her grounds. "Seok, what are you doing? Wake up properly." Her insistent request was driven by the idea that he was still half-asleep as he was performing his perplexing actions.

He proceeded to pull himself towards her, like a creature attracted by a radiant light. "Where were you?" The question only further left the girl speechless as she wasn't able to interpret it. Seok curled up beside her to ensure her presence could still be felt. "Why did it take you so long to come back?" He questioned, focusing his solemn glance on the girl in search of an answer.

(Y/n) blinked her addle eyes at the confusing question before finding a possible answer. "I wasn't planning to come back really." She downheartedly said as she knew the obscure explanation that would follow. "My mum isn't fit to work right now, so I came back to replace her again." Her simple exposition allowed the boy to thoughtfully consider her words before he apathetically hummed.

"At least you're here now." He mused a mumbled, smiling towards the female with a relieved appearance. "You won't leave again, right?" He enthusiastically questioned with slightly more positivity in his voice for the girl to be swayed by and notice.

(Y/n) could only give his naive optimism a guilty gaze that sat unwelcomingly in his perception. "Until my mum is better at least." She truthfully informed him, triggering a pricking sensation that spread through the boy's brain. He suspiciously stared at the young worker, obscuring his genuine emotions and thoughts behind a neutralistic expression. He couldn't care less about their previous cleaner and was only focused on sealing the girl in his arms to the house.

"Stay here with me." He calmly requested, his voice holding a soothing but demanding edge to it as he latched onto the girl's wrist. (Y/n) began having nervous flashbacks to her previous encounter with a household member and wondered what approach would better suit the male she was dealing with.

"Why do you want me to stay so badly? I'm sure I'm not the most interesting thing around here." She lightheartedly joked, trying to locate a source to his interest and urgency.

"You're the only one that makes me happy." He freely stated, watching her with despondent eyes as she seemed to be the only shimmering ray in his gloomy surroundings.

The visitor was slightly shocked at the standard the boy had put her up at and tried to search her mind for words to connote her uncertain feeling to. "Oh, that's very flattering Seok." She exclaimed with gratitude and honesty in her vocals. Though, she chose to conceal her more pressured and disconcert side to her reaction. She felt his yearning gaze lingering on her with great expectation, causing her to feel strained and uncertain of what her response should be. "But I'm here to do my job. I'll come by and visit you when I'm not so busy." Her informative compromise seemed to dissatisfy the boy who looked away, wanting to protest but refrained out of concern that it would aggravate the girl.

"Don't go." He quietly desired, causing the female further discomfort. She felt her body chill and sink with unclarity as she felt guilty that she would be denying an earnest request.

To clear away the fog in their atmosphere she enthusiastically smiled down at the boy as a possible compromise occurred to her. "Hey, how about you show me some of your drawings when I come back, I'd like to try my horrible art skills out again." She watched the male thoughtfully contemplating the offer and found her window of opportunity. "I'd love to see what else you can make too."

Seok sluggishly lifted himself up to a sitting position, staring into blank space out of consideration. "I'd really like that." He finally said, relieving the pressure on the girl's shoulders. She exhaled her solace and gladly smiled at the cooperative boy before hopping out of the bed.

"I'll see you later then Seok." She chirped, earning a farewell from the boy as she exited his room with the laundry that had lead to her visit in the first place. As she exited out of the room, she immediately felt a wave of calm and alleviation that her alert mind had been longing for. She felt the urge to simply drop the basket of laundry and relieve some of her building anxiety in a moment of peace. 'What the hell is going on? I'm glad I was missed but what's up with everyone?' A frightened sensation began seeping inside of the girl's mind as she replayed the uncomfortable scenarios that brought her guard up. 'I hope everything goes back to normal after this...' She lamented, trying to grasp at the small semblance of strength she still had.

As she turned towards the hall, intending to distract herself for the duration of the journey to the laundry room, she paused her steps to be greeted by another familiar face she had yet to encounter. Eban watched her from a few paces away, refraining from making any movements as his unreadable expression did little to grant the girl clues on what his reaction is. Eban patiently analysed her with soft eyes while the girl was left to fish through her cluttered mind for words.

"Eban, how are you?" She positively greeted with a big smile plastered over her lips. As the girl presented him with a cheerful expression, he could only return her forced happiness with a sad and sympathetic smile. (Y/n) was confused with the response and tried to hold up her layer of optimism. "You're the first guy that actually seems sad about my return, haha. Honestly, I would have thought you'd be one of the more welcoming ones." She lightheartedly joked, hoping to lift the mood in some humorous manner.

Instead, Eban gave her an expression made out of pure sorrow and ache for the girl. The female was taken aback by his face and wondered what might have caused the result. She tensed up slightly as the male began calmly approaching her. Her mind rushed with words that never made it past her lips and wasn't sure whether to expect good or bad things from his behavior.

"To be honest, Padraig didn't really seem too happy with me coming back. Though he was less negative about it than I'd imagined." She continued blabbering on, hoping to hit some sort of potential for conversation and yearning for a verbal reply that would give her some sort of inclination on the boy's mood. However, with only footsteps being the produced sound from him, the girl shifted her sights to the ground in an attempt to cover her panic. "Then again, it is Padraig so I can't always be sure what's on his mind. Just when you think you know someone-" Her anxious speech was cut short as she felt the support of hands enveloping her body. The girl was briefly shocked by the action and proceeded to slightly pull against the hold. "Eban, what-?"

"You're so sad." His gentle voice fluttered into her ear as it coated her frightened senses like a sweet liquid, halting her struggle to freeze at the comment. She wanted to deny his assumption and play through his comment with confusion. But all her body would allow was unresponsive silence. "You're suffocated by stress and worry. Something awfully serious must have happened in your life." Her eyes widened at the direct assumption and could not remember the last time she had felt so bare in front of a person. "It's ok if something is bothering you. You don't need to play at being strong when you're suffering"

The girl gasped in a breath of air but was denied any exhalation as her heart began stitching with pain. She remained baffled at his strikingly targeting words, unable to respond as her lips began trembling. Feeling a hand gently holding her head, her shaking arms unwillingly let go of the laundry basket while her interior and exterior structure began breaking down. The delicate touches and comforting voice seemed to break through her attempted normality and began chipping away at the blockade that pushed back all her pent up sorrow.

"You don't need to pretend in front of me. I won't ask you what the problem is." The girl desired to respond to him, whether her words would be of gratitude or denial she was restricted as her voice rejected her trial. She was aware if she spoke, her sentences would be choked up, slurred and difficult to annunciate as she held back flooding tears. "I know you want to be held without feeling insecure that you're hurt." (Y/n) became weak and agonized as his consoling words gave her the relief to be in his presence where she wouldn't feel the pressure of a judging gaze, while her eyes relieved their tension to allow her silent cry its craved release. "Feeling dejected doesn't make you a different person. So I won't think any differently of you." He guided the girl's aching head to rest against his shoulder where she allowed herself to sniff and twitch as she quietly cried in an almost private moment while the boy supported her in a warm embrace. The male acted as a secure presence and company as he stayed quiet while the girl allowed herself to freely express her misery and uncertainty to an understanding power. She desired for the warmth of a hug where she still felt a privacy for her agony to be released.

Eban gingerly held her quivering body, fearful the slightest of pressures on the vulnerable girl could cause her to flee or shatter her entirely. So he remained content with simply holding her against himself where he could freely skim his fingers through her hair and sense her clinging to him for assistance. Aware another moment like this would not be given so easily to him, he intended to savor each breath of bliss. However, much to his awaiting expectation, their time of peace was cut short. Eban disappointingly gazed at the door that was opening a few feet away from them, watching as a figure appeared on the scene.

Gennai's eyes quickly fixated on the girl in the blond's arms and immediately radiated with excitement and joy upon recognising her in an instant. "(Y/n)!" He exclaimed with elatedness as he built up the energy to rush towards them.

(Y/n) froze on the spot to the voice behind her as she was completely unprepared to deal with another individual in her state. To her aid, she was stabilised as a tender voice whispered into her ear. "I'll buy you some time." His reassuring promise remained in her consciousness as his body disappeared to pass her and hinder his sibling's approach. "Whoah, where are you going?" He teased his younger brother, grabbing him by his wrist to bring him back before he could near the distraught girl.

(Y/n) took the moment of his distraction to pull herself together as she began wiping her tears way and letting out her last sniffs while the males interacted. "I want to see (Y/n)!" Gennai's overzealous excitement boomed as he tried to pull away from his brother.

"But did you wash your hands?"

"I...- What?" Genna stared at his older sibling's face but saw no trace of sarcasm or jesting to imply it was anything but genuine. The shorter male gave him a confused look as he became agitated with impatience while he flicked gazes towards the girl in hopes of finding an escape to her.

Eban scornfully shook his head in disappointment. "You can't just go up to her with dirty hands and greet her. That's very impolite and distasteful." He scolded in a deprecating manner, making the boy gape at him in amazement, bafflement, and intolerance as he tried to shuffle towards the new arrival.

"What? Since when?"

"Since someone made it up. Now let me see your hands." Eban restrained the boy as he took hold of both his hands and lifted them palms up. He speculated and inspected them with a critical looking eye. "Hmm...I don't think you're ready to greet (Y/n). Your hands are quite dirty."

Gennai was left speechless for a moment before he began to angrily protest. "But how?! I'm not Lilito!" After his comment, his aggravated attention was subdued as he heard a vocal chuckle coming from the third party member.

"Honestly, if only Lilito had these restrictions." (Y/n) remarked back, finally turning around to face him as she had renewed her look to a more composed presentation.

"Oh, false alarm then." Eban quickly responded before letting the male go to indulge himself to his heart's content.

Gennai jumped into a big embrace, hanging onto the girl with intentions on keeping her by his side. "(Y/n), you came back! I knew you wouldn't leave me. I wouldn't let you." Despite the cheerfulness in his voice, the girl felt slightly unnerved by his promising claim. Choosing to overlook it, she petted the happy boy's head with gratitude.

"Yeah, I'm replacing my mum again. So I'll be working here." She informed before lightly pushing the boy away to pick up the fallen basket. "Which reminds me, I need to prepare everyone's laundry. I'll catch you later-"

As she prepared to leave, the girl was pulled back to stare at a pair of confused and downhearted golden eyes. "But aren't you going to spend time with me?"

(Y/n) felt as though she were repeating the same scenarios all over again and couldn't help but be placed under stress. "I'm sorry. I returned to work, I wish it was my job to talk to you guys, it would certainly be easier." Her sincere speech made the boy's disappointment grow, as well as his reluctance to let her go. "But I'll be coming to your room next and you can come and talk to me whenever you want." Her offer caused the male to hesitantly let her slip away as she proceeded to continue with her daily tasks.

Once she disappeared out of view, Gennai focused his words on his sibling who was quietly observing from a distance. "Was that Seok's laundry?"

Eban thoughtfully considered the question before nonchalantly replying with a dismissive tone. "Guess so. Why?" He questioned back.

Gennai didn't give him an immediate reply, focusing on procession his next steps of actions before answering out his main troubles and agitations. "Just want to see who's wasting her time."
