Chapter 3: Lust And Wrath
Lust- An inordinate craving for the pleasure of the body. An uncontrollable passion or intense longing for sexual desires having little emotional attachment as one is blinded by lechery.
Wrath- Having uncontrollable feelings of anger, rage and hatred to the point of seeking injury and violence onto others. It is the loss of self-control and the craving to cause pain on others regardless of their innocence or guilt.
(Y/n) scouted around the long corridor as she recalled Geovanni's instructions over her next destination. 'So he said I'll need to turn left when I reach the end of the hall...gees this place is huge.' The female looked around the intricate walls and small sculptures that would occasionally pop up beside the trail, and couldn't help but feel alienated from the rest of the compound. The soft carpet beneath her feet felt soft and new, as though not a single foot had ever trudged its fur nor the stands and ornaments ever seeming to have been touched.
Amidst her sight seeing, the female was alerted as one of the soundless doors that remained ahead of her flew open for the rackets of giggles and chuckles to escape from the room. Out stumbled a young woman who's unkempt, long hair stuck out in an unruly fashion as though she had been rolling around for hours on end. She held articles of clothing in her hands as only a few items kept her voluptuous body covered.
The (h/c) haired girl watched the scene in surprised silence as the woman laughed on her way down the hall, seeming to disregard the stunned young female. "I'll see you next week sugar muffin~" She gave a flirtatious glance towards the gaping door before turning back around to depart down the corridor.
"Ah! I miss you already Julie, my flower." (Y/n) was drawn back towards the open entrance as an individual skipped out through doors with a hyper smile before immediately freezing in place at the sight of the new girl staring at him. The boy took a moment to register her image before an interested grin spread across his features as he set his sights on the stumped female. "Oh my~ Two lovely ladies in a row. Hm, must be a Saturday..." He approached the girl with a nonchalant stride while (Y/n) kept an unsure stare as he confidently progressed near her. Behind his black framed glasses were a pair of deep navy eyes that showed an immense spark of interest as they watched the heedful girl. When he had reached the female's vicinity, he slightly leaned in to take a closer look at her face while (Y/n) kept her stance in retaliation against appearing flustered at his actions, however maintaining a wary perception of the person before her. "Did you come here to see me, lovely? We can take this conversation in my room if you want."
The suggestively sweet undertone he held caught on to the girl's heightened instincts as she chose to politely step back before arousing any misconceptions. "No, I'm here looking for someone called Seok. I'm told his room is further down." The joyful boy gave her a bewildered expression as he straightened back up to stare into open space in awe.
"Seok...? That guy?! Has a girl after him? Huh...looks like there's hope for everyone these days." The boy scratched his dark, soft hair in wonder before the girl denyingly shook her head.
"No, no. You misunderstand. I need to speak to him about applying for a job here. My name is (Y/n) (L/n)." The boy became thoughtful at her words before humming in deep consideration.
"Hmm...(L/n)? Sounds familiar."
"That must be because of my mother. She worked here as a cleaner, I'm here to take her place until she comes out of hospital." The contemplative boy soon warmed his tone up as his eyes softened with sympathy.
"Oh yeah, I heard what happened this morning. Hope she's comes out alright." The female thanked the male's compassionate gesture before his energetic aura returned with full blast. "Well, if you're going to be working here, I might as well give you a helpful tip." He placed his palm atop the female's head and fondly petted her as a welcoming gesture. "Don't go into my room unless you're prepared to be traumatised." (Y/n)'s eyes widened, glancing towards the room he had emerged from as she mentally barricaded the area as a forbidden zone. "Hahaha, the name's Lilito sweet-cheeks. Come to me if you ever need some fun time, I wouldn't mind being your first~" He purred out the syrupy tone, locking his dark blue eyes with the female's as they held a mischievous spark in them along with a promising confirmation.
"Who said you're my first 'sugar muffin'?" She irritatingly retorted, earning a surprised chuckled from the amused boy. (Y/n) annoyingly stared at the tittering male until he settled down his humoured outbreak.
"Oh, it's easy to tell~" The female inwardly grumbled as she was far from amused by his antics and had to use all of her strength not to slap his hand away as he proceeded to teasingly ruffle her hair. "Daw, you're so adorable. Trying to sass me like it's nobody's business. But fair play, I'll leave you for now and try to keep my hands to myself. See ya around sweetheart."
(Y/n) exhaled her irritation and prepared to part from the boy as he made his way past her. The girl took a single step into proceeding with her journey, only to squeak in surprise as she felt a swift smack against her lower behind. She instinctively spun around to send an astounded glare in the boy's direction as he giggled at her reaction.
"What? I said I'll 'try'." He quickly excused himself before running down the hall with flamboyant energy, escaping before the female had time to regain control of the situation.
'Well that was degrading...' Her scorn was left unsatisfied as she had to force herself to continue to search for the individual in mind. She sulked along her way as she continued nearing the corner of he next turn. 'Do all these guys live here...what even is this place, I'm sure this is the right address? Wish my mum talked more about her job, at least then I might have had some sort of idea-'
(Y/n)'s thoughts were sharply interrupted as her sights were directed towards the desk that was flung against the wall with unnerving strength, shattering the entire structure into pieces the moment it came into impact with the unlucky surface. The female's entire frame chilled at the violent sight and reluctantly looked towards the open doorway that had been shoved open by the furniture's momentum. "Where are you...?! Where the f**k are you?!" An aggravated set of deep, masculine vocals erupted through the air like an unwelcome presence while the female instinctively took a few steps back to avoid confronting the aggravated tone.
'The hell...?! Is the Hulk in there, or something?!' She pressed her tongue at the roof of her mouth to avoid uttering a single word that would give away her presence. The girl stared at the broken woodwork with heightened alertness before her entire body froze as she sensed the approaching presence of the aggressive attacker within.
(Y/n) was torn between escaping the scene, wanting nothing more than to distance herself from the person behind the throw, or confronting the annoyed male, knowing her goal was waiting just beyond a corner. "Ha! Got ya b***h!" From her moment of hesitations, she was stunted as a pair of feet fervently strode from beyond the entrance to give the female a full view of its inhibitor. "Thought you could get away from me, huh?"
(Y/n) seemed to slightly relax as her image of a large, bulky mammoth of a person dissolved to be replaced by a fairly tall boy with naturally slumped garnet hair that was parted to the side, allowing to display the numerous piercings that lined his ear like a collection of valuable exhibitions. The newcomer satisfyingly looked down at a box of juice before he triumphantly poked a hole in it using his small straw, with more force than necessary. The female's shoulders slackened at the less exaggerated image she had created of the disturbance, only for her entire body to tense up with alarm as he glanced towards her with his burning crimson eyes. (Y/n) felt small and fragile in his sights, watching his burning optics blazing through her head as they carefully assessed her form with speculative dubiousness.
"The f**k are you...? Are you one of Lilito's whores?" He aggravatingly asked the girl, making her snap out of her vigilant state to contradict such a promiscuous claim.
"No! I only met him a few minutes ago." The questioning male scoffed at the response before taking a sip of his juice.
"That's how it is with all of them." (Y/n) gulped and straightened her body under the instinctive delusion of seeming larger in size as the boy began approaching her with a heavy stride. The female couldn't shake off the heightened awareness she felt at his presence as every pore in her body tried to force the defiant girl to run away from the aggressive aura that surrounded the male. Her mind sent out signals for her to completely drop everything and escape from the frightening boy while he was still a few paces away from her.
His crimson eyes held a fiery irascibility that could easily be triggered by the simplest of gestures. The aware female forcefully stood her ground, hoping desperately that her unsteady and unnerved heart beat would go unnoticed by the looming male. The girl fiddled around in her bag for a split moment before retrieving her forged letter to present it as evidence. "M-my name is (Y/n) (L/n), my mum was a cleaner here and I-hey!" The female was interrupted as the piece of paper disappeared from her fingers due to the boy snatching it away to analyse it himself with little consideration for the girl's personal explanation.
(Y/n) chose to keep silent as she greatly stressed herself over the possibility of the male catching on to the legitimacy of the note. She uncontrollably began tapping her foot against the floor with an uncertainty as the boy speculated over the note. The girl darted her eyes around in an attempt to distract herself from her nagging fears, only for her gaze to revert back to the male once she felt his sight focusing on her. The boy harshly shoved the letter back into the girl's hands before leaning down to her eye level and closely staring into her pupils with a powerful intensity.
The scrutinising gaze remained unreadable to the female as she kept her mouth tightly shut in tense anxiousness as she allowed him to analyse her in his sceptical gaze. "Let's get one thing straight." His deep, low vocals rippled through the girl's senses in an unpleasant chill as he focused his challenging warning in the depth of his stare. "You. Are not allowed inside my room. Forget that it even exists, if it's time for it to be cleaned; you skip it. Do that, or else you'll be keeping your mother company, in hospital." (Y/n) stared at him in stunned silence at the clear threat that was presented to her.
The female remained quiet as the boy proceeded to pass her in his process of leaving the area. The boy nonchalantly sipped his juice, completely disregarding the girl that now remained as a second thought to him, only for his attention to be drawn back to her voice. "What's your name, Sir?" The male halted his tracks before glancing back at his caller with an irritated glare.
"The f**k? Did you even listen to what I just said? What's it to you anyways?" (Y/n) took a deep breath to steady her nerves, calming her senses down as she tried to keep an optimistic and calm approach to the situation.
"Since I'm going to be working here I'd like to at least learn everybody's names. My mum always said that it's the first step in creating a familiar and comfortable working environment. So I'd like to know your name." The boy eyed the girl with a weirded out gaze before furrowing his brow in slight confusion.
"God, you're weirder than Lily-boy...my name is Akai Wardworth. Do whatever the f**k you want with that and don't p**s me off." Akai conclusively turned his back to the female before walking away as though her existence wasn't worth the extra attention.
(Y/n) exhaled in content before sucking a breath of air back in to satisfy the relaxing sensation as her motor functions loosened. She neared the pile of broken wood and shattered debris skittering on the floor. Concerned this served as a glimpse of her future duties she would have to undertake once she is accepted into her mother's position, the female quickly ran towards the corner where she leaned against the wall to separate herself from the witnessed part of the corridor. The girl felt her spirits plunging as her mind would not rest with the looming fear of her employment along with the numerous people she would be looking out for.
(Y/n) closed her eyes for a moment to unclutter her showering thoughts and create a limpid area in her brain. 'Gosh, how many people live here...? Doesn't matter, if I keep getting frightened at the slightest of things then I can forget about working here...mum dealt with all this by herself without a single complaint...and yet, I feel like I still haven't seen everything.'
The girl looked forward in the hall to see four rooms down: the door that had been specified would hold the individual she had been searching for, remained only a few meters away. However, as she moved closer, her positivity stood at a wavering frequency as she noticed a pair of doors at symmetrical opposition from one another on each side of the corridor. (Y/n) looked from one room to the one corresponding on the other end as both the compounds would be considered as 'the fifth room.'
'Huh...you're kidding...?' She uncertainly walked in between either door to swiftly dart her sights from one uncertain area to the other. '...Just relax, you're seriously overthinking this. If they're not in one room, then they're in the other. This 'Seok' person must be somewhere here...let's start with this one.'
The female walked towards one of the mystery doors to gently knock against the surface, producing an echo hollow at each contact with the wooden structure. The female waited for a moment to receive a confirming answer only to be greeted by the silence that hovered over the perimeter.
The girl hit her forehead against the frame as she grumbled out a sigh. 'Today's just not my day...might as well get it over with and try the other door.' The female prepared to move away but had her body react contrastingly as she heard an angered voice pierce her auditory range.
"Do not! Move! A muscle!" (Y/n) froze in place at the command as a stern voice filtered through her perception. The female dared to twist her stiff head to the side to lock her eyes with a pair of vexed golden orbs that glowered at her with heavy suspicion.
