Chapter 26: A Book Of Stars

(Y/n) gradually made her paces down the corridor, mentally noting to herself the rout of her next obligation on the schedule. Upon turning a corner, her body was compressed against a soft surface that she did not recall being there in the past.

Looking up to decipher the identity of the larger body, she stared into a muted green eyes of her superior that was looking down at her intrusive form with reflective puzzlement. "Pardon me." He excused before courtly taking a few steps to allow the girl her personal space. The younger worker displayed an equally apologetic smile before waving the harmless collision off.

"It's no problem, Nori. How has work been today?" She inquired over the male's own routine, being replied to by an exasperated, deep exhale.

"As the head staff member, my job mostly consists of sorting out documents and balancing between serving the young masters. So far, work has been exhausting since the morning." He bitterly explained, causing a sympathetic gaze to fall on him by the girl.

"I'm sorry to hear. I'm sure it'll get better." She tried to encourage. Nori gave a polite, understanding but incredulous smile before footsteps quickly approached the pair in urgency.

"Nori, I need you to order me a few kilogrammes of rapid setting cement and Alginate Mould. It's crucial that it comes today." The head worker crinkled his expression in agitation before composing himself enough to turn around and regard the student in question.

"Is there any possibility you can wait until Monday Master Padraig? I have assignments I need to finish and it will take me a while before I find a supplier that works on the weekend down town." The man hoped to barter, only for the boy to cross his arms in defiance.

"It must be today. Now stop wasting my time and go find the materials." He demanded before refutably turning his back to him in disclosure to the conversation, forcing his request on the worker. Nori watched with stoic irritation as the young boy departed from the area, settling his command on the male with absolute necessity.

(Y/n) worriedly looked towards the man who stood stiff and motionless, hoping by some miracle that his duties would clear for a moment for him to relax, only to be failed by reality. "Nori, are you ok?" She questioned the unresponsive male.

Nori proceeded to calmly walk towards one of the balconies, remaining out of sight from the confused girl's vision, but did not have to hold her breath before hearing a small clinking sound resonating from afar. "Lith, what happened?!" She heard the sculptor's distant voice shouting in the background before watching a pleased looking butler emerging from the balcony, with a satisfied smile.

"Quite so." He answered the amused female before passing her by to complete the tasks he was assigned. "Don't forget to work on the study." He reminded her before striding away to his own business, allowing the female her peace of lonesome before she encouraged herself to transition to the next responsibility.

Ending her journey to the door in interest, she entered the new room to proceed on establishing its requisite for her labour. Once she was within the room, the female was left to marvel at the ornate and ancient aesthetic that coated the surroundings. She watched the antique shelves that were filled to the brim with books, covering each wall before looking down at the floor to see a Balkan Embroidery rug sprawled across the area of the wooden floor with a golden fringe lining the boarder. Her eyes trailed across the timber furniture and the voluminous globe that stood to the side of the room, creating a sophisticated aesthetic.

An intrigued smile spread to her lips as she further entered the environment. Her sights were drawn to the numerous books on the shelves, glossing over the fairly new looking covers and pages, along with the more antiquated of the other majority of literature and writing. Admiring the intricate charm of the entire structure, she took down one publishing in hopes that she was permitted to inspect the book.

As she analysed the cover, she was informed of the material consisting of Shakespearian writing and drafts collected into a single piece. The female looked around at the stands piled with romantic and crime novels to horror and fantasy before her sights curiously wondered towards an opening in one of the cupboards.

Reaching towards the crack of the gap, she lightly pulled at the wooden doors, causing the hinges to creak with their rusted motions. She reached inside to grab onto one of the stacked books within. Taking the novella out, the girl was left so stare wide eyed at the acrylic illustration of a man and a woman displaying their affection for each other in excessively salacious passion. The girl lightly snickered under hear breath at the discovered treasure before putting it back in its place.

'Erotic novels, Shakespeare and old literature? Lilito will have a field day with this room...' She commented within her mind before standing up to glance around the area. She carefully pinpointed sectors of the environment that needed her assistance in cleaning. After assessing the state of her surroundings, she picked up her cleaning equipment in preparation to rejuvenate the room to a more presentable glory.

(Y/n) carefully closed the door of her completed task, widening her muscles as she stretched from side to side to rid the rigidness and strain in her body. After yawning out her slight fatigue, the female prepared to depart from the area with a satisfied flourish from her checked off duty.

The moment she turned towards her next destination, her sights caught an individual unknowingly approaching her with a careful hold. She closed in on the distracted male, maintaining him in mind as she recalled back to the contents of the room. "Lilito, hey, have you seen what's in the study- what have you done to the egg...?"

(Y/n) gaped at the object in the boy's hands that she could barely identify as an egg. The food item was connected to, what she could reluctantly decipher, as a pacifier and a frilly, miniature head wear for the cusp of its head to warm it like a newborn. The female directed her bewildered stare towards the boy who portrayed no responsive reaction to the bewildering spectacle that he seemed to deem as mundane.

"What have you done to the egg...?" She repeated with wide and disbelieving eyes, demanding nothing more than an explanation for the situation at hand.

Lilito tenderly smiled down at the food in his cupped hand as though looking towards his own blood child. "Well you see, I gave LJ a pacifier to keep him quiet while I carry him around. I took away the rubber tip because that would break his fragile little shell; and created a cute little bonnet for him using a doily, to keep his little head all warm!" He eagerly chirped, cradling the inanimate good in a wall of fingers while the female gawked at his explanation that seemed to create more questions than answers.

"LJ?" She repeated in an inquisitive tone, earning a positive nod from the boy.

"Lilito Jr. I couldn't just call him Eggy. That would just be racist, my little omelette deserves a real title." He explained, rubbing cheeks with the shell in paternal care. (Y/n) stared at his lavish parental behaviour, beginning to consider his mental health and sense of reality.

She had to briskly shudder her head to rid the witnessed scene from her conscious. "Anyway...I wanted to show you what I saw in the study room. Come and see." The worker urged, taking the unprepared boy by the arm, and leading him towards the room she had recently resided in. Lilito slowly pulled against her own forces until he came to an abrupt stop, just a few feet away from the door in question.

"Haha, what's so important that you want to drag me inside the study?" He uncertainly questioned, skidding his feet against the floor as he hesitated against the girl's grip.

"I saw a bunch of erotica and Shakespeare based literature in the room. Come, I'll show you." She excitedly elaborated, tugging on the boy's arm, only to end up forcefully yanking him further. (Y/n) looked at the reluctant male who seemed to be debilitating on approaching the room in question. Lilito's gaze was sternly locked with the door to the study, his expression betraying the unnerving lines in his features as his entire body seemed to stiffen like a statue. "What's wrong? Is something in there?" The girl inquired, looking back at the area to try and discover any means of distress that were earning the daunted reaction out of the boy.

Lilito let out a weak chuckle at her suspicion before pulling his limb out of her grasp. "No, I've never even been inside that study. And I don't really plan on going in." He informed her, preparing to depart as far away from the scene as possible before his hand was held back to remain in the area.

"Why?" (Y/n) further interrogated, befuddled behind the reasoning of his discomfort and pulling him back in. Lilito's eyes strayed away as his mind tried to gather a pretext for his baffling behaviour.

He gave her a dismissive grin before petting the girl's head to reject her negative assumptions. "Don't concern yourself. I don't like studies in general. It reminds me of doing work and school which just exhausts me mentally. So, I'll just go-" As the boy prepared to separate from the female and the subject, his hand was taken in a small grip to halt his escape.

"Come on, this is a gold mine for you. You're the first person I thought of when I say this." She lightly tugged the reluctant male towards the door, causing his senses to spike with slight alarm as his large eyes stuck to the nearing room.

"Haha, come on I don't feel like it." He pushed on, attempting to slide his hand out of the female's hold, only for her to dismiss his anxiousness as stubborn disinterest.

"Come on, stop being a baby, I want to see your face when you look at the things in there." She enthusiastically concluded, hauling the male towards the door to reveal the encounter.

"That's fine, I don't want to." Reluctant to descry the contents within, the boy tried walking back, maintaining crucial eye contact with the room as though expecting demons to arise from within.

"It's only going to be a second."

"No, I'm ok, we can do this later." He rushed through his excuse, turning and pulling against the obdurate female who was tiring from his unreasonable reaction. Lilito's lungs began trembling with the shaky panting he began displaying which he tried to force down from sight.

"Later I won't have time." The female managed to stabilise his shrivelling form near the door where she took the handle to take him in. The boy's vision began muddling and blurring as he was driven into a world of illusions and familiar yet unwelcoming territory. Shadows began lining the corners of his sights as his perception picked up only on the heavy beating of his heart synchronising with the echoing ticks of a clock. Flashes of images began displacing the sights before him as his environment seemed to be transforming right in front of his eyes. The distant repeats became invasive as they surrounded his entire form, he felt his small body being engulfed in a silhouette. "Just take one look at-"

"I SAID NO!" Lilito screamed, choked out and ripped his hand out of the girl's clasp. (Y/n) stopped at this, bewilderingly staring at the sweating boy as he began frantically rubbing his shoulder and arm, as though parasites were attacking his limb.

The female quietened at the display, waiting for her company's shaky and desperate breaths to settle into more coherent inhales. After the boy had brought himself to the reality before him, he noticed the girl sending him confused and concerned stares, causing him to respond with a dismissive smile at her unnerved consideration.

"Haha, sorry, I just really hate studying. I've been failing some of my classes lately so it just brings back bitterness..." The boy noticed her uncertainty towards the plausibility of his excuse. Lilito lightly laughed, holding little genuine energy behind his amusement as he petted the girl's head for comfort. "Haha, sorry, sorry. Did I startle you? I didn't mean to worry you, it's ok." He maintained a content attitude around him where the female's doubts seemed to stabilise.

"Sorry, I didn't think you were that upset. I'll try and not be so pushy in the future." She apologetically stated, getting the boy to smile and soothe her guilt. At the sight of her downfallen mood, he felt a heavy weight on his conscious at her negative reaction, getting him to chuckle at his own reciprocation to her emotions. He let out a small giggle that earned a confused glance from the female. "Why are you laughing...?" She seriously questioned, watching as the male seemed to find amusement in the downcast situation.

"It's funny what effect you have on me. When you feel sad, I feel sad. When you feel happy, I feel happy. It's quite a weird experience." He jested, before chuckling lightly to himself as the anomaly seemed too unusual for his comprehension. "It's like a sweet little bubble in my heart ready to burst. It's a funny feeling." His body slightly shook with laughter and amusement while the girl considered the joking behaviour.

"Maybe you have cancer." She replied back earning a startled stare from the boy.

"Ah, you think?! Hahaha." Lilito trailed off with laughter at her humorous interpretation before lightly holding her cheek to direct her unfocused gaze up to hold sights with her. The boy held her (e/c) eyes in a thriving connection as his mind subconsciously forged images of much more willing and intimate expressions lining her features as all her orbs were allowed to cast their view on was him. The boy briefly smiled at the circulating imagination before laughing off his deeper regards. "You're so cute and innocent, (Y/n)." He commented with a grin, earning a perplexed look from the confused girl before his positive lips lightly relaxed in their upturned beam. "I hope you never get broken."

(Y/n) hummed in muddled confusion as the male's ambiguous and quiet wish wasn't able to fully register through the thick walls of her distracted mind. She merely earned a teasing pat on her head which seemed to irk her with the mockery behind the gesture. Glaring at the boy's dismissive manner, she frowned as he laughed off her bitter reaction.

"Well, I'm going. I need to take care of LJ and set him up for dinner. Let's go Junior!" He spoke up happily to the egg, turning his back to the benumbed female's unamused stares and skipping away with the food.

She could not find it in her better judgement to take the male seriously. With an egg in hand and an unconcerned surrogate father, her mind could not formulate the logistics behind his behaviour. Settling with giving out a content sigh, the girl took out her schedule to glance over her next duties on hand before her eyes were left wandering to try and find her following work area.

'I think I'm finished for the day...' She revealed as she glanced through her finished work to confirm her hopes. Relieving herself with the promise of retreat to her home. 'Ah, finally I was fully productive today...I guess I really do get distracted usually.' She bitterly admitted to herself before arching her back to hear her stiff spine crackle under the pressure.

The female prepared to assort her bag and head off for the rest of the day, right before her ears were assaulted by a loud scream echoing through the corridor. (Y/n) was stunned for a brief second before she ran towards the origin of the obnoxious yell to discover the cause.

Upon approaching the elongated passage from which she located the horrified yelp, the female directed her attention towards the area of which the boom resonated from. As her ears began picking up the residue of small grunts and begrudging mumbles, she immediately stopped in front of a door where she pinned onto the source of the voice. The female knocked a few times against the door before simply being responded with the same consistent muffled complaining, making her realise the person hasn't heard her.

(Y/n) sighed before pressing down on the handle to allow herself inside. Upon entering the quarters, the girl was left staring at the disheartened boy who was mourning over a lump of clay that was slowly dispersing and melting on the floor. She directed her attention back to the boy who was irritatingly looking at it. "What did you do?"

Padraig immediately straightened up his posture before heightening his spirit to fully puff out his body. "Nothing of course. If something is to go wrong, why would it be my fault?" He confidently stated before leaving the pile of decomposing clay to approach his desk where he seemed to be preoccupying himself with jotting down his ideas on paper. (Y/n) watched him for a short while before entering the room to perform her reflexes as a cleaner. "Don't touch that!" He called out before the female had a chance to properly inspect it. "I'll be using it later. Get out." Commanding the worker, (Y/n) gave him a passive glare before retracting from the lump of melting clay.

"Do you need anything before I leave, Prince Padraig?" She soured her vocals and stiffened her tone in the hopes that her request would be dismissed. Thinking for a few seconds, the boy turned towards her with a stern expression and indicated towards an area of the ceiling that faced parallel to his bed.

"At the moment no. But clean the mirror tomorrow, you've been lazily neglecting it." The girl looked to the top level of the room where she saw a mirror attached to the ceiling, directly facing the bed with its large and spacious build. (Y/n) gaped at the item in a concoction of amazement and ridicule.

'How narcissistic is this guy?! Wanting to be the first thing he sees the moment he wakes up?! I can't tell if this is a sign of insecurity or just overinflated ego...' She approached the large mirror that was bounded to the very top before glancing back at the unaware boy. Padraig remained oblivious to the biggety implication and proceeded to assort the items on his desk. "You seem a bit hung up. Is something unnerving you?" Observing the male's dithery manner as he seemed to switch his attention from performing one task only to drop it halfway through for another.

Padraig swiftly dismissed her assumption with a swish of his head that portrayed his disinterest to socialise with her. "Someone like you will never understand the struggles of someone like me." He exasperated through a frustrated breath before sitting himself down to apathetically stare at his desk.

(Y/n) internally sighed, watching the male seeming to absorb himself in his own world before approaching him. Padraig remained incognisant to her approach, right until he felt a few harsh prods against his head as they continued their poking fashion. Turning around to discover the source of the disturbance, the fidgeting finger did not cease as the female continued her action to poking his face. "It gets on my nerves how much you talk down to me. Like I'm incapable of relating to the most basic of emotions." She vexingly stated in a blunt phrasing before retracting her jabbing motions to cross her arms in defiance.

Padraig glared at her show of revolt before huffing his irritation towards her statement. "Can you honestly tell me you understand how it feels like to struggle with creating masterpieces and dealing with the prospect of losing most of your hard work?" He angrily remarked, meaning the question to remain unanswerable to the inexperienced girl.

(Y/n) kept unwavering contact with his violet eyes as her own carefully deducted the situation before coming to a response of her own. "I can't understand to that deep of an extent where your frustration lies. But, I know exactly what it feels like to struggle." Padraig's expression slightly relaxed to a small degree, holdings only a wary gaze as he watched the female stand beside him to look over his desk. "So, what's got the Prince so tangled in his drama?" She inquired, firstly being responded by reluctant silence.

Once the quiet hesitance from the male had passed, Padraig grumbled irritably under his breath, confining his annoyance only to his mind before fully regarding the girl with the full story of his irritants. "I'll tell you what has me under stress. That's damn b*****d Seok is going to be getting rid of the last of my precious creations tomorrow and I won't be able to display any more after that." The boy stood up to stride towards his window where he gloomily gazing towards the large stone formation of a God-like form standing in the centre of the front of the house. "Lith is my greatest creation yet. I spent half a year creating it and now it's going to be moved to the bottom of this compound or even completely decimated. It's the mark of my pride, everything feels so empty now that it's disappearing." The female watched him with empathetic thoughtfulness, carefully assessing his state of downfall before glancing towards his door.

"Did Gilbert take that long to make?" She questioned with curiosity.

"No." The male responded before turning away from the window after the unfortunate sight became too unbearable for him. "He took twice as long." He simply stated before finding his seat on his desk where he began rearranging his sketches and calculations into categories. (Y/n) remained surprised by the perplexing revelation before voicing out her amazement.

"He did? That must have been some time you took..." She admitted before the boy smirked in triumph.

"Nothing that I can't accomplish, of course." He haughtily remarked before proceeding to take out a book from one of his drawers. As her eyes trailed over to the publication on the table, the girl was entranced by the textured velvet cover of admiral blue colour and the hand embroidered stars and the moon that contrasted with their golden and flaxen thread. With the edges lined in a border of pure white patterns and swirls that elegantly complimented the large publishing.

"Wow, what is that?" She questioned, leaning in to gawk at the gorgeous creation before her. The boy let a snide smirk form on his lips at her impressed statement.

"It's a book describing all the constellations and some of the most amazing facts and images of the universe and stars. It's one of my most treasured gifts." He described with a flourish to his vocals as he seemed to muse over the piece with admiration, as though it were one of a kind.

The female eagerly edged in to catch a glimpse of the wonders inside. "Let me see! I want to read a bit." She impatiently demanded, fidgeting with excitement over getting a glimpse of the book's wisdom. Padraig scoffed at her hyped energy and proceeded to slowly open up the pages, increasing her expectations and hopes with every second, right before fully flipping over to a chapter inside the book.

(Y/n)'s expression dissolved into a flummoxed face of confusion as she stared at the words that were not only different to the ones she knows but were comprised of letters that seemed to belong to another civilisation. All the comprised characters had different shapes and harsh edges and lines, only recognising a mall minority amongst the foreign descriptions. She looked over to the smirking male who seemed to relish at her cluelessness and unqualification to decipher the unknown words.

"What...? This is another language." She downheartedly said, looking over to the simpering boy.

Padraig flauntingly tilted his head to the side at his own capability compared to the female's handicap. "It's Russian. Of course, you wouldn't understand it." He stated, proceeding to satisfyingly read while the female was left in the blank.

(Y/n) frustratingly glared at him before her disappointed curiosity forced her to glance towards the book in question. "You know Russian...?" She lullingly inferred as the boy chuckled at her new discovery.

"That's correct; I'm multilingual. I know how to speak 7 languages fluently, not including this one of course." He boasted at the surprised girl as he visibly seemed to expand along with his ego.

"So 8? That's convenient..." She lightly implicated at her compelled state as the male read into her impressed response.

"Изненадана ли си?" He braggingly questioned the clueless girl who could only ponder at his annunciation on the harsh edges of the letters and new sounds that came with the new accent. She gave him a dark stare right into his gushing features, feeling her self-restraint breaking under the grinding of his self-assured smile.

"Do you know sign language?" She asked back through the suffocating silence, catching the boy off guard as he looked at her with a lost expression. The girl held a raised eyebrow at him, containing any intents before she heard a response from him.

Padraig seemed to annoyingly hesitate on his answer before muttering out in a voice of cold dismissal. "Can't say it's interested me..."

"Oh." She loudly announced in a mater-of-factly manner while the boy scowled at her reaction. However, the male was unprepared for when the girl raised her index finger towards the side of her head where she briefly twirled it in a cycle before bringing her hand down to face the underside of her fist, proceeding to open her cleaned fingers and rest the cubicles of her nails against her stretched thumb to end her confirmation. The male gapes at her display in shock before the girl decides to finally leave him while she was still ahead and had her anger under control.

"Huh?! Did you just sign?!" He unintentionally shouted in confusion while the girl restrained herself from rolling her eyes.

"What do you think?" She called back, collecting her bag from the floor before proceeding to approach the door.

"W-what did you sign to me?!" Padraig loudly quizzed, more insulted than actually curious. He quickly strode over to the leaving girl who couldn't help but smile at her coveted comment.

"It's nothing insulting if that's what you're thinking." She stated as his deflated form loomed over her in a demanding manner as she opened the door to exit.

"What did you say?!" He commanded once again, managing to earn a giggle from the female, to his surprise.

"Didn't know you cared about the insignificant opinion of a common worker." She simply stated, passing through the threshold to enter the corridor. Padraig stared after her before following her out into the open. (Y/n) looked over at his irked face to give him an unamused visage. "Will you calm yourself, Prince?" She bluntly stated towards the unnerved male.

"Why do I feel like you use that ironically?" He thoughtfully observed as the girl perplexingly stared at him to figure if he was genuine with his seriousness.

"What makes you say that?" She sarcastically sounded, getting the male to cross his arms in dismissal before huffing out a scoff.

"Ugh, it doesn't matter. I don't care what you have to say! You don't know anything about me." He accusingly stated getting the female to stop in her tracks mid way of her departure and ponder over his remark.

"Hm, maybe s bit." She cautiously rebutted before glancing back at the boy, to his astonishment, revealing an aware smile. "I know you respect me more than you'd like to admit." Padraig was visually taken aback by the claim suspicious over her resolution. "I am someone who's looking after your precious home. Whether you acknowledge that or not is your business."

Padraig seemed to have a strong urge to respond to her in an outburst, only ending up in stumbling on his words while his skin began transitioning in a rosy hue, whether it was due to anger or embarrassment, the female could not figure out. "Just go already!" He swiftly retracted into his room before slamming the door behind him, separating from the female as she was left on her lonesome in the corridor to rub her forehead and ease the ache in her brain.

'What a weird boy...' She commented exhaustingly in her head, stifling a sigh before she proceeded to take a step down the corridor before a scoldingly nagging sensation stopped her while her subconscious began plucking her guilt. 'I feel like I'm forgetting something...' She wondered through her thought process of abstruse wondering before managing to collect the correct pestering reasoning. 'Should I check on Seok? I know he can get pretty distracted and unaware of his surroundings.'

The girl carefully calculated her decision in her mind, playing out her actions with winding routs before a final conclusion was made on the debate. She turned her feet around in the opposite direction and began her personally assigned task of discovering the male's state. Once she stood in front of the library doors, the girl called out for the male to alert him on her entrance before proceeding to open the door and join him.

"Seok, I'm coming in-what happened in here?!" (Y/n) became frazzled and dazed in the mind once her eyes laid upon the armies of paper birds that were threatening to take over the room. She located a curious hum to originate from the area that she had left her previous company on to see his same position on the same table in the same chair performing the same activity. "Have you just been folding paper cranes since I left? How many have you made?" She questioned, glancing around the wooden surface of the table that was overflowing with the fake creatures as they struggled on top of each other in a balance that intended to hold them securely from tipping over.

"My hands hurt..." He exhaustingly informed her, resting his unsettled limbs for the first time in hours. The girl came by his side to gently take his reddened hand and inspect the strained bones and white knuckles that were directly resulted from his hefty determination.

The girl lightly choked out a laugh at the sad but amusing sight. "Haha, a multiple of more paper cuts than there are cranes. And then you call me incompetent." She joked, beginning to lightly massage the boy's fingers and palm to bring some blood flow to his swollen veins.

Seok watched her concerned behaviour as his skin began detecting tingles transitioning from her touch. The male looked over to the girl who was actively trying to ease his tired muscles and joints. "Your hands are very soft." He freely commented on his observation while the female furrowed her brow at his light speech.

The girl soon felt an epiphany dawn as she realised the opportunist in her rippling through her decisiveness. "Seok?" She gently referred to the male in hopes of passing over her inquiry on him. "Sorry, I know it's not my place to really request something from you, but..." Trailing her words into incoherent mutters, the male was left blankly staring at her while she tried to accumulate the courage to voice out her requisition. "Could I ask you for a favour?"

(Y/n) emerged from the library in an overzealous state before turning around and wishing her goodbye to the male that remained inside. "Thank you Seok, have a good day. Good luck with the origami." She called out before pushing the door back into a closed position as she rotated back to continue on her way before she found herself entering the company of another. "Eban. Hey, how's it going?" Regarding the male who was crouching down to a lower level, the girl quickly took notice of the creature that was playing with the boy's hand before brushing its coat against his fingers. (Y/n) downheartedly looked at the scene before subconsciously feeling a small sense of jealousy at the feline's fondness towards him. "What? How do you do that, he practically hates my guts...?" She bitterly commented as the male chuckled at her clear wistfulness towards his relationship.

"We're just on good terms. Are you going already?" He questioned the girl, noticing the clear preparation in her appearance. She responded with a nod, causing the male to stand up fully to properly respond to her leave. "Well, hope you have a safe journey home then." He gave her a charmed smile while the worker reciprocated his gesture.

"Thank you, you have a nice day too." She informed him politely before glancing down towards the cat who seemed to be glaring daggers at her, swishing his tail from side to side with annoyance and impatience. "Goodbye Montique." She referred to the white ball of fur, only to be resentfully responded with a throaty growl. She returned it's mutually distasteful scowl before sighing and gliding past the feline without a second glance.

As (Y/n) tracked her wondering thoughts on the road, she was briefly stopped once she heard the boy's final words to her before she had a chance to fully depart. "Don't get distracted on your way home." She turned around to see Eban's knowing smirk dancing on the corners of his upturned lips before he left her wondering once he entered his own room before she had a chance to respond to the elusive advice.

(Y/n) hopped off the bus with a jolting sprig in her confident step as she displayed her gladsome productivity on her expression. 'This is perfect. Now I can go look after Mai which means Mikah will have time for track practice...I hope he washed the dishes like I asked him to...' Arranging the scenarios in her head over the next course of the rest of the day, the girl doubtfully depended on the male's self-control with his laziness. Exhaling with ubiquitous irritation over the unreliableness, the female glanced around, feeling her mind lift away from her body to enter suspicion outside her physical form where she seemed to be filling her mind up with the events of the ending day.

As her straying eyes glossed around her environment, she realised she was approaching the same charity shop that she had been dragged into by the hoarder at her workplace. The girl snickered to herself at the amusing memory as she prepared to pass the building, right before her eye got caught and bolted on a single item, amongst many, on the display window.

(Y/n) neared the glass wall where she dubiously recognised the product for sale, propped up on a stand amongst many secondhand objects surrounding its beauty. The female was nearly pressing her features into the transparent barrier between them as she wondered whether her eyes were deceiving her by the distraction. 'Is that...?'
