Feeling the burning of my desires

I put my hand in the fire

Trying to forget my lust, turning to pain

Being beckoned, shall I give in?

Lust is my carnal pleasure

Temptations of the flesh

Sexual fantasies overwhelm me

So powerful, may I?

Not caring about the consequence

Never ending bacchanal

I never committed adultery

Just listen to my confession

I’m only guilty of making love

I’m no saint but I’m no sinner

Sweat, skin, racing hearts

How can love be linked to damnation?

Dante’s howling winds and fire’s fingers

Won’t burn me, I’m a good girl

I was just searching for my other half

What’s so wrong with that?

Once I find “true love” I’ll stay with them forever

Will Death bring me to Paradise’s door or to the Inferno?
