There was a kingdom called Fiore. In the middle of it was a palace called Fairytail. The emperor named Bickslow was newly wedded to the now new empress. She had short platinum white hair, ocean blue eyes, and a nice figure.
Her servant was a close friend of hers from years ago, since they were little.
"Do you want me to decorate your hair empress?"
The servant said as her long messy braided blond hair slowly slide past her shoulder while bowing to the white haired girl that nodded. She sat down on her pillow that was in front of her small dresser that had a mirror on the fabric wall.
The blond combed the empress's hair before decorating it with some small apricot blossom flowers and jewelry.
"Your so beautiful my empress!"
"Oh~ how many times do I say this! You don't need to do formalities when were alone Lu-lu~!"
The blue eyed girl said she hugged her servant. Gaining a hug in return.
"Alright your high- I mean Lisanna!"
"And you are also so beautiful Lucy! But can I fix your braid? PLEASE!!! I haven't played with your hair in years!"
The browned eyed blond haired girl put her right pointer finger to her chin as she was thinking.
"Well actually it was a week ago."
She giggled as Lisanna started to pout about how she doesn't understand her sarcasm anymore. Then she started to giggle realizing that Lucy had removed her braid so she could fix it.
After Lisanna finished braiding Lucy's hair a knock was heard at the door. Lucy walked to the door and opened it to see a man with royal blue hair and a tattoo of a 'human?' on his forehead.
"Well hello Heartfilia. Is the empress ready for breakfast?"
The emperor asked as his tongue stuck out of his mouth.
"H-hello your h-highness. T-the empress is almost ready to e-eat!"
The blond studdard to say while bowing down. She didn't expect the emperor to come for the queen.
"Please tell her that I'll wait for her in the dining room. Is that alright?"
"O-of course sir!"
With that he left walking down a set of stairs that were down the hallway. She closed the door and ran to Lisanna. She combed her hair again and put the slippers on her.
"Your husband said he's waiting for you in the dining room. So let's go quickly before your food gets cold!"
Lucy said as she helped Lisanna up and lightly pulled her to the hallway. Walking down the direction were the emperor went. They continued to walk until the two doors of the dinning area came to view with guards on the sides of it. Lucy let go of the empress's hand and walked forward to them.
"Hello and how may we help you-...sis?"
A blue haired coloured man with a weird red birthmark on his face said after the longest pause he had. Him and another blond man with a scar on his face blocked the entrance with their swords.
"Hello big brother! And you too sir! I'm here with the empress Lisanna to bring her to breakfast."
"Alright."
They put their swords in their holders and let them in. Lisanna went first with Lucy behind her. She sat down on her pillow as her servant went to help the chef Mirajane carry the food.
"Thanks Lucy!"
"You don't have to thank me Mira!"
......
In the outskirts of the kingdom a war was happening. Swords, katanas, and other weapons were being used to kill the other off. A man with raven coloured hair was being pushed down by a tall, 'fluffy' man. A sword went through the tall guys chest piercing his heart. Blood was coughed up and landing on the dirt, making it into a darker colour. He looked down to see the sharp object that caused the pain. The sword was pulled out from the back, making the bleeding man fall down holding on wound which didn't help much since he died seconds later.
"Gray! Can't you be more careful! If you can't take on big enemies then don't try!"
A scarlet coloured women said slicing another man's throat who was a foot away from her.
"Yeah yeah! I know! You don't have to tell me twice!"
She turned around to see an enemy behind Gray.
"Look out! Behind you!"
She yelled blocking a hit from someone in front of her. Gray turned around to see a sword two inches from his face until the guy in front of him had his head cut off. Blood landing on the pinked haired commander behind the body.
"Do you need to go back to training with Erza again frosty?!"
The pinkenette yelled with his sword colliding with a dagger from being thrown to his chest.
"I almost had him ash for brains!"
Also yelled the raven coloured haired man.
"Yeah!? It's not like the sword was less than a foot away from your face stripper!!!"
"Tch!"
Gray glared at the pinkette. Earning a chuckle from an older looming orange haired man that was fighting next to them.
"They never change."
......
Back in to the palace, the empress and emperor were sent to their champers. Lisanna told Lucy that she was going to take a nap. So Lucy decided to walk around so she could get familiar to the area. Since both her and the empress just recently moved into the palace. Before the wedding had came, Lucy lived in a small cottage close to town where she met Lisanna at a young age. Ever since their encounter they visited each other everyday. One day would be at Lucy's, then the other at Lisanna's. She told Lucy how her adoptive older sister was the cook and her older brother one of the farmers of the kingdom.
Since Lisanna told Lucy about herself Lucy did the same. She talked about how she was founded by Jellal and became sister and brother after spending time with him. Meeting Erza three years later.
Lucy and Lisanna always had one thing in common which was that they both wanted a big family. Dads, moms, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and more. But they were orphans. Nothing of family or relatives. It turned out to be a coincidence that Lisanna found two other orphans that looked like her. Their names were Mirajane and Elfman. But there was one thing they both knew. And that was their last names.
Lisanna Strauss
And
Lucy Heartfilia
They had each other's backs. Well, until Lisanna got married. She knew once she married the emperor, she had to stay in the palace. And leaving Lucy behind was not an option. She begged her husband before her wedding for her friend to stay at the palace with the others. After a long conversation he agreed.
And that's how Lucy ended up as her best friend's servant.
......
Blood and bodies are spread around the ground. The whole Fairytail army was alive but lots were severely hurt. Everyone was cheering about their victory as they headed home. Not caring the wounds they had. The man with pink hair behind everyone, making sure none of them go back to the battlefield where the vultures are eating. It was going to take at least three days to go back to the kingdom if they don't have breaks, and that was impossible. All the soldiers were marching and singing for the party they were gonna have when they return home.
The scarlet longed haired woman with armor walked to him. Her sword in her holder hitting her thigh as she walked.
"You do know that no one's gonna go back there."
"I know that."
His onyx eyes looking at all his soldiers. Seeing the confidence their faces had from the beginning till the end of the war. He felt a stare from next to him.
"What is it Erza?"
"I'm just wondering..."
"About what?"
He asked turning his head to her. Her hair was being tied up as she tied it tight with some fabric.
"When are you gonna meet someone? Your not going to live lonely and miserable your whole life!"
He sighed.
"Erza I'm only 26. Plus, why would I try to meet someone when they're certainly scared of me."
He finished off turning his head to the front. Erza sighed. She was worried about him. She didn't want him to be all alone his whole life. Sadly, he never took interest to any girl she introduced him to. The pinkenette and Gray are like little brothers to her. She already got Gray dating a beautiful blue haired and eyed girl named Juvia Lockser. Even though she seems nice and talks in third person, she gets extremely jealous when she sees a girl close to her Gray-sama~.
All Erza was missing was onyx eyed one. Even though he looks tall, strong, and tough on the outside, doesn't mean he is on the inside. If you get to know him and have his trust, you can totally see the difference. And that's not what people usually want of him. He always puts a cold and threatening face. Even when his indoors he doesn't know he does it all the time anymore. Just like how Gray loses his clothes and only finds out about it when someone tells him.
Man on the outside, but a 9 year old kid at heart.
The pinkenette yelled to the whole army to a stop and set up camp since it became dark.
After everyone ate and went to their tents, the pinkenette walked around looking at all the surroundings. He thought of what Erza said. He then started to rub his head in pain.
"Thinking hurts to much."
Hours have past. You could hear all the snoring and sleep talkers stop making noises and get out of their tents.
"Erza might be right. I don't wanna live alone. Maybe I'll meet the one soon."
He said before heading down the hill. An old orange coloured hair man came to the commander. His black cape gently touched the ground as he walked. His metal arm shining as the rising sun came into view.
"So which direction are we going Natsu?"
The commander looked up to the sky, using the sun as his compass.
"Well be taking the Northwest path. And since we are taking it, Gildarts, I want you to be in the front."
"Is it because I know the way?"
Gildarts said with a smirk on his face.
"No. It's because you can explain to the farmers why were going through their crops."
Gildarts nodded and headed to the front of all soldiers. Someone came close to the commander. He was dressed in black clothing with red linings. A hood was replaced with long green hair as he pulled it down. Handing Natsu a note that had a stamp from one of the guards at the palace.
"Who sent this one Freed."
Natsu said as he opened the letter.
"Fernandez sent the letter sir! He looked rather stressed when he told me to give it to you urgently!"
Freed said with a raspy voice.
"You sound tired. Were you heading here all night?"
Natsu said as he looked over to Freed. Seeing dark circles under his eyes.
"Yes sir! The letter was supposed to be here yesterday but I fell asleep on a tree. Not my best sleeping schedule."
He said scratching his neck.
"Alright. You can go home for the next three days Freed."
Natsu said after reading the letter. Freed nodded and left. Natsu went ahead and walked with his army.
......
Hours have past and it had became sundown. Lucy visited almost the whole palace. The kitchen, the warriors rooms; which she helped clean, dining hall, the doctor's room, court room, her brother's secret stash of Erza portraits room; couldn't help laughing at her brother afterwords, weaponry, wash buckets, and the two temples for worshipping. She was amazed at everything and loves everyone here. She decided she'll visit the rest of the palace the next day. Lucy remembers that she and Lisanna have a curfew. She ran to Lisanna's room and knocked on the thin wood door. Lisanna opened the door.
"Sorry I'm late! I didn't know what time it was!"
Lucy said panicking as she bowed.
"It's alright Lucy. Comeon! Get inside before it gets cold!"
She said before pulling Lucy inside. Lucy got to work on fixing the empress's bed. She helped Lisanna change into her nightgown. After putting Lisanna to sleep with a song, Lucy sneaked out of the room and headed to her sleeping chamber that was in another building. She put her hands behind her back. A voice was heard behind her.
"Excuse Juvia but who are you?"
