Consequences

The Serpent's Teeth:
His Desires

Consequences

Haylee

Haylee noticed vaguely, as The Dark Lord stood up after some time, got dressed and Apparated.
"Bloody hell!" She exclaimed.
Tears ran down her flushed cheeks.
It couldn't have gone worse!
It wasn't supposed to have ended like this!
"Damn!"
Actually, she should have killed him now, but she still couldn't see herself as a murderer.
She had imagined it quite differently!
Haylee wiped her tears away with a helpless gesture.
It was not bad, but that precisely that was the problem; she enjoyed it!
But what perhaps was even worse, the Dark Lord had now probably lost interest in her and, she would never be able to help her siblings.

Haylee felt miserable.
It was over, everything was over...
****

The next morning, Haylee woke up exhausted and with a slight headache.
She couldn't recall at what time she had fallen asleep.
She absentmindedly pulled something on, quickly brushed her hair and then tied it to a simple ponytail.

Alexander

Alexander threw Haylee a quizzical look as she entered the living room- to which she replied angrily, so he restrained himself.
Haylee was not really angry often, but when she was, then you had to be very careful.
Merely speaking to her while she was in this state could be dangerous.
****
Around noon, the mood of his sister still had not improved, and when the four siblings sat down at the table to eat, Alexander started to speak: "Today we are invited to the Notts."
"I'm not in the mood." Haylee replied gruffly.
I noticed thought Alexander but was not deterred.
"All the these meetings are so unnecessary."
"Not everyone will be there today... But there is more..." He broke off.
"What is it?"
"I can think of no words to describe it. But it's best if you come."
"That's so mean!" Kathy snapped.
"You are always invited somewhere, and I can never go with!"
"I'd like to see Notts face if you showed up with Kathy," Haylee said.
The little girl blushed.
"You're mean," she rasped.
"However."
"You have to attend Haylee," repeated Alexander. "It is required."
"Who does he think that he is!"

He winced.

Alexander had suspected that it would come to this- and it frightened him.
Haylee was not like him.
He had no illusions about who of them was the  stronger one, and saw that his sister had more courage than he.
He could read it in the eyes of the other Death Eaters. Above all, Lucius Malfoy...
Only Snape, strangely seemed to be well-disposed towards him.
Last time Snape had gotten hit by a curse that was actually intended for him.
He still wondered why he had done that ...
"I'm not going!"
"Haylee, please."
"No!"
"He won't like that."
"I don't care!"
"Think, Hayle, think about on whom he would let his frustration out!" He implored, and saw a flash a spark in her gray-blue eyes.
"Fine," she said finally.
****

Haylee

The mood was tense from the beginning.

Haylee realized that only the Death Eaters of the "inner circle" as she always called them, were present.
This of course included Nott, Malfoy, Snape, but also the Lestranges.
Haylee and Bellatrix had sat down as far away as possible from each other, and have never been better at ignoring each other, which was mainly due to Haylee's foul mood.
The first part of the evening went quite well, because the young woman wasn't particularly interested in talking about the her dear cousin, and instead indulged herself with her gloomy thoughts.
But peace cannot last forever.

"... Then one should start by not reading Muggle books," came Bellatrix's voice suddenly.
Maybe Haylee would have ignored this criticism in other circumstances, or simply put her cousin in her place with words, but because she was already in a really bad mood, she jumped up.
"What are you trying to say?"
"Are you feeling addressed Haylee?" Bellatrix asked with a sneer.

Without thinking Haylee unwielded her wand and the Bellatrix did the same.
"Haylee!" Hissed Alexander, but she simply ignored him.
"You can still apologise for what you said Bella." Haylee hissed in a threatening tone.
"Did you all hear that?!"
"Afraid, sweetheart?"
"Expelliarmus!" The black haired Witch shouted so suddenly, that Haylee only became aware of the spell as she lay on the ground, with her wand still firmly clasped in her right hand.

"You want to play?" Haylee asked dangerously low, as she straightened herself up.
"As you wish."
The two Witches took one step back.
Bellatrix hurled yet another spell at Haylees direction, however the redhead deflected it without effort, and before her opponent could started a new attack, she shouted, "Serpensortia!" A serpent appeared, which Bellatrix eyed with amusement.
But then Haylee did something which was probably the only reason why she had been sorted into Slytherin.
It was a gift which she had inherited from her father as the only one of her siblings.
She whispered something to the snake, which in turn made the navy green reptile wriggle towards Bellatrix.
Some were surprised at her ability, some confused, and still others completely confused and overwhelmed, including Bellatrix.
Thus the young woman began to mutter her last spell: "Petrificus Totalus!"
Her opponent fell to the ground with a thud.
Moments went by and yet no one moved, not a single soul moved to aid Bellatrix.
Haylee approached the frozen Witch with slow steps, leaned down and said: "This is called tactical diversion. A bit of Muggle literature wouldn't harm you."
And with those last words she left the room.
All eyes followed Haylee as she closed the door behind her, and so nobody noticed as the snake made its way out the slightly ajar window.
***
That was another one of those typical days when everything went wrong!

Haylee looked in the mirror, and gently dabbed the small wound at the right corner of her mouth with water. It did not hurt particularly, only when she smiled.
But since she had no reason to smile...
Someone knocked on the door.
"Come in!"
Tim walked into the room and eyed his sister.
"What's wrong?" She asked and went back to her scar.
"There's someone who wants to see you."
"Who?"
"Snape, you know, the one who told Lestrange to..."
"Yeah, I know." Haylee stood up.
"Then please tell him-"
"That will not be necessary." Snape appeared behind Tim.
"Would you please leave us, Tim."
Her brother nodded, although Haylee saw that he would have preferred to stay there.
"What can I do for you?" She wanted to know as soon as her brother was gone.
"The question is rather, what I can do for you," said Snape.
"What do you think?"
"I just came to let you know that now everyone knows of your... er ... small confrontation with Bellatrix."
"I thought so. But sit down." She pointed to an armchair next to the window.
"I prefer to stand."
"As you wish."
They were silent in for a while.
"Anything else?", Haylee asked, and reached again for a handkerchief to dab the blood away.
"Here." Snape handed her a bottle with a clear liquid. "For..." He pointed in the direction of her face.
"Thank you." Her hand briefly brushed against his, as he handed her the potion.
"I should go back. Goodbye."
"Goodbye, Severus."
She stared after him.

Tom

Snakes are not stupid creatures that the Dark Lord knew only too well, but how this one had managed to find its way to him was an enigma.
What the snake told him was indeed interesting.
A slight smile tugged at the Dark Lord's lips.
"Remarkable," he muttered, thinking back to this gray-blue eyes.
A strange thought occurred to him, but he immediately repressed it again, but this was no use.
"Why not?" He said to himself.
He was Voldemort and didn't need to justify himself to anybody.
He absently ran his fingers over Naginis flaking skin impatiently waiting for nightfall.

Haylee

Haylee had waited the rest of the day on news of the Dark Lord, she spent hours in the purest sense of chaos.
She gently touched her wound again, she had not dealt with the potion, because otherwise she would have probably spent her time thinking about Snape.
With a Muggle book, which she had read- without understanding even a single word, tucked under her right arm, Haylee walked into the darkness of her bedroom.
She put the book on her desk and began to undress.
From pure impulse, she began to sing softly: "Where are you going black prince? Why do you not stay here? I've felt so safe in your arms. And I felt a desire to rid myself of all, as a black bird, proud and alone. Yes, I know that you're death and all fear you, but I always think of you when-" Suddenly the candles flared and Haylee froze. But she did not need to turn around to know who was behind her.
She became aware of her nakedness, but undertook nothing against it.
"Good evening," she said without turning around. "I suppose that you have heard of my little quarrel with Bellatrix?" Instead of answering, he pushed her hair over her shoulder and ran his fingers over her bare neck.

Haylee's spirits went through the roof with that simple gesture.
She had him!
Smiling slightly, she turned around.
Since she had the habit of lifting the right corner of her mouth higher than then the left, the wound ripped open again, and a little blood ran down her pale skin, but she paid no attention to it.
Haylee slowly made her way back to the bed, seductively swaying her hips for good measure and sat on it with an eloquent look.
Then she reached her hand out to him- momentarily confused by the conflicted look on his handsome features.
But it must have been her mind playing tricks on her, because the next second he was on top of her- his hand stroking her breast.

Haylee sighed softly and pushed her hips against him.
He understood the invitation.

It was strange... but before she could think what she was doing Haylee reached out a hand to his face and ran her fingers across his cheek.
His movements inside her left her in a blurred reality and it was perfect, it didn't matter who he was, who she was.
His mouth moved over her narrow shoulder, up her neck, to her chin.
I must be going mad, Haylee thought even as she felt his lips at her mouth.
He had licked the blood of her lips almost tenderly. When he repeated this process again and came near her mouth, she turned her head slightly.
All or nothing, she heard a voice in her mind, their lips had barely touched for a second, her as he jerked his head and stared at her almost horrified.
Haylee had no time to think about it, because a wave of passion reared up inside her, reached its peak, and then it broke.
A low moan escaped her throat before she fell into pleasant dream...
