Betty woke up the next day still in her clothes from the night before; suddenly everything came back to her, pollys anniversary, jughead coming round and watching movies. Where was he? He must of left when she fell asleep. She groaned and rolled over, where she was met with a note:

Good morning sleeping beauty,
You fell asleep so I left you in peace!
I'll talk to you later!
Love jug x
Ps. We're having breakfast at pops at 10am if you want to join us.

Betty smiled and looked at time time. 9:30am. She got up and got dressed, deciding she'll take up his offer of breakfast. She looked in the mirror and she didn't look great, her face was pale and has dark bags underneath from all the stress lately and she'd woken up with a pounding headache but she was to excited to see jughead to care.

When she was ready she made her way to pops it was around 10:15 so she wasn't surprised when she saw jughead, fangs, sweetpea and Toni in a booth. "Betts!" Jug grinned when he saw her and pulled her down into the booth. "Hey guys" she smiled. "Hi" "Hey Betty" "hello" the other three smiled and greeted their newest friend. "You okay betts? You look a bit pale?" Jug asked her when everyone else was talking. "I have a bit of a headache" she said and smiled up at him. "If it gets worse let me know and I'll take you home" he exclaimed before turning back to his friends; Betty wondered when she got so lucky to have four new people who care about her.

Throughout breakfast, Betty starting to feel worse and worse and came to the conclusion she was sick; not wanting to draw attention to herself she excused herself to go to the bathroom. When she got into the bathroom she held the sink for support when she felt dizzy and tried to ignore the throbbing in her head and churning in her stomach. The next thing she knew Toni was by her side and looking concerned. "You okay?" She asked. "I'm fine just feel a bit sick" Betty replied. "Maybe we should get you home Betts" Toni said. "I'll be fine. Come on let's get back to the others" Betty said and did her best to pull herself together and back into the diner. Jughead instantly spotted Betty and frowned when he noticed her appearance. She was pale and her eyes were red rimmed and her forehead had sweat on it; she was beautiful of Course but she didn't look good. He shot out of his seat and rushed over to her and held her waist so she didn't fall in her weak state. "You okay betts?" He asked and she just nodded. "She's sick you should take her home" Toni said. "Yeah okay come on" he said as he grabbed their things. "Feel better betts" "hope you're okay" "call if you need anything!" The other's Said as jughead lead them to his truck.

Back at Betty's, jughead had tucked her up into bed after she changed into her pyjamas and placed a bucket by her bed incase she was sick. "I'll make you some super later but I think you Should rest first" he said with a smile and he sat on the bed next to where she was laying down and he started typing on his laptop. "You really don't have to be here. I can call Kevin to come over" she groaned and he placed a cold cloth on her forehead to try and relieve her headache. "I want to be here betts" he smiled at her. "Thank you" she said sleepily. "It's okay" he said and squeezed her hand and she managed a small smile in response. "You know, if You weren't so sick... I'd totally kiss you right now" he said as he stated into her green eyes. "You would?" She said with a small sleepy smile. "I would" he stated. "I'll remember that when I'm better then" she said before she fell asleep.
