After Betty was discharged, they all piled into FPs truck and drove to Betty's house. Jughead helped Betty out the truck and lead her upstairs where he helped her into some pyjamas and then tucked her into bed. "You get some sleep baby okay?" Jug said, stroking the hair from her face. "I don't want to be a burden juggie" Betty said, sleepily. "Baby, you're not a burden, I love you and so does my dad, so we're going to stay here and look after you" he said. "Mmm love you" Betty mumbled, before falling asleep. Jughead stayed with her for a few moments before he kissed her head and walked downstairs to be with the others. "Is she asleep?" Toni asked and he nodded. "Im going to go and grab some things for us from the trailer then I'll be back later" FP explained and jughead nodded. "Okay dad, see you later!" Jug said as FP left Betty's house. "God... poor Betty" fangs sighed. "I know, we need to make sure she becomes less stressed because I don't want this to happen again" jug said.

A few hours later, everyone had gone home and FP and jughead were sat on the couch, watching tv when Betty came down the stairs. "Hey baby" jug smiled, as he sat next to him and snuggled into his side. "How are you feeling darling?" FP asked. "I feel okay" betty shrugged. "I just have a headache" she added. "I'll get you some water" jug said and stood up, going into the kitchen. "I really appreciate you guys staying here mr Jones" Betty said. "Betty, it's FP" FP laughed. "And it's not a problem, I consider you family, and you deserve people looking after you, you're not alone anymore" he said, and he was so sincere it made Betty want to cry. "Thank you..." she said, her voice choked up. "Here you go betts" jug said, Coming back over and handing her a glass of water. "Thanks juggie" she said, gratefully as she took a sip. "Let me show you to your room FP, so you can unpack" Betty said, as she lead them both up the stairs. Jughead placed his stuff into Betty's room, as Betty directed FP to a spare room. "Thank you Betty" FP smiled. "You're welcome"  Betty smiled. "I think I'm going to go and rest for a while" Betty added. "Okay darling, I'll go and make dinner" FP said, pulling the blonde in for a hug. When FP went downstairs, Betty found jughead lounging on her bed. She smiled and climbed onto the bed next to him, rolling onto her side so her face was in his chest. "You really scared me betts" jug admitted, wrapping his arms around her. "I'm sorry" Betty whispered. "I know, you're used to being on your own but you're not anymore and you never will be, you are not a burden and when things get hard for you, not matter how much you feel like you don't want to talk to us, you need to baby" he told her. "You've been too stressed out lately and it's not good for you, look what happened... I love you so much and it hurts to see you like this" he said and betty has tears falling down her cheeks. "I'm really sorry juggie" she cried. "Don't apologise betts, just promise me you'll take more care of yourself?" He said and she nodded. "I promise" she said and jug smiled and wiped her tears, before pulling her closer and kissing her softly...

Later, the three of them were sat around the dining table, eating the dinner that FP had made. "This is so good FP" Betty praised. "I agree" jughead spoke through a mouthful of food, making Betty giggle. "Thanks guys" FP smiled. "I like this" Betty said and the Jones men looked at her to continue. "I don't remember I had someone else cook me a meal... or had a family dinner" she exclaimed. She didn't notice the sad eyes that were looking at her, but her head snapped up when jughead took her hand over the table. "Get used to it baby, because we have a lot more family dinners in our future" he grinned and Betty's smile lit up the room. "I can't wait" she smiled, and for the first time in a long time, she was finally hopeful about the future.
