"BETTY!" Jughead yelled as he tried to reach his falling girlfriend, but he didn't get there in time and she collapsed against the hard floor. He was about to pick her up but was cut off by Toni's "NO!" She shouted. "She's having a seizure" she yelled and only then did jughead break out of his panic and see his girlfriend who was convulsing on the ground. "Okay..okay.." jug said, snapping into action. He dropped to the ground next to her and then held her head so she didn't hurt herself. "Fangs call an ambulance, Sweetpea go and find a teacher" he ordered and the boys rushed to do what they were asked. "How long will this last?" Toni asked, scared for the blonde. "I don't know, they normally don't last long" jug said, tears in his eyes. Suddenly Sweetpea came rushing back in, mr weatherbee and another teacher in tow. Betty stopped seizing and seemed unconscious. "Don't move her, we need to wait for the ambulance" mr weatherbee explained. When the ambulance arrived, everything seemed like a blur, they surrounded Betty and were attaching wires to her, before loading her onto a stretcher and taking her into the back of the ambulance. "Will anyone be riding with her?" One of the paramedics asked, as he secured Betty in the ambulance. "I will" jughead said. "Are you her boyfriend?" The paramedic asked and jughead nodded. "We'll meet you there jug!" Fangs said and then the ambulance door was closed.

By the time the others got to the hospital, Betty had been taken into a room to have some tests and jughead was pacing the waiting room. "Jug!" His friends called. "How is she?" Sweetpea asked. "They said she was going to be fine, but I haven't been able to see her yet" jughead informed. "We called your dad, we thought they might need an adult here or they won't tell us anything" Toni said and jughead nodded. "Thank you" he said. "JUG!" Jughead heard and whipped around and saw his dad rush into the waiting room. "Dad!" Jug said, and embraced his dad. "What happened? Is she okay?" FP asked. "She had a Seizure, we haven't heard much else" jug sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "I'll see if I can find anything out" FP said and walked over to the reception desk to find out any information on Betty.

After another hour of restless waiting, a doctor came out. "Is anyone here for Elizabeth Cooper?" He asked and everyone stood up. "Yes!" Jug said. "Well, she's going to be fine" the doctor started and everyone let out a sigh of relief. "We're running some more tests, but I'm almost certain that her seizure was brought on by stress" he exclaimed and jugheads eyes widened; he knew she was getting too stressed but he didn't think it would cause this. "Can I see her?" Jug asked. "Yes, she's in room 107" he said. I'll be in, in a few moments after I write my notes up" the doctor added and the others went to her room. When jughead walked in, he saw Betty laying in the hospital bed, asleep. He walked over, and took her hand. "Baby?" He said, gently. He brushed his finger against her cheek and her eyes fluttered open. "That's it, wake up betts" he spoke. "Juggie..." Betty mumbled, her throat feeling dry. "I'm here baby" he assured. "Mmm where am I?" She groaned, looking around. "In the hospital, you had a seizure" he told her and he watched as fear filled her eyes. "You're okay. It was caused by stress" he said. "Oh.." she whispered, and guilt settled on her face. "Hey" jug said, and she looked at him. "I know what you're thinking, but you're going to be okay" he started. "You just need to look after yourself" he told her and she nodded. Jug just smiled and bent down to place a soft kiss on her lips. "Can I get you anything?" He asked. "Can I have some water?" She asked and he nodded. "Of course! I'll go and get some and send the others in" he smiled.

After everyone had seen Betty and the doctor had come back to check on her, everyone was sat in Betty's room. "How you feeling girl?" Toni asked. "Tired" Betty yawned. "You can get some sleep soon gorgeous, we're just waiting to see if you can be discharged" jug told her, squeezing her hand. Just then, the doctor walked back in with some forms. "You can be discharged" he smiled. "I just need you to fill out these forms" he said, handing Betty a clipboard. Betty nodded and started filling them out. "Now, I just need your parent or guardian to sign these..." the doctor said and everyone stopped and looked at each other. "Erm.. I don't have.. my parent's..." Betty started but her voice was choked up. "Oh, Im afraid I can't release you then" the doctor explained. "I can be her guardian" FP spoke up. "Are you sure?" The doctor asked. "Of course! Betty can stay with us, or we can stay with her until she feels better" FP said, smiling at Betty. "Okay then!" The doctor said, pleased and left them too it. "FP.. you don't have to go that" Betty said quietly. "Betty, you've been dealt a bad hand in life, and you deserve people around you who cares about you, and we do" FP started. "You're part of our family now, so please let us look after you".
