"What's cooking good looking?" Jughead smirked when he sat down at the counter at pops. "Juggiee" Betty whined. "I'm not the chef I'm just a waitress" she smiled. "Maybe so... but you're still good looking" he smirked and laughed when she rolled her eyes. "Is there a reason you're here? Or did you come to just annoy me?" She teased. "I came to see my girl" he said and it made her heart burst every time he called her his girl. "And...I was hungry" he grinned. "Do you want your usual?" She asked, already writing it down. "Yes please" he said and watched as he went into the kitchen to hand in his order. "You're the best!" He called after her. After a while Betty came back over. "Food for my favourite customer" Betty smiled as he handed jughead his burger. "Thanks baby" he smiled. "Keep me company?" He asked and watched as Betty looked around and saw there was no new customers. "I can stay for five minutes" she smiled. "Did you have a good day today?" He asked, they hadn't seen much of each other that day at school. "It was okay" she shrugged. "I was just working on my blue and gold article" she added. "Did you have a good day?" She asked. "I did, this is definitely my favourite part of my day" he grinned and she smiled. "Betty next Order!" She heard pop call. "Work calls" she smiled and pecked his cheek before heading off into the kitchen.

"So betts, What are we doing now?" Jughead asked, when Betty's shift was over. "I need to go grocery shopping" she said, pulling her coat on over her yellow waitress uniform. "Okay let's go" he said, grabbing her hand. When they arrived at the grocery store Betty pulled out her notebook that her shopping list in. "Okay, we need to get everything on this list" she told him and he nodded. They walked around the store, grabbing everything on the list. "Okay I just want to grab some baking things" she told him and pulled him to the baking aisle. "You bake?" Jughead grinned. "Yep" she smiled. "What's your favourite thing to bake?" He asked. "Cupcakes" she smiled. "I might bake on Friday if you want to come over?" She said and jughead nodded. "Oh wait! We have parent teacher conference on Friday" he sighed. "You might but I don't" she said, quietly and jughead watched as her mood dropped from happy to sad and she started to close herself off. "Betts... you can still go you know? My dad can take both of us" jughead suggested and she shook her head. "Don't worry about it. I don't want to go anyway, I know That I'm doing good in school so it doesn't matter" she said and he saw how she didn't want to talk about it anymore so he dropped the subject and they carried on shopping.

When Friday rolled around, Betty, Jughead and the others were in the blue and gold after school just waiting for Betty to finish up some work. "What time does your shift at pops start B?" Toni asked. "In about an hour" Betty said, packing her stuff up. "I love that you work there... we get food faster" Sweetpea grinned and the others laughed. "Are you ready to go betts?" Jughead asked and Betty nodded. "Yeah let's go" she said and they all made their way to pops. When they got there, fangs, Sweetpea, Toni and jughead went to sit in a booth while Betty went to change into her uniform. "Do you think she'll be okay, while we're all at the parent teacher conference?" Fangs asked. "I don't know..." jughead sighed but before they could say anything else Betty came over. "Okay! What can I get you guys!" She chirped. "Our usuals please betts" jughead smiled and Betty nodded and scribbled down their orders. "Be right back!" She grinned and skipped into the kitchens.

After they had eaten they all had to get back to the school so they said goodbye to Betty. "I'll see you later okay?" Jug smiled when he kissed her goodbye. "Yeah. Bye" she smiled and watched as they left, she sighed and turned back to wiping down the tables. When jughead go to riverdale high, he met his dad outside. "Okay which class is first?" FP asked. "Chemistry" jughead said and lead his dad to his classroom. It was going well, jughead was doing well in school and staying out of trouble, although some of his teachers were a bit nervous talking to FP, considering he was the serpent king. The last class they had to go to was English. "Mr Jones, is an amazing student, he excels at English" the teacher started. "I have no doubt he has a bright future" she said and jughead and FP Couldn't help but grin at that. "Now, I do have a concern... I see you hang around with Elizabeth cooper a lot..." she started and jughead frowned. "The school have been trying to help her out, get her therapy or even talk to the guidance counsellor... she's been through too much and it would be beneficial for her to talk to a professional" she added. "So... is there anyway you could convince her to speak to the guidance counsellor?".
