Jughead was pretty sure that he had broken every law trying to get to the hospital, but he didn't care because all he knew was his girlfriend was at the hospital and he didn't know why. When the boys arrived they spotted Toni right away and rushed over. "What happened?! Where's Betty?! Is she okay?!" Jug asked, frantically. "She's getting checked out by a doctor" Toni informed them. "What happened?!" Sweetpea asked. "I don't know! I got to her house and she wouldn't look at me and then she did and... her face was all bruised and she had a nasty deep cut on her face" Toni started. "It was deep and needed stitches so we came here, she wasn't happy about it and didn't want to come but I brought her anyway and I haven't seen her since they took her to look over her and I don't know what happened" Toni said. "Did it look like Someone had hurt her?" Fangs asked, concerned. "Yeah..." Toni admitted. "I'll kill them!" Jughead seethed but before anyone could do anything a doctor came out. "Are you when Elizabeth cooper?" He asked. "Yeah, is she okay?" Jughead asked and the doctor nodded. "Yeah, you can go in, I'll be in, in a Moment to do her stitches and she needs to sign some forms" he said and the others nodded before running into her room. They stopped short when they saw her sat on the bed, holding a bloody cloth to her face. "Betts..." jug whispered and her head snapped in their direction before she burst into tears. Jughead was quick to wrap her up in his arms and hold her. "Shh, I've got you betts, I'm here baby" he said, whispering comforting words in her ears. "What happened?" Fangs asked. "I don't want to talk about it..." Betty mumbled and before the others could press the issue, the doctor walked in to perform Betty's stitches. "Okay Elizabeth, because your cut is quite deep and big, you'll need twelve stitches" the doctor said, getting everything ready and moving to stand in front of Betty. "It will hurt, I'm sorry" he said and Betty closed her eyes and winced as the doctor cleaned the cut and started the first cut. It hurt jughead to watch Betty in pain and moved to her side and held her hand, letting her squeeze it to help with the pain. "You're doing really well baby" jug said softly, placing kisses on her head, to try and keep her calm. After a while then doctor pulled back and took his gloves off. "And I'm done!" He smiled. "Thank god" Betty groaned and the doctor laughed. "Okay So, you cant get them wet for 24 hours and you need to rest because you'll be in pain" the doctor started. "I'll write you a prescription for some medication to help with the pain and you need to take it in the morning and evening" he added. "If they start to really hurt or become infected you need to come back okay?" He said and Betty nodded. "Okay. Here's some forms you need to sign, then you can go" he said and handed her a clipboard before Leaving the room, leaving Betty with four confused and concerned faces. "Betts? What happened? You need to tell us" jughead said, leaving no room for debate and Betty sighed. "It... they.." she mumbled. "They cornered me after school" Betty said, looking at the papers she was signing. "Who did?" Jug asked, trying to keep calm. "Does it matter?" Betty asked. "Yes!" The others said. "Reggie, Cheryl and chuck" Betty whispered. "I'll kill them!" Jughead yelled and started pacing the room. Betty put her head in her hands and started crying. "Jughead! Not now!" Toni said and went to hug Betty. Jughead realised that now wasn't the time to be angry and hugged Betty close to his chest. "Baby, I need you to tell us exactly what happened" Jug said softly and Betty nodded before telling them everything.

"I'm sorry about girls night" Betty sighed as all of them made their way into Betty's house after she was discharged. "It's okay B, we can have one next week" Toni smiled. "All that matters is you're okay" Toni smiled. "How about you all sleep over?" Betty suggested. "Are you sure?" Sweetpea asked. "Sure! I have enough room..." Betty shrugged and gestured around to the house she lives alone in; she didn't notice the sad looks the others were giving her when she said that. "Of course we'll stay over" fangs smiled. "I'll Order us all pizza" jughead said and pulled his phone out. "I'm just going to change out these clothes" Betty said and went up to her room. She put her pyjamas on and then just sat on her window seat, staring out the window. "Can I come in?" She heard jughead say and saw him standing in the doorway. She nodded and he walked over to her and sat in front of her and pulled her onto his lap. "I'm sorry this happened to you" he whispered. "It's nothing new" she shrugged and she heard him sigh. "I hate that" he said. "You know I'm going to kill chuck for laying his hands on you?" He said. "It's not worth it juggie" she sighed, resting her head on his chest. "Maybe... But you're worth everything" he admitted.
