It was finally Friday and Betty couldn't wait for the weekend. Her and Toni were having a sleepover that evening and Betty was really excited. She pulled herself out of bed and into the shower so she could get ready for school. Jughead hadn't slept over since the time before but she knew he couldn't stay over every day. After getting dressed into her skirt and jumper, she made her way downstairs and out the house.

When Betty got to school, she went straight to the blue and fold and started working on her latest article. She didn't know how long she was working for but she was interrupted by jughead and fangs walking in. "Hey guys" she smiled. "Hey betts" fangs grinned and flopped down on the couch. "Good morning babe" Jug said and kissed her softly. "What are you doing here?" She asked. "We were grabbing breakfast and I know you probably didn't have any because you wanted to come here early... am I right?" Jug smirked and Betty giggled and nodded. "Thought So" he laughed and handed her a takeout bag. "And that's why I brought you breakfast" he smiled. "Thank you juggie" she smiled and pecked his lips before taking out the croissant he'd brought her. "So Toni's excited for your girls night" fangs spoke up. "Me too!" Betty grinned. The three of them all chatted and ate until the bell went. "Oh babe! I forgot to say" jug started as they were leaving the blue and gold. "I have to help my dad after school so I won't be able to see you after school, and then Toni will be over" he sighed. "Oh, that's okay juggie, I'll call you?" She smiled and he nodded. "I'll see you at lunch" he smiled and pecked her lips before they went to their classes.

The school day went quite fast and just as Betty was about to go home she was cornered in the hallway by Reggie, chuck and Cheryl. "Where you going loser?" Reggie teased. Betty rolled her eyes and tried to walk away but Cheryl grabbed her hair and pulled her back, causing Betty to yelp in pain. "Don't walk away from us! You bitch!" Chuck yelled at her and pushed her into the lockers, her head hitting off it. Tears were falling down her face but she managed to hold herself up. "You haven't got your Serpents here to protect you now" Cheryl taunted. "They will soon see you for what you are.. a stupid, ugly loser" Reggie smirked. "Now run along to mommy and daddy... oh wait.." chuck laughed. "Leave me alone!" Betty cried but was shut up by chucks hand against her face. He had hit her. Betty reeled back and didn't look back before running away.

When she was finally safe and at home she fell to the ground, sobbing. Her phone buzzed and she saw It was jughead but didn't answer; she didn't want him to know, she didn't want to burden him with this. She pulled herself up and changed out of clothes, she saw the had a few drops of blood on them and frowned until she saw herself in the mirror. Her cheek was cut, quite deep as chuck was wearing rings and her eye was bruised. "How can I cover this?" She said to herself. After getting changed into some leggings and an oversized hoodie; she went downstairs and put her clothes in the wash. Suddenly the doorbell went and Betty cursed; how had she forgotten girls night with Toni?

"Hey girl!" Toni grinned when Betty opened the door, her head down and wasn't making eye contact. "Betty you Okay?" Toni asked and Betty nodded, still not looking at her. "Look at me Betty" Toni said. "No" Betty whispered. "Betts.." Toni sighed and her eyes went wide when Betty lifted her head up. "Oh my god..." Toni said. "Betty what the hell happened?!" Toni questioned, Concern in her eyes. "Doesn't matter" Betty sighed. "Yes it does! And you need stitches because that's deep!" Toni said and before Betty could protest Toni was dragging her out of her house and into Betty's car.

Jughead was at the wyrm with fangs and Sweetpea, playing pool and just hanging out. He had helped his dad with some bike parts after school and he knew Betty was having a girls night so he was hanging with the boys. Speaking of Betty, he hadn't spoken to her since lunch and he tried to call her but she wasn't picking up so he assumed she was just busy. So when his phone buzzed in his pocket and he pulled it out and saw it was Toni; he was confused:

Toni: meet me at the hospital right now. It's Betty!

His heart stopped and he felt all the air leave his body. Grabbing his jacket and yelling at fangs and Sweetpea that they had to go, the three of them hopped on their bikes and raced to hospital...
