This is actually his first time away from home! Well, we moved with him once, but he was younger and seemed to adapt to it pretty well pretty quickly. I'm sure he would here, too, but he's had to stay in the cage. He's not peed or pooped in there, thank goodness! 😅 And he's eaten and drank at least a little bit this morning!

For those who don't know, we left last night for my mom's parents' house, because that's just how bad things were with my stepdad last night. It's our first time leaving overnight because of him, but I'm glad we left. He cussed my mom out in front of us, called her things that NO ONE should have to be called. No one should have to hear such language, especially at their own home. No one should have to take verbal abuse in their own home— it's SUPPOSED to be a safe place. I wish he'd leave, because it is our house. The house isn't in his name, and it never will be because of the way he is.

Anyways, yesterday was a great day. We went out for ice cream, then went to Aunt Christine's (my mom's best friend's house). At their house, they have a mini zoo! Just cats, dogs, miniature horses, a bunny, and a snake, but still! It's fun! I got to hold the snake! She's a pretty snake and I love her!

There she is! A red tail boa named Snakey or Snakey Poo. 😂

And two of the cats are cats I adore! Both are loving, sweet, and look pretty cool!

Anyways! We had a ton of fun there, then we went home, dressed for church, then we left the house before Will got home (because the previous night he'd said we might as well just be gone before he even got home from work, so we got ready for church and left three hours before it would start). Will's sister said we could come over and invited us for dinner, so we spent a long time there, having fun! I got to see Jacob, my cousin on Will's side, and he told me quite a bit about Star Wars Legends when we first met. We played Apples To Apples with Kendyll, our other cousin, and had a lot of fun talking to her. Then, we left for church, got to church, listened to an amazing lesson, and talked with our church family. Then, we went home. Things started off fine, but then Will began to call my mom awful names and awful things, and he even bad mouthed our pastor. The MAN OF GOD. That's when she had enough, so she had us all quickly pack some things we'd need, then we left!

And it actually wasn't quite as bad as I thought. Thank God for the comfort He gives. ❤️
