Multifandom Challenge Day #20
Darth Vader: I know for sure this will take awhile. Good thing she's starting this one a few days before it needs to be posted.
You weren't supposed to tell them that I've been doing that today! Just as of today, though... but yeah! When I'm bored, I get them written up, then when the time comes, I only hit "publish"... 😅
Darth Vader: I will get the sections ready.
Sections?
Darth Vader: Yes. A section for Star Wars quotes, a section for The Lord of the Rings quotes, a section for The Hobbit quotes, a section for Star Trek quotes, a section for Stargate quotes, a section for Doctor Who quotes, and a section for Once Upon A Time quotes. And maybe a section for Disney, if you want to do a quote from a classic or your favorite one. Before Disney became evil.
Aw, cool! Thanks, Darthy!
Darth Vader: No problem. *sets it up*

Darth Vader: *gives a nod* I thought that you would want to add that in, Miss Multifandom.
Teehee, correct!
Anyways, I'm tired, it's 9:51 PM of June 11th, 2019, so I'm gonna wait to continue on this one. I'll look up quotes in the morning! And try to figure out which I love most...
Darth Vader: Well, you plan to get on Pinterest, so look there. *crosses arms* You're too tired to continue this, yet you plan to stay up and write some more?
Well yeah! I wanna write before I get TOO tired, rather than work on this since this isn't due until the 20th day of the challenge!
Darth Vader: *pauses* That does make sense.
Now it is June 13th! This one is due tomorrow... do I have to pick just one quote from each fandom...?
Darth Vader: Even if I said no, you probably wouldn't listen.
Whoops, forgot to get back to this... now it's June 14th! Time to get back to this one so I can publish it! To make things easier, I suppose I'll stick with movie quotes... maybe... right now it's 8:00 AM and I have things to do, so I shall have to get back later! By then I'll probably have changed my mind— we'll see!
Okay, it's 4:03 PM now! I forgot to get to this because I was writing... working on my Hobbit Fanfiction...
To make things simpler, I really will stick with movies for now! Book quotes can always be spoken of later! Teehee...
WAIT! I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING! One quote... per fandom...?
Darth Vader: That's what I had assumed.
*hyperventilates*
I'll get to this later...
Now, it is 7:09 PM! Still June 14th! I think I can do this now.
1.
Favorite Disney quote... I'll go with a quote from Walt Disney, then from a Disney movie.

3.
Favorite quote from The Hobbit...
"There is more in you of good than you know, child of the kindly West. Some courage and some wisdom, blended in measure. If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world." ~Thorin Oakenshield (Book Quote)
"You have nice manners for a thief and a liar," said the dragon. ~Smaug to Bilbo from the book
"Good Morning!" said Bilbo, and he meant it. The sun was shining, and the grass was very green. But Gandalf looked at him from under long bushy eyebrows that stuck out further than the brim of his shady hat.
"What do you mean?" he said. "Do you wish me a good morning, or mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not; or that you feel good this morning; or that it is a morning to be good on?"
"All of them at once," said Bilbo. "And a very fine morning for a pipe of tobacco out of doors, into the bargain.
...
"Good morning!" he said at last. "We don't want any adventures here, thank you! You might try over The Hill or across The Water." By this he meant that the conversation was at an end.
"What a lot of things you do use Good morning for!" said Gandalf. "Now you mean that you want to get rid of me, and that it won't be good till I move off. ~Bilbo And Gandalf from the book
It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt,
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills,
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter. ~Gollum from the book (Riddles in the Dark)
Where did you go to, if I may ask?' said Thorin to Gandalf as they rode along.
To look ahead,' said he.
And what brought you back in the nick of time?'
Looking behind,' said he. ~Thorin and Gandalf
"Where there's life there's hope." (I would assume Gandalf said this, but I can't remember— I really love it though!)
So comes snow after fire, and even dragons have their endings. ~J.R.R. Tolkien (NOW I'M GETTING FEELS!)
There is nothing like looking, if you want to find something. You certainly usually find something, if you look, but it is not always quite the something you were after. ~J.R.R. Tolkien (Since so far all are Book quotes, I'm just putting J.R.R. Tolkien... XD)
The road goes ever on and on, down from the door where it began
Now far ahead the road has gone, and o must follow it, if I can. ~J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit: There And Back Again
"True courage is knowing not how to take a life, but when to spare it." ~Gandalf (The Hobbit movies)
Darth Vader: I'm forcing you to stop there.
....
"Will you follow me one last time?" ~Thorin Oakenshield
"Revenge? Revenge! I will show you revenge!" ~Smaug (The Hobbit movies)
"The line of Durin would not be so easily broken." ~Balin (I'm pretty sure it was him in the movie...)
MY HEART HURTS!
Some folk we never forget. ~Song of the Lonely Mountain by Neal Finn
Oh misty eye of the mountain below
Keep careful watch of my brother's souls
And should the sky be filled with fire and smoke
Keep watching over Durin's sons. ~I See Fire by Ed Sheeran
As the snowflakes cover
My fallen brothers
I will say this last goodbye. ~The Last Goodbye by Billy Boyd.
Okay I'm done! Now on to The Lord of the Rings!
Darth Vader: Your phone is at 25% because you were getting lost in quotes.
Yeah... I better let it charge... 😅 *plugs it in then cries because of the Sons Of Durin; decides to read The Lord of the Rings*
I have returned, and with more quotes to add! Especially since I've been reading more of The Lord of the Rings...
Darth Vader: *maskpalms* You're hopeless.
Normally I'd say you can't spell hopeless without hope, but I don't want to have hope if that means not being a fangirl anymore!
4.
Anyways, Lord of the Rings quotes! 😏
It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to. ~J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings
Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men, doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. ~J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings
Moonlight drowns out all but the brightest stars. ~J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings
Roads go ever ever on,
Over rock and under tree,
By caves where never sun has shone,
By streams that never find the sea;
Over snow by winter sown,
And through the merry flowers of June,
Over grass and over stone,
And under mountains in the moon.
Roads go ever ever on,
Under cloud and under star.
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
Eyes that fire and sword have seen,
And horror in the halls of stone
Look at last on meadows green,
And trees and hills they long have known.
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet.
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.
The Road goes ever on and on
Out from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone.
Let others follow, if they can!
Let them a journey new begin.
But I at last with weary feet
Will turn towards the lighted inn,
My evening-rest and sleep to meet. ~Roads Go Ever On by J.R.R. Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings)
"I didn't think it would end this way."
"End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it."
"What? Gandalf? See what?"
"White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise."
"Well, that isn't so bad."
"No. No it isn't."
~Pippin and Gandalf (The Lord of the Rings)
Home is behind the world ahead
And there are many paths to tread
Through Shadow to the edge of night
Until the stars are all alight
Mist and shadow, cloud and shade,
All shall fade, all shall fade. ~Edge Of Night (Pippin's Song) by Billy Boyd
"If by my life or death I can protect you, I will. You have my sword." ~Aragorn
"A red sun rises. Blood has been spilled this night." ~Legolas
Oft hope is born when all is forlorn. ~Legolas (The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King)
To the sea, to the sea! The white gulls are crying,
The wind is blowing, and the white foam is flying.
West, west away, the round sun is falling,
Grey ship, grey ship, do you hear them calling,
The voices of my people that have gone before me?
I will leave, I will leave the woods that bore me;
For our days are ending and our years failing.
I will pass the wide waters lonely sailing.
Long are the waves on the Last Shore falling,
Sweet are the voices in the Lost Isle calling,
In Eressea, in Elvenhome that no man can discover,
Where the leaves fall not: land of my people forever! ~Legolas (The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King)
He stands not alone. You would die before your stroke fell. ~Legolas (The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers)
Yes, they are elves," Legolas said. "and they say that you breathe so loud they could shoot you in the dark." Sam hastily covered his mouth. (I know it's in the book, but I can't remember which one! XD)
He was tall as a young tree, lithe, immensely strong, able swiftly to draw a great war-bow and shoot down a Nazgûl, endowed with the tremendous vitality of Elvish bodies, so hard and resistant to hurt that he went only in light shoes over rock or through snow, the most tireless of all the Fellowship. ~J.R.R. Tolkien
Legolas watched them for awhile with a smile upon his lips, and then he turned to the others. 'The strongest must seek a way, say you? But I say: let a ploughman plough, but choose an otter for swimming, and for running light over grass and leaf, or over snow--an Elf.'
With that he sprang forth nimbly, and then Frodo noticed as if for the first time, though he had long known it, that the Elf had no boots, but wore only light shoes, as he always did, and his feet made little imprint in the snow.
'Farewell!' he said to Gandalf. 'I go to find the Sun!' Then swift as a runner over firm sand he shot away, and quickly overtaking the toiling men, with a wave of his hand he passed them, and sped into the distance, and vanished round the rocky turn.
"I can't carry it for you. But I can carry you!" ~Samwise Gamgee
"You're late."
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to."
~Frodo And Gandalf
"All right, then. Keep your secrets." ~Frodo Baggins
Darth Vader: You need to stop.
Fine! One more!
"Nobody tosses a dwarf!" ~Gimli
"You have to toss me! ...Don't tell the elf."
"Not a word."
~Gimli And Aragorn
"This is no mere Ranger. He is Aragorn, son of Arathorn. You owe him your allegiance." ~Legolas
"Le abdollens. You look terrible." ~Legolas
But I am the real Strider, fortunately. I am Aragorn son of Arathorn; and if by life or death I can save you, I will. ~Aragorn from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
A time may come soon," said he, "when none will return. Then there will be need of valour without renown, for none shall remember the deeds that are done in the last defence of your homes. Yet the deeds will not be less valiant because they are unpraised."
She answered: "All your words are but to say: you are a woman, and your part is in the house. But when the men have died in battle and honour, you have leave to be burned in the house, for the men will need it no more. But I am of the House of Eorl and not a serving-woman. I can ride and wield blade, and I do not fear either pain or death."
"What do you fear, lady?" he asked.
"A cage," she said. "To stay behind bars, until use and old age accept them, and all chance of doing great deeds is gone beyond recall or desire.
~Aragorn and Éowyn
"Not idly do the leaves of Lorien fall." ~Aragorn
Then Frodo came forward and took the crown from Faramir and bore it to Gandalf; and Aragorn knelt, and Gandalf set the White Crown upon his head and said:
Now come the days of the King, and may they be blessed while the thrones of the Valar endure! ~J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
The Sword of Elendil was forged anew by Elvish smiths, and on its blade was traced a device of seven stars set between the crescent Moon and rayed Sun, and about them was written many runes; for Aragorn son of Arathorn was going to war upon the marches of Mordor. Very bright was that sword when it was made whole again; the light of the sun shone redly in it, and the light of the moon shone cold, its edge was hard and keen. And Aragorn gave it a new name and called it Andúril, Flame of the West. ~J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Aragorn threw back his cloak. The elven-sheath glittered as he grasped it, and the bright blade of Andúril shone like a sudden flame as he swept it out. 'Elendil!' he cried. 'I am Aragorn, son of Arathorn, and am called Elessar, the Elfstone, Dúnadan, the heir of Isildur Elendil's son of Gondor. Here is the Sword that was Broken and is forged again! Will you aid me or thwart me? Choose swiftly! ~J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Darth Vader: You're going to start boring people.
There are still so many good quotes... OKAY! I'll make it easier! Basically any quote that has deep meaning or makes one feelsy! There! Happy?
