Imagine: Dean gets back from purgatory and finds that you and Sam haven't been with each other for a year.
In this chapter I'm gonna have Bobby still alive. Sam still met Amelia. Imagine you're around 17 years old.
Dean's P.O.V
The first thing I remember is the strong scent of pine. Tall, green trees surrounded me as I re-entered the world. I look behind to see Benny climbing up a dirt mound heavily breathing.
"It worked," I smile at him.
"I told you it would," he wipes his mouth looking around the forest.
The only thing on my mind is Y/n and Sammy. I need to get to them, to let them know I'm okay. That I'm alive.
I look back at Benny giving him a hug before we exchange our goodbyes and I run to god knows where in search of my younger siblings.
*Your P.O.V*
360 days, 16 hours, 42 minutes. That's the last time I've heard from Sam. Since I lost both of my brothers.
I haven't stopped looking for a way to get Dean out of purgatory. Everyday I hold on to that small hope that maybe.. just maybe.. I can be his hero for a change. That I'll be able to rip him out and he'll be at my side again.
A familiar ring tone snaps me from my thoughts. I look down to see the caller ID labeled 'Bobby'. I bring the phone closer to my ear answering his call.
"Hey Bobby," I close my own journal sliding it to the side.
"Hey kid I got a new hunt if you want it,"
"Whatcha got," I grab dads journal ready for the monster of the week.
"Two killings in South Dakota within 2 days of each other. One of the husbands said that the wife killed their daughter before turning the gun to herself,"
"That just sounds like a murder-suicide. What's strange about it,"
"He said her eyes went black before she killed the kid,"
Demons. The cockroaches I can't stand, the creatures that will never stop coming topside.
"Y/n," I hear Bobby's voice again.
"Yeah sorry I'm here. Send me the coordinates and I'll leave tonight," I close my phone taking a deep breath.
Why does it always have to be demons? I shut my dads journal getting up from the table. I grab my duffel bag throwing it on the bed. I shove my things into my duffel before grabbing the keys to the impala.
Before I start making my way outside a knock echoes throughout the room. I quietly stand there my heart starting to race. I didn't let anyone know I'm here, I made sure I was careful when checking in. I know I wasn't followed, even Bobby doesn't know where I am.
Another knock follows and I set my duffle down taking out my demon knife Dean left me. I scurry around the bed going up to the door. I look through the peep hole but it's too dirty to see out. I get my knife ready as I unlock the chain. I open the door slightly looking to see who's standing there.
My eyes go wide and I slam the door not believing who I just saw. I grab my holy water and silver knife anger rising in me. I open the door harshly throwing the water at fake Dean.
"You will regret wearing that face in front of me," I growl holding up my knife.
Fake Dean wipes the water off his face. Okay not a demon, then he's a shape shifter. I swing the knife down cutting his arm but it doesn't affect him the way it should.
"Y/n; it's me damn it," he yells holding his hand against the cut I just made.
I just stand there in disbelief, I mean is this really Dean?
"Dean," I softly ask still not letting go of my knife.
"Yes it's me," he holds up his hands looking at me seriously.
I want to believe but if it's a trick then I'll die in the hands of a creature. And that's not how I plan on going out.
"Look," he shows me his wound and it's not black or hurting him like it would a shifter.
He even pours the holy water on his hand and it doesn't affect him. Tears form in my eyes as I run into his arms wrapping my arms around his neck. I let out a soft cry taking in his familiar scent. Oh god how I missed my brother.
"De; how did you get back? I mean don't get me wrong I'm glad you're back but I tried everything. How did you get out," I pull away from him and his body tenses a little.
"I just found a way. Where's Sam," he quickly changes the subject.
I raise an eyebrow but I won't push him, he's probably still traumatized from what he went through.
"I don't know. A week later after you disappeared Sam took off. I haven't seen or heard from him since," I close the door behind Dean.
I can already feel the anger fuming off of Dean. Dean always told Sam to look after me no matter what. He always told Sam that if something happened to him to raise me and to let me have a normal life.
"He what," dean's voice becomes cold and stern.
"It's okay Dean. I've been kicking ass and taking names," I smile a little trying to ease the tension but it doesn't work.
"It's not okay y/n! He's your brother and he left you alone? I swear when I see him I gonna-,"
"Dean! I'm fine! I'm still alive and breathing. Bobby has been checking up on me everyday. Let's just drop it," I grab my duffle bag throwing him the keys to the impala.
"I'm still not gonna let this go. When we find him I'm having a little chat with Sammy," he points at me.
I roll my eyes opening the motel door.
"But I have missed my baby," he walks out heading to his impala.
I chuckle shaking my head.
"I've missed you too big head," I mumble following him and climbing into the passenger seat.
