Evan pov

Me, Jane and teams BRNZ and NDGO were on a bullhead heading towards Vale for the Vytal Festival. Some of were pretty excited while me and Jane were a little nervous.

Nebula: Man, I'm so excited for this festival!

Nolan: Calm down Neb, your not only one.

Evan: But...some of us are a bit nervous.

Gwen: Is this about....

Jane: A little bit. But also because of my "special traits".

Evan: Hey if worse comes to worse you can just hide them.

Jane: I know its just...

Roy: You want to take pride in them?

Jane just nods her head.

Brawnz: Then do it. If people got a problem with it then they have to get through us first.

Everyone nodded their heads.

Jane was starting to tear up and told them "thank you for everything."

Once we made it to Vale we went to Beacon Academy, me and Jane told everyone that we were going to see the headmaster which they understood.

So me and Jane were in the elevator heading towards Ozpins office to talk to him about something. Once we got there we were greeted by a surprised professor Ozpin and professor Goodwitch.

Ozpin: Mr. Bledsoe, ms. Arc!?

Evan: Hey Ozpin. Long time no see.

Professor Goodwitch didn't say anything she just went up to Jane and tightly hugged her while she hugged back. I noticed that her tail was wagging in happiness which brought a smile to my face.

Goodwitch: It's so good to see you Jane.
She said with happiness in her voice.

Jane: Same to you professor.

Ozpin: It's great to see you both again.

Evan: And it feels good to see you all as well. How is the rest of the staff?

Ozpin: They missed you both very dearly.

Jane: Well I can tell their going to be exciting to see us again.

Ozpin: Yes quite. But I can tell there is another reason for why your here.

Evan: Always perceptive as usual professor Ozpin. And your right, now I understand that me and Jane can't fight in the tournament.

Ozpin: mmm.

Jane: But we were hoping that we could fight alongside the two different teams from shade? One extra person for each team.

Ozpin: Hmmm...well I don't know if I can do that but I'll see what I can do. Personally I want it to happen. So I'll see what strings I might be able to pull.

Evan: Thank you professor Ozpin.

Ozpin: It's no problem. Now I think you should head on over to your friends.

After that me and Jane left Ozpins office and went to meet with the teams.

Ozpin pov

A couple minutes after they left my office there was silence until one of us broke that silence.

Goodwitch: Your going to allow it aren't you?

Ozpin: Yes of course. But I'm more curious which team their going to be on. And I can tell that they are much stronger than before.

Goodwitch: Yes. I am quite curious how this tournament will play out.

Ozpin: As am I Glynda, as am I...personally I'm more curious how their friends are going to react to Janes new faunus traits.

Goodwitch: Well I can definitely say that their in for a surprise.

Ozpin: *Nods*

Jane pov

As we were walking I've notice people looking at me. Their looking at my faunus traits or just my own body. I was instantly pulled out of my thoughts by Evan pulling me closer to him.

Evan: Don't mind them. They're just jealous.

Him saying that brought a smile to my face. I kissed his cheek telling him "Thank you" which he replied with his own smile. But that smile soon went away when we hear a certain voice call out to us.

???: Hey!!

We turned around to see an angry Yang walking towards us i was a bit nervous but still held my ground.

She went right towards Evan.

Yang: You got a lot of nerve showing your face around here.

Evan: I have every right to be here Yang. Just like everyone else. And if you got a problem with it, take it up to the headmaster.

She then looks at me and smirks.

Yang: I see you got rid of that annoying faker. Was she not good enough for you?

I could tell Evan was getting mad. And personally I thought it was funny how she couldn't recognize me with my faunus traits.

Evan: At least I have someone. Unlike you who gets mad at someone just for touching one piece of your hair.

I noticed yang was getting furious and Evan looked like he was about to do something so I decided to intervene. And whispered in his ear.

Jane: Evan, don't let her get to you. Let's just focus on finding the others. Plus she's not worth it.

Evan only nodded.

We started walking away while yang was yelling at us. We kept walking until we were met with the sight of team CRDL. We walked up to them.

Evan: Hey guys.

Cardin: Ney Evan, how's your time been at shade?

Evan: It's been good. The best choice we've ever made.

Russel: So where is Jane?

Jane: You're looking right at her.

CRDL:..WHAT!?!

Dove: Ok. Explanation, right now.

Evan: Basically Jane is a half faunus.

Cardin: Wait, half faunus?

Jane: Basically while we were at shade apparently a couple of my ancestors were faunus and I guess I gained one of their traits. Which happens to be fox ears and a tail.

Sky: Wow, that is really bizarre.

Evan: Believe me, you should've seen a couple of our friends reactions to her traits. It was funny.

Jane: Maybe to you, but I was completely embarrassed.
She said while pouting.

We all laughed together.

Cardin: So I'm guessing you guys are going to be in the tournament.

Evan: We're hoping. We had a quick talk with professor Ozpin and he said he'll see what he can do.

Russell: Well, if we do see you in the tournament we'll be rooting for ya.

Evan: Thanks we appreciate it. Oh before I forget do you know where team CVFY is?

Cardin: I think they went shopping a couple hours ago. Why?

Evan: Oh just wanted to say hi to them. And to see their reaction of Jane having faunus traits.

Sky: Well their definitely in for a hell of a surprise.

Jane: I can just imagine the things Coco will say...

Evan: And the things she'll say just to tease you.

I lightly punched Evans shoulder while blushing madly saying "shut up".

We all laughed together.

Evan: So when does the tournament start?

Cardin: It starts tomorrow.

Evan: Perfect. That gives us enough time to head to the fair grounds.

Jane: Why do you want to go to the fair grounds?

Evan: Cause I hear there is this one noodle shop and I wanted to try it out with y'all.

Jane: Ok, I guess thats a decent enough reason.

Evan: Alright well we'll see you guys later.

Cardin: Hey, you too man.

Dove: Yeah, take care.

We made it to our friends, Evan told them about heading to the fair grounds for a bite to eat. As they were leaving I held May back and told everyone that we'd catch up to them.

Jane: So May, is there something you want to tell me?

May: What are you talking about?

Jane: Come on May. Don't play dumb with me, I know you like Evan.

May: *Blushing* I don't know what your talking about.

Jane: You say that but your face is telling me something completely different.

May:.....OK! I love him, there are you happy!?

Jane: Much, better. But just out if curiosity how long have you've loved him?

May:.....Since the first day we met. At first it was just a feeling in my gut. But as we spent more time together. That's when I realized what this feeling was. But I was a bit upset that he had you and...

I put a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

Jane: Understand this I'm not mad or angry at you. I'm happy that you told me. I Don't mind sharing him...But please, tell him soon. Ok?

May: But when and where do I tell him?

Jane: Tell him at the fair grounds. Take him somewhere secluded and tell him how you feel. And if he mentions me, just tell him I said it was alright. Got it?

May: Y-yeah. I can do that.

Jane: Thats great to hear. But...

I bring May closer to my face slightly showing my darker side.

Jane: If you hurt him, or break his heart....don't expect much mercy from me, got it?

May just nodded her head quickly. I then went back to my normal self.

Jane: Good. Now come on, we don't want to keep them waiting any longer.

Timeskip to the Fair Grounds

Evan pov

Once we made it to the fair grounds we were looking around for the noodle shop I heard about. I was with Brawnz and Roy looking for it. Till we heard a commotion, we towards the source and found two people I never wanted to see again messing with someone else that I care about.

A/N: Pretend that Olivia and Gwen are Neptune and Sun. And the other two aren't there.

Sun and Neptune.

I charged right at Sun and knocked the shit out of him. I look over to see a frightened Neptune.

Neptune: H-h-hey, we can talk about this...right?
He said nervously.

I just decided to choke slam him into the ground.

Evan: No one messes with the people I care about.

I turn around to see a stunned May.

Brawnz: May are you ok!?

May: Huh, oh yeah.

Roy: Man, of all the people they had to be here?

Evan: I'm guessing you have some history with these two?

Brawnz: More then you think.

May: They'd always flirt and harass me. Thanks for that Evan.

Evan: It's no problem May. Let's keep looking for that noodle shop.

After a bit of walking we managed to find it. The others met up with us. I was about to order until May got my attention.

May: Hey Evan, can I talk to you about something. In private?

Evan: Oh yeah, sure.

After a minute of walking we sat down at a bench.

Evan: So May what did you want to talk about?

May: Ok, well Evan, you've always had my back no matter what. Whether it was someone flirting or picking on me. You were always there to help and protect me.

Evan: Well of course, thats what friends are for.

May: Well, thats not all...

Evan: Oh...

May: Y-you see, I...I-I...

Evan:???

May: I love you!

I was completely stunned. There was so many things running through my mind right now. I was brought out of my stunned state by the sight of her about to walk away. But I grabbed her and pulled her into a kiss.

May pov

He hasn't said anything for a minute. Maybe I should just let him be...

I was about to walk away but Evan grabbed me and pulled me into a kiss. I was surprised but melted into the kiss. We wanted to stay like this forever but we needed air.

Evan: I'm guessing Jane gave you an all clear?

May: Y-yeah, she said she doesn't mind sharing you.

This brought a smile on Evans face.

Evan: Well. I gladly except your feelings.

We stayed seated for a few minutes just looking in one anothers eyes. His silver eyes looking right into my sky blue eye. It was silent until one of us broke that silence.

Evan pov

Evan: Hey May, came i ask you something?

May: Y-yeah?

Evan: How come you only cover your left eye?

Thats when I noticed that her face went somber.

May: It's best you don't see. I don't want you to be disgusted with me already.
She said looking away from Evan.

Evan: May, I would never feel disgusted. If you don't want to tell me then thats-

May: It's fine. If you want to look you can...I won't stop you.

I was a little nervous. I slowly brought my hand up to the edge of the beanie she gently placed her hand on top of mine and I pulled it up. And what I saw shook me to the core.

A/N: For those a bit confused when he said left he meant "her" left, not his.

Evan: May....

May: I know...I'm disgusting, just go ahead say it.
She said with tears coming down her cheeks with her eyes closed.

I didn't know what to do. So I did the most sensible thing I could think of.......I hugged her. I could tell she was shocked but told her it was alright while rubbing her back. She cried on my shoulder for a minute then calmed down.

May: You don't think I'm disgusting?

Evan: Why would I ever think that?

May: It's just...my last boyfriend who saw this told me that he never wanted to see my disgusting face again.
She said with tears threatening to fall.

Evan: Well, to me...your still beautiful even with that nasty scar.
He said while wiping away her tears.

She smile at me and said "Thank you".

I asked her how she ot that nasty scar. And she told me that she got it a few years before going to shade. Apparently some bandits attacked her home village then an explosion happened and a small chunk of shrapnel hit her in the eye and had to get surgery to get the shrapnel out. Sad truth is she is permanently blind in her left eye. I asked,her if anyone else knew about this and she told me that her teammates and team NDGO knew.

I ended up comforting her before we went back to the others told them the whole confession thing. Surprisingly they were quite supportive.

As we were enjoying the noodles I was brought out of my enjoyment by the sight of the people who I never wanted to see again..........Team JNPR. Whem they saw me they went up to me.

Evan: Oh great what do you guys want?

Pyrrah: Hey Evan it's good to see you again.

Evan: Uhuh, yeah sure.
He said sarcastically.

Nora: Hey! Can't you see were trying to apologize to you!

My friends and my new girlfriend were about to stand up but Jane signaled them saying that it was alright.

Jade: So this is the guy who is dating that faker?

Evan: Hey that "faker" your talking about is one of my girlfriends.

Jade: Why do you even date her? When you could go for someone like me or Pyrrah.~

Evan: Sorry but I'm not one for cheating on my lovers.

Jade: Ok then how about a bet?

Evan: What kind of bet?

Jade: A simple one...If you lose your tournament match, you have you leave that faker slut along with whoever else your with and be with both me and Pyrrah.

May: Like hell he is!!

Jade: And who do you think you are!?

May: His other girlfriend you bitch!

Evan: May! Calm down, let me handle this....fine I'll except BUT if I win you have to leave us alone for the entire duration of our stay here. And that goes for my friends as well.

Jade: Deal!

After that they left. Everyone looked at me like I just made a deal with the devil himself.

Evan: What?

Nolan: What do you mean "What"? What were you thinking!?

Evan: Calm down.

Gwen: Evan, that deal you made was a huge risk on you.

Evan: Well it was either take the deal or they keep harassing us. And don't worry I'll win.

Jane: How can you be sure?

May: Yeah?

Evan: Trust me. I plan to win. No matter what.
