Two months later

Evan pov

Things have gotten so much worse. Everyone here pretty much hates Jane, the only people that don't hate her are teams CVFY and CRDL. I managed to convince team CVFY as to why Jane would use fake transcripts. Surprisingly they understood why.

Everywhere Jane went she had insults thrown at her people beating her to a pulp in combat class, even two members of another team tried to rape her, thankfully me and Cardins team were nearby. Team NPR was one of the worst things to happen, Pyrrah would nearly kill her in combat class, Nora would nearly break her legs and back anytime she got the chance too, and Ren just socked her in the face and told her never to come near him or Nora ever again. Team RWBY was the worst of it all. Yang would beat her up and threaten her, Weiss would throw insults at her, Blake was neutral, and Ruby didn't want to be friends with her anymore.

Jane was suffering so much from it all, the only thing that keeps her from tearing apart was the support that she got from not just from the staff but from me as well. Right now I'm walking towards one of the medical rooms that Jane was in due to what Weiss did to to her. I swear if it wasn't for professor goodwitch she would probably be dead. I soon as I found it I opened the door to be greeted by a depressed Jane.

Evan: Hey Jane.

Jane: Hey...
She said depressed like.

Evan: Hey listen you have to be strong, ok?

Jane: What the point?

Evan: What?

Jane: Whats the point!? I hate it here, you and Cardin's team are the only people that are there for me besides the staff!!
She said as tears started to swell up in her eyes.

Evan: Jane...

Jane: I just don't get it...all of this hell just because of a simple document. Why does this have to happen to me?
She started crying a bit while holding her head.

Evan: Oh Jane... (I'm sorry I can't be there for you always.)
He says while hugging her.

Evan: Don't worry Jane I might have a plan to get us out of this situation.

Jane: Really? Ho-

Jane pulls out her scroll and her eyes widen a bit.

Evan: Jane? Whats wrong?

Jane: Its my dad....

Evan: I'll leave you be.

Jane: *nods*

Jane Pov

As soon as Evan left I answered the phone as best as I possibly could.

Jane: Hey dad.

Dad: Jane, is it it true?

Jane: Dad, what are you-

Dad: DID YOU DO IT!?

Jane: Do what?
She said as tears threatened to run down her eyes.

Dad: YOU KNOW WHAT YOUNG LADY!!!

Jane: Dad...It's true...

Dad: You know what happens now. Because of this you have disgraced the arc name.

Jane: Dad, no, no no no no. Dad please!

Dad: Thats enough Jane!! You are here by disowned by the Arc family!!

After he hung up I just felt cold and empty. The family that I had tried many years to at least acknowledge me, finally acknowledges me and then disown's me. I just sat there in silence and bursted into tears. Without me knowing I was brought into a hug by someone. I look up to see Evan with a sympathetic look on his face. I just embraced him and cried in his chest.

Evan pov

Jane was hurting really bad, not just physically but emotionally. The people that she considered friends and family just turn their backs on her without even a second thought which is why I knew I have to put this plan to action and soon. I let her cry for a few more minutes at least until she calms down a bit and I ask her why she was crying.

Evan: Jane, what happened?

Jane: I guess I'm no longer an arc anymore.

Evan: Jane Don't tell me they-

Jane: Yep...they disowned me.
She said as tears ran down her eyes.

Evan: Oh Jane...I'm so sorry. Plus your still an arc in my book.
He said while trying to comfort her.

Jane: It's fine...And thanks.

Evan: No it's not! Look I know this is sudden but like I said I have a plan that could help us out.

Jane: What is it?

Evan:....we leave beacon...

Jane: What!?

Evan: Let me finish. We leave to a different academy.

Jane: Can we even do that?

Evan: We may have to convince Ozpin but-

???: Convince me what?

We both look at the door to see Professor Ozpin looking at us with a curious look.

Evan: Uhhh....

Jane: Just tell him Evan. It's not like we can do anything.

Ozpin: Care to explain?

Evan:...We wish to be transferred to a different academy.

Ozpin: Are you sure thats what you want?
He said with a shocked expression.

Evan: Yeah , but that's what I want, the real question is what does Jane think about it?

Jane....I think it's best we go to a different academy.

Ozpin: Are you sure about this Ms. Arc-

Jane: Its Jane...

Ozpin: What?

Jane: I'm no longer considered an arc. Because my family disowned me.

Ozpin: *Looks down* I'm terribly sorry to hear that.

Evan: Don't be Ozpin, it's not your fault.

Ozpin: Ok. If you wish I can and I will send you to a different academy.

Jane: Really!?
She said with a little hope in her voice.

Ozpin: yes. But if you want to leave soon I suggest that you hurry.

Evan: When does the next bullhead show up?

Ozpin: I'll get you one as soon as possible.

Evan: Thank you so much Professor Ozpin you have no idea how much this'll help.

Ozpin: It's my job to help my students anyway possible. I just wish that I was there to help you more.

Jane: You are helping us, you have been helping me. By allowing me to stay at this academy despite what everyone else says. That is how much you've been helping.

Ozpin: *smiles* Well thank you very much Jane. But there is something that I need to tell you. 

Jane: What is it?

Ozpin: Do you know why I still kept you in this school?

Jane: No...

Ozpin: That is because I knew about your fake transcripts.

This not only shocked Jane but me as well. I was thinking to myself "If he knew then why did he accept her in the first place?"

Ozpin: Now I know this is very shocking but the reason why I let you in was because I saw potential in you. Personally I was hoping that your friends would understand why you did it in the first place. But I guess I was wrong. *Looks down in shame*

Evan: Hey like I said, it's not your fault at all. They just won't take the time to even listen. Believe me I tried to convince them but they're just too stubborn to even bother listen to me.

Ozpin: I guess so, well I should let you all get ready to head off.

Evan: Thanks professor Ozpin.

After that he left us.

Jane: Well he is right.
She said trying to get up.

Evan: No you stay here and rest. I'll get yours and my stuff.

Jane But how? The only way is to-

Evan: Get into the dorm room?
He says while showing the key to the dorm.

Jane: What but how-

Evan: They may have locked you out of the dorm, but they didn't lock me out permanently.

Jane: Are you sure you can get everything?

Evan: I'm positive.

Jane But what if they try to stop you? What if they beat you to near death like they did last time?

Evan: Jane...I'll be fine, ok?

Jane: I j-j-just d-d-don't w-w-want to l-l-lose y-y-you.
She said as tears started falling down her cheeks.

Evan: Here let me reassure you a bit.

Before she even had the chance to respond I cupped her face, wiped off the tears and passionately kissed her. She was surprised at first but settled into it quickly. We wanted to stay like this forever but our lungs said otherwise.

Evan: There, better?

Jane: Yeah. But I'm still a little worried.

Evan: Don't worry ok? You just focus on getting some rest.

Jane reluctantly agreed thankfully. Now the only thing I need to do is get me and her stuff together. It should be fairly easy since classes were still going on so I had plenty of time.

Timeskip

I've already made it to the dorm room, I had to make sure that I wasn't being followed by anyone. Thankfully once I was inside I immediately went to grab our bags and started packing everything.

Short Timeskip

I was finished packing up our clothes and other necessities relatively quickly since I didn't really have a lot of clothes to really begin with. I was about to start leaving until I noticed a white box in the closet.

Evan: Whats this?

I pulled out the box and saw there was a note on it saying "To an amazing friend" - J  I assumed that the J meant Jane. When I opened it what I saw surprised me. It was a Pumpkin Pete hoodie that was my size.

Evan: Where did she get this. No when did she get this?

I decided to question it later and decided to put it up with my stuff. I checked the time real quick and saw that classes just ended which meant that I had to act fast before the others showed up. I quickly grabbed our bags and quickly got out the dorm, but was stopped when I saw them......team NPR.

3rd person pov

Pyrrah: Evan? What are you doing in the dorm? And what's with the bags?

Evan: Firstly, none of your business and secondly none of your business.

Nora: Hey that's no way to talk to your teammate.

Evan: Since when were we teammates?

They were taking back by this.

Pyrrah: What do you mean?

Evan: Look if you really want to know, I'm leaving.

NPR: What!?

Evan: Thats right you won't have to deal with a quote on quote traitor anymore.

Evan started walking away from them until he gets stopped by Pyrrah.

Pyrrah: Evan please don't go...

Evan: What you think a simple "please" or "I'm sorry" is going to change my mind? Even after what you all did to me!?

Pyrrah: Look I understand what we did to you was wrong-

Evan: Wrong? Wrong!? You think beating someone to near death just because their defending someone who did nothing to deserve any of this is wrong!?

Ren: She faked her way into beacon.

Evan: So? She had a reason to do it in the first place. Unlike you I actually took time out of my day to listen as to why she did it. So if you excuse me I have somewhere to be.

Evan continued walking away until Pyrrah stopped him again.

Pyrrah: Evan please don't go....! I love you!

Evan just stopped didn't even look at her.

Evan: Sorry Pyrrah but my heart belongs to someone else.

Evan started walking away from them while he was walking Pyrrah was heartbroken she didn't even say anything she just fell on her knees and cried.

Pyrrah: Tell me Evan!

He stopped again to hear her out one last time.

Evan: What?

Pyrrah: Who does your heart belong to!?

Evan: *Deep inhale then exhale* You already know her.

Which is all he said before walking away. As he was walking Pyrrah knew exactly who he was talking about. While they stood there team RWBY showed and asked what was wrong. When they them what happened they had mixed emotions. Yang and weiss were mad that he just denied her love without even a second thought, Blake was a little upset about it but she still remained her neutral self, and Ruby was shocked but also curious as to who Evan was in love with.

Yang: When I find that bastard, I'm gonna make sure that he'll regret it.

Weiss: For once I agree with you on that.

Nora: Yeah! Count me in no one hurts our teammate and gets away with it.

Blake: Guys, maybe we should just leave him be. I mean don't you think we've done enough after what we did to him last time?

Yang: Blake, I understand where you're coming from. But what would you do if someone broke one of your closest friends hearts?

Blake:...

Yang: Exactly. Ruby are you with us?

Ruby:  Yeah sorry, but I'm with Blake on this one.

Yang: *Sigh* Fine...But that won't stop me from beating him to a pulp.

Weiss: So, does anyone know when he's leaving?

NPR: *Shakes their heads no*

Yang: Well thats just great.
