Evan pov

I was waking up slowly to see both Jane and May sleeping right beside me. I smiled and brought them closer to me. Only to see them smiling in their sleep. After a couple more hours of sleep I managed to get out of their grasp and cook us some breakfast.

May pov

I was waking up to see Evan not in the bed with me and Jane. Then I started smelling something. I woke Jane up told her I smelled someone cooking. We got up and went to the kitchen to see Evan in a pair of gray sweatpants and a black tank top  cooking what smelled like bacon. Then he noticed us.

Evan pov

While I was cooking breakfast I noticed Jane and May.

Jane was wearing some red and yellow striped pajama pants with a plain white t-shirt that was a little too big for her. May was wearing a pair of teal short shorts with a purple sports bra.

Evan: Oh, you guys are up just in time.
He said with a smile on his face.

Jane: Yeah, what are you making? Smells good.

Evan: Some bacon, sausage, and eggs.

May: Mmmmm, now that sounds delicious.

Evan: Well its a good thing I made plenty.

Once I was done cooking we started eating. While we were eating we just casually talked. Until I brought up their match today.

May pov

Evan: So you girls ready for the match?

I didn't know what to say at first cause honestly I didn't think too much about it.

May: To be truly honest with you....I'm very nervous. I mean this fight basically determines Janes fate.

I felt Jane put a reassuring hand on my shoulder and looked at her.

Jane: Then lets not lose this match ok!?
She said with determination.

I nodded my with equal amounts of determination.

I then noticed Evan smiling at Jane, after a couple hours we were on our way to the bullhead docks while we were walking me and Evan were having short conversation while Jane was ahead of us.

Evan: You know I'm happy for her.

May: Who Jane?

Evan only nodded.

Evan: Truth be told she used to have that determination before.....everything.
He said in a slight somber tone.

May: Yeah....hey question.

Evan: Hm?

May: Was she always like this before...you know everything.

Evan: *Slightly Chuckles* No, not really. Truth be told she couldn't really hold her own in a fight for long. But....

May: But...?

Evan: That was before we went to Shade...now she's like a slightly different person.

May: Slightly?

Evan: She has more confidence in her self than before.

May: Ohh....

Once we made it to the stadium me and Jane went to the locker room to get our gear. As we were getting our gear on Jane was telling us possible strategies to take her team down. And she would only use her semblance as last resort or for emergencies only.

Jane pov

As we're in the locker room I was going over different strategies with the others.

After that we were called up to the stage. As we walked out and onto the stage I look around all the people cheering and see Evan with a sign that says "You can do it!!!" I giggled at that and looked at everyone else. Team CRDL was sitting beside Evan cheering as well. I smiled and waved at them. But soon that smile slowly faltered when I saw who our opponent team was it was.................... team JNPR.

After a minute my sister came up.

Jade: Well, well, well, if it isn't miss little faker. How's your boyfriend?

I just narrowed my eyes.

Jade: I'm just gonna say it...you will lose this and maybe finally that hot stud you call a boyfriend might come with us. Even if we have to use a little force.

I widen my eyes a little knowing what she was talking about.

Jade: Are you surprised? We heard about your stupid bet from Weiss and Yang. And honestly...you pretty much just helped us.

May: You forgot there's still one more person you got to get through.
She said with a slight threatening tone.

Jade: Oh, we'll deal with you after the match.

I gritted my teeth in anger I was about to blow it. Until everything was quiet. As if the whole world froze completely then i saw Evan look at me with a gentle smile on his face. As if hearing it as clear as day I heard..."Don't give up Jane. You can do it." After that I gained my composer back, looked at my ex-sister with determination in my eyes.

Jane: Then I guess, I won't lose then.
I said getting ready to fight.

Jade: Ohhh, you are so dead.

As soon as the match started me and May ran towards the forest while the others stayed and fought.

Evan pov

As I was watching the match I saw team CRDL look a bit confused.

Evan: You good there gentlemen?

Cardin: Huh, oh yeah, it's just...

Sky: Why is Jane running in the forest?

Evan: Ohh, you'll see.

Jane pov

I told May to stay put while I give some of our teammates a bit of support. As soon as I ran out I was getting shot at by Pyrrah's rifle which I easily blocked with my shield. I then looked over to Nolan who was fighting Ren who handled himself pretty well if it wasn't for Evans training.

I then noticed that Ren had Nolans weapon against his throat as if using him as a human shield against May, which I already had the right tactic for. I quickly signaled May to shoot my shield to which she did and made the bullet ricochet off my shield and hit Ren in the shoulder. Nolan managed to fend him off.

I saw brawnz dealing with my sister and needed a bit of assistance. I whistled for him and immediately understood. He charged at me while I was bracing myself on the ground. He hopped on my shield and I boosted him off charging at my ex-sister. To which he threw his saws at her which missed at first.

Jade: Really? Thats the best you came up with?

Brawnz: Who said it was over yet?
He said while moving his hands slightly.

Jade was confused by what he meant until turned around and saw the saws coming right back at her to which she barely dodged. One managed to graze her and bring her aura down a bit.

Evan pov

I look over at team CRDL and team CVFY who just arrived to see their shocked faces.

Coco: Ok that last attack by that Brawnz guy was really cool.

Evan: You can thank Jane for that.

Velvet: How did he do that exactly?

Evan: Well you see when they were training I noticed that Brawnz always carried extra saws with him. So me and Jane asked him about it and he told me that the way his weapon works is that he launches the saws at his opponent but the downside of it is that he has to constantly replace his weapon.

Yatsuhashi: And how did you fix that problem exactly.
He said very curiously.

Evan: Simple he uses powerful magnets.

Sky: Oh, I see. So if he misses his opponent then they wouldn't expect them to be coming back to him from behind. Right?

Evan: Correct.

Jane pov

After a few minutes I noticed that my old teammates and sister were arguing about something may was going to go over there but told her to stay back and hide in the trees.

After a minute of them arguing arguing Nolan decided to speak up.

Nolan: Hey!!

They look at us.

Jade: Could you wait a minute were discussing something real quick.

Nora: Yeah! Team ears only!

Nolan completely finding this ridiculous shout at them...

Nolan: We're in the middle of a fight!!

Jade: And we're in the middle of a conversation!!!
She shot back at him.

Pyrrah: Uhhh, Jade?

Jade: Yes Pyrrah?
She asked annoyed.

Pyrrah: I think he means we're ALL in the middle of a fight.

Jade looks around and remembers what exactly they were doing.

Jade:....Nora...just..hit'em with your hammer.

Nora: You got it!

Nolan: Wait what!?

When Nora swung her hammer I managed to dodge but barely. While she took out my other teammates were put of the ring leaving only me and May.

Port: Only two members remain. What's going to happen now.

I immediately bolted it to the forest while May was hiding somewhere within the trees. As I was running I was getting shot at by both Ren and Pyrrah to which I blocked with my shield while running. Then I noticed May was giving me covering fire to which I appreciated.

Evan pov

Velvet: this is bad...
She said worried like.

Coco: I agree with you there bun bun.

Cardin: She isn't in the best scenario.

As I was hearing them voice their feelings I only said one thing that made them question me...

Evan: She'll win.

Coco: If you don't mind me asking...how exactly?

Evan: Trust me....she has her own trump card ready...she just has to use it.

Dove: And what exactly is this "trump card" of hers?

Evan: I'll explain once she uses it.

Saying that only brought mote questioning looks towards me.

Evan: Just trust me.

Jane pov

As I made it to the forest I turned around to see my sister attempt to attack me but I blocked her with my sword. I managed to push her away and gain some distance.

Jade: You were never meant to be a huntsman.

Jane: You don't control my life! And neither do mom and dad anymore!

Jade: You know it's a shame that you aren't even an Arc and yet here you are using a weapon made by the Arcs.

Jane: This was a weapon from the Arcs. But now...Its my own weapon! And I don't care who says otherwise!!

Jade: Your going to wish you never came here.

Jane: And what are you going to do?

I noticed her smirk a bit until I saw pyrrah about to throw her spear at me but lucky missed due to May shooting nearby her making her miss.

I ran deeper into the forest area while my sister followed i wanted to make sure that the others were following too just incase. I stopped in a small area until I turned around to see my sister about to swing.

But it was blocked somehow then I see May using her weapon like a club.

May: You won't hurt my friend ever again!

Jade: This doesn't even involve you!!
She said as she kicked May towards me.

I catch her and notice that the rest of the group made it as well.

I smirkma bit knowing that my plan was already working.

Jade: Just give up Jane, you have nowhere left to run. And your surrounded.

I nod at May and she understood what I was about to do and held onto my shoulder.

Jane: Who said it was over yet.

They were confused about what I meant. Until I teleported me and May behind them. When they saw us I put up a barrier around them trapping them.

Jade: What the hell!?!?

Jane: You like it? It's a part of my semblance.
I said smirking.

Jade: Big deal, it's just a stupid barrier! Nora, smash it down!

Nora: Right!

Nora charged at it and swung her hammer.....Ohhh what a mistake that was, as soon as she hit the wall she got sent flying back to the others.

Ren: What the!?

Jane: Did I forget to mention that this is a kinetic barrier? Meaning that any attack you throw at it...it'll hit back twice as hard!

Evan pov

I saw the barrier meaning one thing... she's going to finish the match quickly. I look towards the others to see their reaction.

Cardin: Dude!! Is that her semblance!?

Evan: It's a part of her semblance.

Velvet: Um, what do you mean by "part"?

Evan: Basically Janes semblance allows her to copy other people's semblances.

They had a shocked look on their faces which I found a bit amusing.

Coco: If you don't mind me asking, how does her semblance work exactly?

Evan: Well basically in order for her to copy said semblance she has to see the person use it and she can copy it. She can even use more than one semblance at once thanks to the amount of training we did with it.

Dove: How many can she use now?

Evan: For now, only three.

Sky: Well thats not alot.

Evan: Well thats because there is a downside to it.

Everyone listened carefully.

Evan: The downside of that semblance is that the more semblances she uses at once or the more powerful the semblance is the more aura it drains.

Yatsuhashi: Ohh, I see so she's basically limiting herself to how many semblances she can use at once. Correct?

Evan: Your right. Now let's see how she'll win this match.

Jane pov

Now that the barrier is up I just have to add the icing on the cake. I activated a second semblance and applied it to the barrier. I noticed that the team was looking a little weaker.

Jane: Aww, whats wrong? You all look a little tired.
She said in a teasing way.

Jade: What...are...you doing...to us?
She said getting tired more and more.

Jane: Well this is another part of my semblance. It's called "Aura Drainage".

Evan pov

Evan: Aura Drainage is a somewhat powerful but not so powerful semblance.

Fox: How come exactly?

Evan: Well the way the semblance itself works is that it drains the aura of an individual while the stolen aura can replenish the aura that person lost in battle.

Sky: Wow, that does sound powerful.

Evan: It is, but there is a bit of a downside to it...

Velvet: what is that?
She asked a bit worried.

Evan: The only downside to it is that you have to have physical contact with the individual in order for it to work.

Cardin: Wait but then, how come she's able to do it without touching them?

Evan: Remember when I said that she can use more then one semblance at once?

Everyone nodded their heads.

Evan: Well, thats the result of it. She combined the semblances together to make something even more powerful.

Jane pov

Port: This is incredible. I've never seen anything like this before.

Oobleck: I agree with you there Peter. But I'm curious if they can even get out of their situation before their aura meter reaches the red zone.

Port: Now that is a good question.

May: Looks like this is going to be an easy win for us.

It was all good till I heard my sister laugh a bit.

Jane: Whats so funny?

Jade: You think you won? This is why you were never meant to be an Huntsman. You always picked the cowards way to win.

I was about to say something but May beat me to it.

May: She may not be Huntsman material to you, but she is in my point of view.  And she isn't taking the cowards way to win this fight. She's taking the smartest way to win.

I smiled at May which she responded with her own.

After a minute all their aura was in the red, I wanted to keep going but I heard the buzzer which meant that the match was over.

Port: And ladies and gentlemen the winner of this match goes to team JBRNZ of Shade Academy!!

As we hear the cheering of the crowd I failed the hear the sound of my sister charging at me with her weapon.

Jade: I'm going to kill you!!

I quickly turn around and used Evans semblance and summoned a promethian knight to quickly grab the back of her head and slam her head into the ground which resulted in her getting knocked out.

As we hear the crowd cheer for us me and May high-fived and went to the locker room where we were met with the congratulations from our friends and boyfriend.

Evan pov

After everyone went out I pulled out two small boxes and opened them.

Evan: Should I ask them now....no, I'll do it after the tournament.

I close the boxes and left to catch up with everyone else for the celebration.

A/N: Welp it finally happened...the new team JNPR got their asses handed to them. But what's going to happen in the future, who is going to the final rounds? Who will be fighting who? Who will win? But the real question is.....WHO'S GOING TO FIX MY DAMN WALL!?!? Anyway I hope you have a wonderful day, evening, and or night wherever you live.
