28 - Fickle Minds
Of the many things I've come across,
Those fickle minds do problems cause.
Working the mill like a nine to five,
Spreading along like wildfire.
To be so productive in what matters not,
It amazes me how far they've got.
The fickle minds that do surround us,
Bring nothing but discomfort and distrust.
An ever flickering flame in the wind,
Careful now,
One day you'll sing,
Like a whispered caress,
You will be out with a wicked wink.
So think not of others deeds,
For in whispers of the fool breeze,
Does the truth still do ring true,
Fickle does not make you successful,
And to those with success, it does not make you fickle.
