Virgo! He's pretty big in this chapter!

Taurus paced up and down the stairs, thinking deeply. Her little brother, Tyson, walked in, and looked up at Taurus. "Why are you doing that? Is that what big kids are doing these days? Or are you trying to fall off the stairs so you break something and get to skip school?"

Taurus stopped and laughed, shaking her head. "No, no, no. It's just..... Zodiac Academy is weird."

Tyson frowned. "Like what?"

Despite knowing her brother was only in pre-k, and probably wouldn't understand, Taurus blurted everything out. "The teachers treat us GT kids differently. They are so much nicer and more lenient towards us. The other day though, we were told to go on these treadmills, but these three kids refused, so the coach started throwing them and hurting us and stuff. He got fired the next period. But those three kids - my friend said they were acting completely differently before I came. It's just so confusing." She plopped down on the stairs.

Tyson looked up at his sister with big eyes. "I don't get it, Toto," he said. "It sounds complicated."

"Yes it does, and that's for sure!" Taurus and Tyson looked up to see their mom standing at the top of the stairs. "Well I'm going to the library now with Ty. You wanna join? It could take your mind off things maybe?"

Taurus nodded vigorously. "Definitely."

So they walked down to the library, just the three of them against the world. For those ten minutes, Zodiac Academy didn't exist, the GT class didn't exist, and drama did NOT exist (that was for sure!). But as soon as they reached the library, Taurus got an idea, something that could clear up everything for sure. She rushed to the non-fiction section (getting scolded by the librarians while at it) and searched the shelves for any book about zodiacs. "Bingo," Taurus thought, as she pulled out a large book titled, 'Everything About Zodiacs'.

Taurus had only heard the word Zodiac before, but never knew what the word meant. After joining the academy, Taurus' curiosity grew, but she never did get around to looking the word up. Now, she could find out what it meant - and maybe even find a clue behind all the oddness.

She placed the heavy book on the table and plopped down on the chair. She blew dust off the cover and opened it up, reading softly to herself.

"The zodiacs are twelve signs that basically rule your personality. They are based off of each person's date of birth. Each of the twelve zodiacs have a different name - Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. They begin on March 21st and go year round, each one ending and the next one starting on the 21st of the next month. For example, Aries is from March 21st to April 20th, Taurus is from April 21st to May 20th, Gemini is from May 21st to June 20th, and so on for the rest, in that order."

Taurus gasped. Those were all the names of her new classmates!!! And Taurus was born on April 29th - so her zodiac was Taurus too! She read on.

"The zodiac signs are all different things. Aries is a ram, Taurus is a bull, Gemini is twins, Cancer is a crab, Leo is a lion, Virgo is a virgin lady, Libra is a set of scales, Scorpio is a scorpion, Sagittarius is an archer/centaur, Capricorn is a mermaid-goat, Aquarius is a water bearer, and Pisces is two fishes."

Taurus snickered at the part about Virgo. She would never be able to look at him the same way again!

"Each of the signs have different traits and personalities that signify them. Aries is very feisty and loves to be active. Taurus is often quite funny, and has a love for edibles. Since Gemini is a pair of twins, Gemini people are often two-faced, being sweet and kind at times, but also being rude and a back stabbed at other times. Cancers are prone to mood swings, so they are much like Gemini, only not as hurtful towards others, more compassionate."

Taurus rolled her eyes at that part. "Like a teenage girl," she mumbled under her breath, smirking to herself. Yup, she wouldn't be able to look at Virgo or Cancer properly again!

"Leo is usually the popular one, and is very sociable. Virgo is very smart, but is rather quiet and introverted compared to the others. Libra has a strong sense of right & wrong, and loves a good debate. Scorpios tend to be the dark & brooding type, but can be very fun when understood and made friends. Sagittarius is fun-loving, but is known to have a large ego and temper. Capricorn is the smartest of the group, and is a born leader. Aquarians are the dreamers of the group, so they love fantastical things. Finally, Pisces is sweet and giggly, a real child at heart."

As Taurus read, she counted off each of her classmates. Each of them (at least the ones that she knew) fit their descriptions perfectly - except two people. Virgo & Capricorn were the exact opposite of how they were said to be acting. Suddenly, Taurus had a feeling that she had hit a break in the case. She walked over to the computers and searched up the word 'Zodiac'. She scrolled through the results until she found a website titled, 'The Zodiac Legend'. She clicked on it and began reading aloud.

"It is believed that every 100 years, twelve people who are each named after the zodiac are all born in the same year. These people are believed to be incarnations of each of the actual signs themselves, so they have an immense amount of power. If all these people are assembled together, their power would be enough to end the whole world. However, there have been no reports of this actually being true, so this is but a legend."

Suddenly, someone pulled back on Taurus' elbow. She shrieked, falling back, until a hand clasped her mouth. Her eyes went wide in shock, and she collapsed into the person behind her. The person also fell back, and Taurus found herself lying in a heap with Virgo and Capricorn, looking at her with the same wild eyes as Taurus. They all stood up, brushing off their outfits. "What the-" Taurus began, but her mouth was clasped by Virgo, and she was pulled into the shelves, deep into the shelves. As soon as the hand was released, Taurus opened her mouth, but nothing came out. She was speechless.

Capricorn's brown hair was tousled, her eyebrows creased, giving her a stressed look. She must have seen the anger on Taurus' face, because she looked nervous. "Look, we are sorry! We just couldn't tell you about any of this!"

Taurus burst out, not caring that she was in a library. "Sorry?! You knew all along that we are all apart of some kind of crazy plan to end the world, and you just say sorry?! What the hell! And you just clasp your hand over my mouth and expect me to be all chill and all-forgiving with you, like 'Oh, Capri & Virgo! I know. You never told me that the world was gonna end and it would be because of us, but that's okay! I'm gonna forgive you! And that's okay that it seemed like you were my kidnapper, since I just forgave you!' No! This is bad!"

Virgo had an uneasy frown on his face. "Please don't say that word. Curse words and bad words make me uneasy."

Taurus gaped. "Seriously?! Of everything I just said, you only took that?!" She looked at Capricorn, her eyes wanting an explanation. "Look. I just got here and already I'm tangled up in some dumb crap that I don't want into. I barely know you two, and now you just kidnapped me?!"

Capricorn shook her head. "Look, Taurus. I'm sorry that we couldn't tell you. But how are we supposed to say this kind of thing, huh? 'Oh hey, new kid! I know you just arrived, but did you know that you are only at Zodiac Academy to end the world?"

Taurus' eyes widened. "Wait. What?! I'm only here to end the world?"

Virgo rolled his eyes. "Yeah, duh! Why else do you think that all the GT kids have Zodiac names? We are those 12 in the legend! They've been trying to gather everyone from all over, and you are the final piece."

Taurus' jaw hit the floor. "How the heck do you guys know this anyways?!"

Capricorn & Virgo shared a look, and began talking.

"A couple days before you arrived, we found out about the plan." Capricorn said. "Virgo wasn't feeling too well one day, so he went to the nurse. The nurse dismissed it, saying it was 'Algegra Fever', so Virgo headed back. He still wasn't feeling well though, so he decided to take a longer route back to class. He passed the teacher's lounge, and found a slip of paper on the floor. In a messy scrawl, it read 'GT Plan Meeting - 4:00 PM today. NOBODY MAY KNOW'. Virgo got curious and decided to stay after school to investigate. I went too."

Virgo continued. "So we hid behind a huge plant - typical, I know - and waited. All the teachers in the whole school were there. I stuck my phone into a teacher's purse, calling Capricorn's phone before that. We listened in and heard about their plan. Unfortunately, when we ended the call, the phone beeped twice, and the teachers heard it. They found my phone and saw the call duration & start time."

"The next day, Virgo & I were called to Principal Stern's office, where he asked us what they heard. I confessed to have heard everything, and warned the Principal that he wouldn't get away with any of it. He simply threatened us to stay silent about the whole plan, and switch their personalities to the complete opposite. If not, our families would be kidnapped and tortured. We admitted to have told Cancer already, and Cancer only. Cancer was also threatened the same, so when you arrived the next day, all three of us were whole new people."

Taurus looked at the two, a frown on her face. "But wait. Why did you guys have to change personalities? And Cancer has been acting exactly like a Cancer should. He's kinda nervous about everything and very moody. I don't understand!"

Virgo smiled sadly. "We had to act opposite so that the new student coming the next day would be fooled into thinking that that's how they truly were, & the plan would still work. If you knew about our real personalities, you would think something else and be du,b or some crap like that."

Capricorn smirked. "I thought curse words made you uneasy?" Virgo reddened. "It's okay. But what about Cancer?"

Capricorn answered that. "Cancer.... he's not a good actor. On top of that, I'd like to say that people act oddly around those they like or appreciate."

Taurus blushed. "Okay whatever. So what now?" The other two simply shrugged.

"That's the problem. "We can't speak about it or our families - that's not a risk I'd like to take."

Taurus rolled her eyes. "Oh My God. If you are going to be afraid of some weird dude who is trying to end the world, then good luck to civilization. How about you hear my plan?" She lowered her voice and whispered her plan.

Virgo nodded. "I think that just might work!"

Capricorn nodded. "Yup. We've got ourselves a plan."
