The Argument (an Old Draft)
Yesenia walked down the hall, dressed in her uniform. She hadn't had time to change, for her brother insisted that they solve the whole prank war issue right away. Her hair was tied into a very messy bun, the curls peeling off like old paint on a wall. Her eyes were tired, and she was in a very bad mood today. And given the fact that she had just about 15 minutes of rest, she's not gonna go very easy on everyone on the opposite team - especially Caster.
She walked into the elevator. The air-con in the elevator managed to cool her down, as she didn't notice that when she walked, burnt footprints were left on the floor, and her horns had grown a little larger. Her tail was shaped into a sharp scythe, and her demon wing was almost the size of her father's. All of that shrunk for a bit, the cold wind from the air-con blowing through Yesenia's ears.
She waved her arm and her cane appeared in her hand. She then rested her hands on the handle, a little anxious on what's to come next.
Soon she reached floor ten, and she almost literally exploded.
Caster was accusing Yong for pouring red paint onto Lavandula, when everyone kinda knew it was an unintentional accident. He was just doing his job, painting the inside of the circus. Yesenia stomped in and pointed her cane at Caster, unaware that the tip of the cane has been blown off by the strong waves of her magic energy.
"HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE OF MY BROTHER," she began. Everyone was startled, and they backed up a little. Yesenia's sclera was now void black, and her eyes were red with rage.
"But he poured red paint onto Lavvie! LAVVIE!" Caster yelled back, pointing both his hands at Lavandula. Yesenia felt her hair starting to warm up, and she took the chance to explode theoretically. "WELL IT WAS AN ACCIDENT, YOU INSOLENT DOG," she shouted, her bun bursting into flames. "MY BROTHER WOULD NEVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT UNLESS YOU DID IT TO HIM MANY, MANY TIMES! WE ALL KNOW THAT YONG WAS JUST SENT TO PAINT THE CIRCUS - I SENT HIM TO PAINT THE CIRCUS! HE DIDN'T EVEN PLAN ON POURING PAINT ONTO LAVVIE!"
"DON'T CALL HER THAT-"
"I'M NOT DONE."
Everyone continued to watch in muted horror as the floor beneath Yesenia's feet were beginning to steam. "You were the one who started this all. You put that cat cupcake onto Yong's desk. You made it come to LIFE, AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN CARE, THAT YONG, WAS AFRAID OF HELLO KITTY!" Everyone stared at Yesenia in silenced shock. She never really opened up on what Yong was most afraid of, not until today. Yesenia cooled down a bit and ran her hands through her hair. They softened, and fell gracefully down onto her head and onto her face. "The cupcake came alive. That's why he was so scared," Yesenia said, the silence almost deafening. "Yong is afraid of hello kitty, because an exterminator was close to kidnapping him and killing him.
"And he was wearing a hideous hello kitty mask."
Everyone quietly listened, tempted to turn around and look at Yong apologetically. But a sorry wouldn't solve it. Yong doesn't easily forgive people.
Yesenia inhaled, and pinched her nose bridge. "I'm tired. I'm fucking tired of your bullshit, all of you." Yesenia said, pointing her cane at everyone on Team Caster. Their eyes widened, and Yesenia made eye contact with Sun. "And you."
"You're an ass for breaking my brother's heart."
Everyone continued to stare at Yesenia and stand in silence, before Yesenia made another move. "I'm tired. Let's go, Yong." And with that, the Yong siblings left the meeting floor, burnt footprints trailing behind them.
