Note: I remade chapter 4 because I didn't like what I wrote on how the guys meets Jesse's 'father' so I remade that part.

Ten years later...

Jesse's Pov:

I can't believe it has been ten years already. I was having a better contact with humans over the years. I don't spend that much time with father like I did when I was six and younger. But I still go with him sometimes. Petra, Axel and Olivia were my best friends and people I could trust. I didn't tell them that I had powers and that father was a dragon. I just decided to keep my mouth shut... for now. Right now I had to meet them at the human's place called 'town'. What a weird name, but I'm not complaining. I saw them a the entrance of the woods. I smiled when I saw them.

"Hey Jesse." I heard Axel greet me as I walked to them.

"Hey Axel." I greeted him.

I then saw him hold hands with Olivia. I was confused when I was them. What does this mean? I then saw Olivia put her lips in Axel and he turned red. I saw Petra smirk at them, they noticed I was confused.

"Oh yea, me and Olivia are boyfriend and girlfriend." Axel said with a nervous smile.

"Oh ok." I said as I smiled. Though I was still confused, I mean what does that mean?

"Ok lovebirds, break it up" said Petra teased with a smile.

I looked at them this is getting confusing. What does lovebirds mean? Same with boyfriend and girlfriend. I ignored it and we went for a walk around 'town'. 

After a while we were in a place called the cemetery. All I saw were big stones with words and flowers.

"What's this place?" I asked.

They all look at me with shock impressions in their faces.

"What?" I asked.

"This is a cemetery." Olivia responded.

"And whats that?"

"Does your dad even tell you about these thing?" Axel asks me

"No?"

"Well a cemetery is were people who died are put to rest." Petra says.

"Oh really?"

They nod at me.

We went to a hill where there wasn't any stones, there was a huge tree with were we can rest. I laid down on the grass while the others sat down near the tree. I herd whispers but I didn't bothered to listen. I was focusing on the sky.

"Hey Jesse can we ask you something?" asked Petra

"Sure, fire away." I responded

"Can we meet your father?"

I sat up quickly and looked at them with a widen look. "WHAAT!?"

"Come on Jesse, you already met our parents how about we meet your dad?"

I looked at them, shocked. I can't let them know that my father is a dragon! Not yet.

"Uh." 

"Well?" they ask me.

"I-I have to talk to father about this first. I-is that ok?"

They looked at each other and start whispering. After a few moments they stopped whispering.

"Ok we'll wait." said Olivia

"But you got to talk to him tonight and tell us his answer." said Petra.

I nod and we continued our day in the cemetery. When sunset came We said our goodbyes and leave for our homes. When I got home I saw dad sleeping... again.

"Dad? Wake up"

I heard him groan and he opened his blood eyes. He looks at me with a smile. But when he saw my impression his smiled faded.

"What's wrong Jesse?"

"We have a problem."

"What is it?"

"My friends. They... want to meet you."

"Oh? And whats wrong with that?"

" I'm scared dad. What if they betray me and tell the other humans about us. They could separate us. The humans can kill you!"

The red flaming dragon looked at his son with a worried expression. He knew his son was right. Then the dragon had an idea.

" I got it."

"Huh?"

"Remember that you didn't tell anyone about your powers?"

Jesse nods as he starts gets what his father is saying.

"Well if they do try to separate us then you can use your powers to knock the humans out cold, and we can have the chance to find a new place to live. Far away from any human."

Jesse went to his father and hugged him with a huge smile. "Ok dad."

"Tomorrow I will bring them to meet you then."

Jesse climbed his father to get on his back. Jesse then gets comfortable on his father's back and goes to sleep.

Petra's Pov:

Me, Axel and Olivia waited in the entrance of the forest for Jesse so he can tell us his father's answer. In fact the three of us were interested to know why Jesse doesn't know many things. After a few minutes we saw Jesse come with us with a nervous smile.

"H-hey guys" Jesse greeted us.

"Hey. So what did your old man say?" asked Axel.

"Oh uh he says it's fine with him." He scratches his neck

"Is something bothering you Jesse?" I asked him.

"No. It's just, I'm worried how you would react when you see my dad." He answered me.

"Why?" I asked

"You'll know when you see him." he chuckled nervously.

The three of us shrug our shoulders and we went into the forest. It felt like we were walking forever. 

"Man, how far do you live Jesse?" asked Axel.

"Very far" Responded Jesse.

After a few moment we saw a burnt house. There was ashes and some burn wood. I also noticed two burned skeletons.

"Hey uh Jesse?" I tried to get his attention.

"Yes?"

"Uh what happened here?" I asked as I pointed at the house while kept walking.

Jesse froze and we all stopped and looked at him with worried expressions.

"Jesse?" Olivia tried to get his attention.

There was silence for a while but Jesse finally broke it by saying this "This was my old home, those skeletons you see inside the burn house are my parents. This happened when I was three-months-old. Some guy came that night and burn the house. My parents manage to save me, but they couldn't save themselves."

We all gasped. I'm guessing this why he believed humans were cruel. "I'm sorry Jesse." I apologized

"Don't be. Besides I was lucky dad found me that day. Otherwise I wouldn't have survive the next day." Jesse said with a sad smile.

We all continued to walk to Jesse's home. After what seemed like forever, we find a dark cave in front of us.

"Dad? I'm here. And I brought my friends." Said Jesse as his voice echoed the cave.

"You and your dad live in a cave?" asked Axel. Jesse nods.

"Hmm, that lazy bum must be sleeping again." said Jesse with a chuckle.

"Again?" I asked.

"Yeah. I did't mention this but my dad is very lazy. In fact he sleeps almost all day."

We all laugh at this then we all went inside the cave. It was really dark and the redstone torches weren't helping much.

"Why do you have redstone torches than normal torches? I can barely see anything." question Olivia.

"Me and dad love the dark and besides, it's good to hide from the enemy." Said Jesse

We all had a hard time seeing in the dark. But we touch the cave walls to guide us on the way. We then saw a widen area in the cave. We then saw a large shadow.

"Dad?" asked Jesse with a worried tone.

"We saw the shadow open it's eyes. It's deadly blood eyes. We were all frighten. We were all turn to Jesse who smiled at us.

"It's ok." said Jesse

"Hey dad, can you make it brighter. Because they can't see well in the dark." said Jesse

"DAD?!" The three of us yelled at the same time.

Then the we saw the shadow create flames and some torches began to brighter. And we saw what the shadow was. A RED DRAGON!!!

"Guys meet my father. The great red dragon." introduced us Jesse to the dragon.

"WHAAAT?!?!?!?" Me, Axel and Olivia yelled at the same time.

"Yep. The dragon is my father." said Jesse.

We all stared at the dragon with fear.

N/A: Ok guys here is the remake of chapter 4. I like this one better. Anyway, Jesse's friends find out that Jesse's adopted father is the Great red dragon. What will they do now? Find out soon. SEE YA LATTEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.!!!! :D
