Jesse's Pov:

"Alright guys, remember the plan." I said as we were hidden and looking at this rotting hell.

"Axel, you still have the fireworks I gave you right?"

He smiled and he showed them to me. Father, Olivia and Petra looked at us with surprised looks when they saw the fireworks.

"Hold on a minute. Jesse? Where did you get the fireworks? We never ran into a village or a person to give us that."

"Uh...I don't want to talk about it..."

Everyone looked at Axel as I turned my head away and scratched the back of my neck. I can tell Axel was very nervous as everyone gave him the look. Axel didn't knew where I got the fireworks, I looked at them and sighed.

"Guys. Forget about this, we have a world to save."

Everyone looked at me and nodded, me and Axel both sighed in relief. Petra still gave me the look though. What's worse is that she's next to me.

"Jesse. Tell me." She said in her deadly tone.

To be honest that doesn't scare me, but I told her anyways. I sighed as everyone looked at me again.

"Ok, I got the fireworks ten years ago, when I was under the spell of uncle."

"But you still haven-"

"I got them as a reward after I completed my first mission kill." I interrupted her as they give me widen eyes.

"WHAT!?!?"

"Shush! Do you want us to get caught!" I whispered shout as they covered their mouths.

I looked over there and I saw two skeletons riding two huge spiders coming this way with their bows ready to kill, seems like they heard us. I glared at everyone as they gave me a nervous smile and scratched their back of their necks.

"Way to go! Hide!" I whispered shout as we did.

Olivia and Petra hid in their own dead trees and Axel hid behind a rock. Father was huge, but he manage to find a huge rock that was big enough for him to hide. As for me, I hid near a dead tree, where they were now near. They got closer and closer, I heard the Spiders get closer as the Skeleton's bones clutched even louder as they got closer. 

I saw the Skeletons were near the girls, I needed to do something and quick!

"Hey! Over here you goons!"

The Skeletons and Spiders turn to face me. The spiders began to close in as the skeletons got their Arrows to their bows to shoot. I stood still, I did not flinch or blink. I just stood there calmly as the big blow was going to happen.

The spiders jump towards me as the Skeletons shot their arrows.

"JESSE!" Everyone except father yelled.

As the spiders were about to land on me, the arrows hit them, as I expected. I moved to make the bodies of the spiders land on the hard ground. I saw a mixture of venom and blood come out of their bodies, before their bodies turned to dust.

I looked my eyes to the Skeletons who looked at me with no fear. They got ready to shoot again, but before they could, I ran towards them and knocked them to the ground. This made them let go of their bows and arrows. 

The Skeletons saw their bows and arrows fly to the air and they looked at me. They began to shake, I knew the Skeletons very well, and let me tell you, they are stupid when it comes to fighting, just like the Zombies.

I grabbed the skulls of the Skeletons and smashed them together, to make them shatter and die. Once the skulls were destroyed, they laid lifeless. After a few seconds, the bodies turned to dust, just like the Spiders.

"You guys can come out now." I spoke calmly as I turned to avoid at looking at everyone.

They came out of their hiding spots and Petra ran to hug me. I was still on facing the other side, but I turned my neck to look at her, holding me close for a hug as she snuggled onto my back. I smiled as I turn to face everyone.

"Ok, now that that's out of the way, let us finish our mission."

They nodded and we slowly and quietly got closer to the base.
