Chapter 25: He's not what he seems
Petra's Pov:
We woke up this morning and got ready for the travels. We found some fruit on the way, which was lucky and Jesse' father found another sheep and he ate it whole. Anyway we walk on most of the way, then he hoped on Jesse's father's back.
I looked at Jesse who was sitting next to me, he was quiet since this morning. I bit my bottom lip and interlock my fingers on his. That snapped him out on whatever he was thinking of because he looked at our hands and then at me. I smiled and kissed his cheek, he smiled back.
"Jesse? What's been bugging you? You been quiet this morning." I said with a worried tone.
He sighed and scratched his neck. "I was thinking about my uncle and a vision I had last night. I'm starting to think that uncle Herobrine isn't what he seems."
I gave him a confused look. "What vision? And what do you mean 'not what he seems'?"
He explained to me about him seeing his parents and uncle when they were younger and saw told me what he saw that was different about his uncle.
"Jesse. That vision is probably a trick. It probably isn't real." I assured him as he sighed.
"I guess your right, but it just feels like something's missing."
I bit my lip and grabbed his head on both sides to make him face me.
"I'm sure we'll figure it out Jesse." I smiled before I leaned in and made our lips touch. He kissed back.
...
Night came quickly, we all got ready for bed. We found a river and drank the water. Jesse went in the cold river and got some fish for us to eat. He grabbed lots of it for us, mostly his father since he sure eats a lot. When Jesse got out of the river he sat down next to his father and shivered. I smiled and got up. I grabbed Jesse's hand and made hims set near the fire.
"You need to stay warm you dork. Other wise you're going to get a cold." He chuckled and we began to cook some of the fish, we gave the rest of the raw fish to Jesse's father. Jesse was the only one who wasn't eating, he was just zone out.
"Hey dude? Are you alright?" asked Axel as Jesse nodded with a weak smile.
"Are you sure? You been quiet the whole day and you haven't eating anything." said Olivia. Jesse was silent and faced the ground.
I already knew what was happening. I patted Jesse's shoulder and told everyone about what Jesse told me earlier. They all gave Jesse a concern look.
"Jesse? Why didn't you tell us?" asked Olivia.
"I wasn't sure about telling you guys yet, I still need answers."
We began to argue about it until eventually we dropped it. We all got comfortable and began to fall asleep. I saw Jesse get on his father's back. I don't understand how can he be comfortable on a dragons back. Jesse noticed what I was thinking and extended his hand, I took it and he helped me get oh his father's back. I laid down and felt comfortable, I felt Jesse put an arm around me and we cuddle until we fell asleep.
