S3 EP6: Hour of Power Part 1

Henry

Jasper, Charlotte and Aria were already at work while I was on my way to work. On the way to work, I stopped to get an ice cream cone because I was craving one badly.

Ever since Aria found out I was Kid Danger and she found about about Ray being Captain Man, I've become more confident in telling Aria a lot more things now. 

"So, you're going to meet me there? Great."

I walked in the Man Cave, Ray was in uniform and on his phone, Charlotte, Jasper and Aria were standing in a line facing Ray and looking over at me. 

"Uhh, so you're on the phone, talking with Henry right now?" Charlotte said, her arms crossed over her chest and looked at me. 

"You're going to meet me where? Why are you in uniform?" I finally said, making Ray scream lightly then slowly setting his phone down to his side. 

Schwoz came out from the secret room, holding something big in his hand as he was messign around with it. 

"Hey, I thought you said you were going to leave before Henry got here?"

"Oh, will you be quiet? Ever?" Ray grabbed the thing from Schwoz's hand and hooked it onto his belt. 

"Ray? What's going on here?" 

I looked at Aria, then to Ray, "Yeah. Dude, if there's something going on, tell me. I'm your sidekick."

Everyone fell silent for a moment. Schwoz walked over the control panel and started to mess around with the controls. 

"Wait, I'm confused. I thought your plan was to go fight that guy Drex, but not tell Henry so that Henry would never know about it?"

I watched as Ray started to shove a whole pineapple into Schwoz's mouth. All of us protested to try and get Ray to stop, but he didn't listen once the pineapple was completely in Schwoz's mouth. 

"Hey," I grabbed Ray's arm, "talk to me."

"Look kid. I've got to go fight a really bad guy. And I've got to fight him alone."

"Why don't you just tell Henry that Drex used to be your sidekick?" Schwoz said, finally pulling the pineapple out of his mouth.  

I heard Aria's phone clatter to the ground as those words slipped out of Schwoz's mouth. The ice cream was no longer in my hand; it was now on the floor and Charlotte had to clean it up, as no one else wanted to.

"You had a sidekick...before me?"

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I thought I was Captain Man's first and only sidekick. How could Ray hide something like this from me? Why didn't he tell me about this? For three years, he's hid this from me?

"I can't believe this. I-I cannot believe this." I said, pacing back and forth the Man Cave, Ray staring at me,.

I've never felt this upset with Ray in my life of working with him. I mean yeah, he could've told me this when I first got the job, rather than three years after I got the job. I just didn't think I would be Ray's second sidekick over anything else. 

"Guys, there breaking news."

"It says that the mistakenly released criminal, known as Drex, has been spotted in North Swellview, traveling south on East Avenue." Aria finished up reading the article that was just released. 

"I'm going with you." 

"No, I have to fight him alone, Henry. I know he's my first sidekick, but you could seriously get hurt." Ray said, stopping me from getting under the tube.

I ignored Ray's comments and walked under the tube, pulling out my gum tube. There's no way I'm letting Ray fight this Drex guy alone. I'm a sidekick that helps out Captain Man, and that means I'm going to be there to help fight Drex, no matter how dangerous it is. 

Drex was apparently going to the bakery district at a certain shop called Schneider's Bakery. Him and Ray used to come here twice a week years before I became a sidekick. We argued about why Drex was his favorite sidekick until Ray got sidetracked. 

"Wait, did Drex know how much you love nut clusters?" I stared at the box that was sitting on a table near the shelves of baking items. 

I know there wouldn't be a free batch of nut clusters sitting in an empty bakery unless someone set it out to trap Ray; or me for that matter. 

Before I knew it, Ray stuck his hand in the hole, locking his hand in place. As stupid as Ray can be, he stuck his other hand in the hole, both of his hands getting locked in the box too. 

Ray thought the box was defective or something, so he made me go over to Mr. Schneider to have him call a handy man to break Ray free. His head rolled off his body, scaring the living daylights out of me. 

We fought again and didn't hear the door open until Ray stopped talking and stared at the person who walked in; Drex. By the looks of this guy, I'd be terrified of him, much like I am now. 

"Ahh, poor Ray, did you want a nut cluster?" 

Drex teased Ray about wanting a nut cluster, so I took it into my own hands to fire up the tranquilizing dart thing that Ray gave me from Schwoz. Two robbers came in, not knowing who Drex was, and that's when they got knocked out. 

Before Drex and I could fight, he went outside and pulled a girl in, ropes tied around her hands. I didn't see her face, all I saw was her dark brown hair that looked familiar. She looked up and I gasped. 

"Ar-"

Drex laughed, pulling out a cloth from his pocket and setting it over Aria's face. Her body went limp in seconds, her body crashing to the ground. He chloroformed her, knocking her unconscious. 

I aimed the tranquilizing thing at Drex, waiting to shoot the darts at him. He snatched it off my wrist, opening the door and throwing it as far as he could. I didn't want to leave Aria behind, but I needed that so I could stop Drex. I ran outside and went to go find it. 

I came back to the door, "I got it."

I saw Drex attaching some light up box to Ray's head, completely covering it. I tried to open the door, but it was locked. Maybe chasing after the hand thing was a bad idea. 

When Drex let me in, I pointed the darts at him. I shot it, but missed him as he held up the opposite side of a pie dish. 

Drex lifted me up and literally threw me head first into a giant bowl of cake batter. I tried moving, but the batter was so sticky, I struggled to get out. My feet hit the bottom of the floor and I stood up, batter completely covering my face. 

I was then raised over Drex's leg, hearing him take a deep breath,. His hand smacked down onto my butt, shocking me. The kids outside of the window were taking videos of Drex literally spanking me.

When I was back at the Man Cave, I was sitting in a bucket of ice. My butt was red and sore from all the spanking that Drex did. Charlotte and Jasper were watching the news footage of me getting spanked. I groaned, asking them to turn the monitors off. 

"Are you serious? I can't take on Drex." I scoffed, answering what Ray asked me. My butt became more numb by the second of me sitting in this ice. 

"Why not you can't?"

"Because. I tried to fight that guys, and he stuffed me in cake batter and spanked me." I said, moving my legs around. 

I stood up, wrapping the towel around my waist and holding it so it wouldn't fall. I walked over to the tubes when Charlotte stopped me. 

"This town needs a superhero," I started, taking off my watch and setting it on the chair, "or...at least a decent sidekick...who has skills or....who has anything...I'm nothing. I'm not even wearing pants." 

I took out my gum tube from my pocket . I sighed, then tossed it over to Charlotte, "Here." 

I went up the tube and went home pantless. I got a few stares here and there, but I got my butt my spanked. I went home and put pants on along with different clothes, and lied on the couch,

If I can't fight the most dangerous criminal in all of Swellview, then I can't be Ray's sidekick anymore. I have no powers to protect me from getting killed. Ray's indestructible; he can't get hurt, but I can.

Aria

I watched in horror as Ray and Henry got into a huge blowout about Henry not being Ray's first sidekick. It was somewhat interesting to watch, but also horrifying too. 

"I'm going with you guys." I said as Henry and Ray got under the tubes, each of them getting ready to let the tube enclose around their bodies. 

"What? No, Aria. You're not going with us, it's too dangerous." Henry said, stopping me from getting under that tube.  

"Henry's right. You don't know what you'd be getting yourself into if you come. Stay here. Charlotte, keep an eye on Aria." 

I scoffed and sat back down on the chair as the two of them flew up the tubes. My legs crossed over one another as well as my arms. I'm not an easy person to tell to stay put. Everyone knows that, yet they still try me. 

I'm not going to just sit here and let my boyfriend and boss go out to fight this dangerous criminal Drex alone. Sure, he used to be Ray's sidekick, but that doesn't give him a right to threaten my team. 

"Hey Char. My mom needs me home to help her unload groceries." I made up an excuse just so I could go after Ray and Henry.

"Okay. I'll see you later Aria." 

Before I left, I grabbed one of Ray's blasters and put it under my shirt. I went up the tube and I flew up it, leading me out of Junk N' Stuff. Taking my phone out from my back pocket, I shot my mom a text lettting her know I won't make it home for dinner. 

Aria: Hey, I can't make it to dinner, busy day at work. 

I ran down the street until I found Schneider's Bakery, which was right across the street from a small store. I went to the store and asked if any of them seen Captain Man or Kid Danger run by here.

I reached Schneider's Bakery and crouched near the front window, peering into it. I saw the,. Ray was sticking his hands into a brown wooden box. while it looked like Henry was yelling at him to knock it off. 

I stood there, waiting for Drex to arrive, if he even did. I felt a hand on my shoulder, and my body immediately froze. I stood up, not looking behind me as I felt two hands on my shoulders. They turned me around, and I almost passed out. 

Drex lifted me over his shoulder and carried me to side of the building. He threw me to the ground and pulled out rope from a bag sitting next to me. 

"You aren't going anywhere." Drex said as he tied the rope around my hands and secured it really right. 

"Who said I was leaving?"

He laughed, tying more rope to my feet, connecting my ankles together. Now, I couldn't even move my arms or legs. 

I didn't care to scream because there's no point in it. I betrayed Henry and Ray by not staying put when I really should have stayed put. Charlotte thinks I went home to help my mom with groceries, when in reality, I lied to her and came here to help. 

Drex came back a put me back over his shoulders, carrying me back to the front of the bakery. He set me down and used the longer portion of the rope to tie to me to a pole so that I wouldn't escape. 

He went inside of Schneider's Bakery, the door slamming behind him. People came up to me and asked questions about why I was I was tied up outside of a bakery. Ten minutes later, I was dragged inside of the bakery, keeping my head down. 

I already know that Henry's going to freak when he sees that I didn't listen to him, but that's only because I didn't want him to get hurt. 

A cloth was placed over my mouth and nose, the fumes from the cloth hurting my nostril. Before I knew it, I was passed out.

S3 EP7: Hour of Power Part 2

Henry

Lying on the couch, I scrolled through different videos of people making fun of me for getting spanked. I felt stupid; I wasn't a good sidekick. I let my guard down in front of Ray and myself. 

"Stupid news." 

I watched more videos, all these people reacting and recreating my spanking video. I ate a bag of chips while watching these, because it seems like that's all I'll do now that i'm no longer Kid Danger. 

And my girlfriend was kidnapped by Drex and I can't do anything about it. I don't know where she is or where he took her. She could be dead in an alley somewhere and I wouldn't know because I'm not fighting crime anymore. 

"You've got to come back with us to the Man Cave." Charlotte said as her and Schwoz walked into my house without my permission. 

I sighed, "No. I'm not going back, no matter what you guys say." 

"Then we won't say anything."

Next thing I knew, a green laser beam was coming out of Schwoz's funny looking hat. I stared at it, my body becoming weak and I could barely even stand.

"Hey. What up with the beam? Why- why..."

I woke up, and I was not longer in my living room, I was down in the Man Cave, lying on the ground, Schwoz and Charlotte staring at me. 

I sat up, slowly, so that I was able to stop myself from falling over. All of a sudden, the monitors blinked on, showing an emergency up in Junk N' Stuff. It was Jasper, and he was getting harrassed by Drex, demanding the location of the Man Cave. 

Schwo'z family, Swindle and Gubab, or whatever their names were, said that they were able to combine the venom from a lizard and a spider, they'd be able to give me a superpower. Schwoz pushed me down on the bench, a face mask on my face, then I passed out. 

I woke up to an extremely loud screaming in my ear from Swindle, or something, causing me to jolt upwards and jump right off the bench. 

"Henry, go over there and look closely at the elevator button."

"Uh, okay." I walked over to the elevator button and looked at it, no clue as to why I was doing this. 

"Henry!" 

I turned my head to see a rocket come flying in my direction. I ducked, rather fast, the rocket slamming right above my head into the elevator door. Schwoz let the other five rockets go, completely missing me each time. 

This was a new superpower that would hopefully help me fight Drex called Hyper Motility. I grabbed my gum tube from Charlotte and transformed into Kid Danger. Schwoz flew me to Swellview Park to stop Drex and maybe stop him from murdering Jasper. 

I got to the park in the Man Copter, hovering over Swellview Park. I wasn't too high up, but I noticed a figure hiding under the playground set in a crouching position. 

"Peek-a-boo."

I turned Drex around and punched him just once in the face. I told Jasper to run, and when he did, Drex stood up. Drex tried to punch me, but since I had fast reflexes, I was able to dodge each of his swings. That is until he called out to the figure hiding under the playground. 

"Get him!"

The figure ran out and my hands fell to my sides. It was Aria, and she was charging towards me, knocking me straight off my feet. I collapsed to the ground on my back, my arm bent from Aria's grasp. I kicked her legs and watched her topple over onto the ground. 

She grabbed a hold of me again and lifted me over her shoulder, throwing me across the playground and landing at Jasper's feet. I looked up at him as his eyes went wide. Aria was coming towards me. 

"Aria...it's me. This isn't who you are. Focus, you don't want to hurt me." I pinned her arms to the side.

Her eyes shifted back and forth from a red to a brown repeatedly until her body fell to the ground. She started shaking, then just seconds later, she sat up, grabbing at the side of her head. 

"Aria?"

I heard breathing from behind me, so I stood up and punched Drex in the face, knocking him to the ground and falling unconscious. I geared my attention back to Aria, her eyes back to the normal brown color they'd always been.

"I-I'm so sorry Hen- Kid Danger," she started as she stood up, then whispered in my ear, "I love you."

I finally had Aria back. Drex  would no longer be a threat to us anymore, as of right now. I ran Aria and I back to the Man Cave and watched as Ray took off the gigantic box from his head.

Aria

I woke up, not being able to move my arms. They were tied up behind a chair in a darkened rectangular room. The walls were made out of cement, with only one window present. 

The door that was across from me swung open, revealing a dark figure. The figure walked towards me, a deep, dark laugh escaping his lips. When the light became visible on the figure, I wasn't surprised to see Drex in front of me. 

"Well, well, well. Looks like Aria's awake." 

I shifted my body, trying to somehow break the chair or untie the rope. I bent my hands up and deliberately tried to untie myself, but I couldn't because the knot was tied tight.

"Now, you're going to tell me where the Man Cave is." Drex said, kneeling down so we were eye level. I rolled my eyes at him.

"And why in the world would I do that?" I growled, using my foot to swing it back up and kick Drex. He fell over in pain, so I stood up and dropped back on the ground, breaking the chair beneath me. 

Drex grabbed a hold of my leg and tripped me, then injected some type of green, glowing liquid into my arm. I screeched in pain, feeling the liquid move at lightning speed through my whole body.

My eyes rolled to the back of my head, my torso lifting up from the ground, then slamming back down in pain. I screamed once more, then the pain went away. 

"You're going to fight Ray and his boyish sidekick."

I smirked evilly, standing up to stretch out my arms and legs. Drex left the room, then came back minutes later with two weapons; one latched his belt, the other in his hands. I took the one from Drex's hand. 

I walked out of the room and into the hallway, Drex hot on my tail. I turned back towards him, smirked, and tested out the weapon Drex gave me.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go."

I followed Drex as he made his way to Junk N' Stuff. I stayed outside and followed closely behind as Jasper's shirt was held onto by Drex. I laughed to myself a few times before actually shutting up. I hid underneath the playground as I waited for my cue. 

I saw Kid Danger landing on the ground by a rope thrown out from a helicopter. I smirked again, getting my blaster ready as Kid Danger approached Drex, grabbing his arm and spinning him around. 

I watched as Kid Danger moved really fast to dodge Drex's punches. As soon as I heard my cue, I ran out from under the playground and tackled Kid Danger to ground. 

I had his arm pinned down, but he moved around and kicked my legs from the back. I toppled over on the ground. I stood up and lifted Kid Danger up over my shoulder and threw him across the playground. 

"Aria...it's me. This isn't who you are. Focus, you don't want to hurt me." I pinned her arms to the side.

My arms were pinned down to my side as Kid Danger held me in place, not letting me move around him. I squirmed, my body shaking uncontrollably. I fell to the ground, my head pounding. After seconds of lying on the ground, I didn't feel the urge to fight.

"Aria?" 

I looked up at Kid Danger, then my eyes widened as Drex came up behind him. He turned around and knocked Drex unconscious to the ground. 

"I-I'm so sorry Hen- Kid Danger," she started as she stood up, then whispered in my ear, "I love you."

He picked me up and we ran back to the Man Cave, Jasper soon following behind us. We got there just in time to see Ray start to take off the gigantic box off of his head, his eyes adjusting to the light. 

"Wait- what happened with Drex?" Ray asked, his expression changing in a quick matter of seconds. 

"Oh, Henry brought him here."

Ray jumped up from the circular chair, "Drex is here?"

He spun around and yelped at the sight of Drex. The news footage came on of when Henry beat the crap out Drex, then proceeded to spank him.

"Spanky, spanky, spank your butt, doo dah, doo dah. Spanky, spanky, spank your butt, all the doo dah day. Spank your butt all night, spank your butt all day! Spank your butt until it's red and sore, wow I hate your face!" 

We all sang and danced around Drex, knowing that he couldn't do anything about it, even if he wanted too.
