Hi All!

WOW! We've reached the end of "The Secretary and Her Boss!" And per usual, I am shocked to be here.

None of this would have happened without you readers! All of your theories, sassy and hilarious comments, your encouragement, and demands for MORE CHAPTERS! There were days where I wrote a cliff hanger or a romantic moment thinking... "I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO READ THIS PART!" You all have THE BEST reactions! So, thank you for inspiring me to write SOOOOO much faster and for being a part of this journey!

A special shout out to Wattpad for creating such an amazing platform that allows writers to express themselves to such a large audience around the world. I used to fill notebooks with stories that no one ever saw, and now I get to be here, sharing my fifth SEASON GIRLS book with all of you. It's incredible!

I wasn't going to write another Season Girls story after 'The Journalist and Her Actor.' In fact, I was never intending to write another Season Girls book after 'The Author and Her Bodyguard.' Tate was originally supposed to be a character without much personality but when I started writing him, he lept up off the page, yanked away my notes and took off running, writing his own story— which inspired 'The CEO and Her Driver,' which then lead to the creation of Laurence Royal. A serious man with a serious crush and a terrible way of expressing it. 

And after everyone read 'The CEO and Her Driver,' I knew I couldn't leave Laurence with things the way they were. He deserved a better ending than that. So with that desire in mind, Lily Autumns was born. 

Lily's story was inspired by Allie, the girl who is brave and brash and beautiful and knows she is. We first met Lily in 'The CEO and Her Driver' Allie's story, (and if you haven't read it, I suggest you do!) where she is a girl in the wings, waiting to be noticed.

When Lily walked onto the page at the end of Allie's story, I knew I had found my leading lady. The girl who would change everything for Laurence. The girl who would grow into a confident person and would challenge Laurence to grow too.

Lily's story starts off with the question, "Am I worthy of being loved even when others say 'I'm not?'"

This story is for those who struggle to believe in themselves, who struggle to find the beauty inside, and are often left believing the lies that people tell them. It's for those who are still learning to surround themselves with people who lift them up, who are learning to speak and think kindly of themselves and who are still learning that they are worth fighting for. 

This story was a new kind of tricky to write because Lily and Laurence were so ready to fall into each other that I had to keep going back and editing things to make sure they worked on themselves before they jumped in, potentially ruining things between them with their insecure baggage. 

Lily needed to learn to love herself, to surround herself with the right people, and Laurence needed to learn to allow others into his world, to let others help him when he stumbled. It's so important to have others in your life. You need your crew of supporters, and it was so fun getting to explore what that would look like through my other Season Girls and potential future leading ladies!

Laurence and Lily have a whole lotta history, which was new for me. I LOVE a good meet cute, and most of my other characters are meeting each other when you meet them. But these two had been around each other for three years when our story begins. So their chemistry was already there, and it was a whole lotta crackling heat and a whole lotta cute that I had to keep reigned in until things were ready! 

And here we are... at the end of this book, and the end of the SEASON GIRLS. *A moment of silence for that sentence which was VERY hard to write.* For real this time. This is ACTUALLY the last Season Girls book. 

I know you have come to love Lily, Laliana, Allie, Delle, Em— all of their love interests along with Prism, Bex, Dash and of course all of Lily's brothers as much as I do. And I am so touched that you have stuck with it to the very end.

As you all know, I've never been a fan of writing out the words "The End," in a story because I have NEVER been a fan of goodbyes. It makes it sound like forever, and I love the potential for MORE. I have been asked quite a few times what I will be doing next, and if any of the other characters in this story will get a chance to shine, and WEEEEEEELLLL...

Even though the Season Girls is done, there is another story or two... or three I'd like to tell with SOME of these characters!

But instead of Laliana, Allie, Delle, Em, or Lily being front and center... 

Decker is finally gonna take the spotlight, showcasing his life as Detective, chasing a master thief across the world, only to find himself falling in love with the very person he is supposed to catch.
