Lewis woke up feeling a cold and empty space next to him, he noticed lani left and he started thinking maybe she wasnt happy with him. lewis turned over to get out of bed when he noticed the note on the night stand so he opened the letter

"sorry about leaving so early but I had a family emergency , I had a great time last night! text me when you wake up -lani" he smiled reading the note, feeling at peace that she didnt regret last night

he got up and showered as he had a busy today. he had to go home and pack for the flight tomorrow for the race this weekend. he wanted to invite lani to it but he didnt know if she wanted to go or would be able to attend. he got dressed and left out the house to his garage where he got into a car and drove to his friends house

he pulled into miles' driveway and walked into the house "miles you home?" he yelled loud enough that he can hear him "why you yelling?" he said laughing, he walked up to his friend and dapped him

"last night was crazy" miles said just thinking about last nights event "who knew kehlani could fight" he laughed, lewis was surprised at how good she could fight, never suspecting her to be the type.  "when she threw the plate at her sisters head I was low key scared, mate" miles said getting up and going into the refrigerator

"I tried to hold her hands but damn she is strong" lewis told him, he didnt think she was gonna be that hard to stop but she was "I knew the minute she dragged that girl across the table" he said "the chair being picked up made me kinda scared of her" miles said "where did you go after everything calmed down?" he looked at his friend who was looking happy as ever

"what's up? why you looking so damn happy, huh?" miles said looking at his friend confused, lewis couldn't wipe the smile he had on his face off. "I went to talk to lani" he said with a big smile, he looked at him and realized what was going on so he started smiling too

"she said she loved me" he said to miles who jumped up with excitement "shut the fuck up! you serious?" he looked at lewis "after that she rambled on and I kissed her and one thing lead to another....we made love" miles mouth dropped to the floor, this was his first time hearing his friend say 'made love'

"im happy for you man I know how much she meant to you and seeing yall being together" miles said "no we're not together yet, but I plan on asking her soon tho" he said to miles, he wanted to ask her this morning but she had left so he thought about asking her at the race when he maybe sees her

"im gonna ask her at the race" he said "I want to do something special for her so im going to plan something out" lewis told miles "what's your plan?" miles looked at him confused "im not saying but just know you'll see" he said to miles, lewis looked down at his phone and noticed the time "shit I gotta go before Ang gets mad at me" he said as he got up, dapped up his friend and walked out the house driving back to his house

KEHLANI ✨

lani walked into her house hearing yelling coming from the kitchen "eve you're always fucking defending that bitch" she could hear flo yelling "shut the fuck UP!" ak yelled at both sisters "no I won't fucking shut up! im so sick of yall allowing that bitch to speak ill on our mother and then to attack me" flo said angrily

lani started walking closer to the room "you guys always come to her defense nobody ever sees the type of person she is" flo pleaded with everyone "what type of person am I flo?" lani said making everyone look her way "flo thats enough" eve said to flo "no eve let her finish" lani said as she looked flo

she waited for flo to speak "go ahead say it, what kind of person am I?" she said folding her arms to her chest "mom told me everything from the drugs she had to stop you from taking to the abortion" everyone eyes widened expect for lanis and aks, they both just looked unfazed by her words

lani knew exactly what she was talking about but flo clearly didnt because their mother never informed her the truth about the drugs nor the abortion, lani thought back to that day as if it was yesterday

FLASHBACK

15 YEAR OLD KEHLANI

lani was walking home from school by herself, ak couldn't be here today because of business and she knew what that meant. he offered for someone else to pick her up but she assured him she was fine walking home

she was pulled into the house and thrown on the floor, tears had started coming down her face as she turned and saw her mother and some random guy "hold her down" she told the guy, he looked at lani but did as he was told and he held her down

she started kicking and screaming hoping someone would hear her "stop fucking moving you little bitch" the guy said as he struggled to keep her down. Lani's mother walked up to her with some type of needle in her hand "this gonna make you feel so good and calm and easy" she said smiling lani looked at the needle

"nooo let me go!!!" she screamed trying to get out of his grip but it was too late, her mother stuck her with the needle and after only a minute, everything around lani started going blurry and she felt like she couldn't move "what did you give her?" the guy said to her "dont worry about that, just know shes high enough that she won't move" she said to him

she smiled down her daughter "pay up and hurry up, her brother will be home soon" she said as the guy gave her some money, lani was watching everything. she felt like she was in a dream that she couldn't move around, couldn't fight back. "please.... stop..." she said weakly, they looked at her and her mother laughed "see she can barely talk now so do it" she said to him as she walked out the door

he turned and smirked down at her rubbing his hands together. he started unbuckling his belt and lowering his pants. he bent down, took her pants off and started to kiss on her neck. lani tried to move but she couldn't feel her limbs. "please" she pleaded with guy as tears fell down

he didnt listen to her as he ripped her panties off and got on top of her. she could feel his manhood at her entrance and the tears came down fast. she felt so helpless and without warning he jammed himself into her, her eyes slamming shut in pain. his grunts could be heard throughout the house

her brother stopped in his tracks when he saw his half naked sister laying on the floor in a pool of blood. he turned around and grabbed a blanket and threw it on her quickly before he picked her up "lani look at me" he said, she opened her eyes and tears came down "i'm sorry" she said softly, he didn't understand why she was apologizing to him

he was sorry for letting her be in the house by herself "yooo get the fucking door" he yelled to his friend they saw a badly bruised lani in his arms and opened the door before they all got in "go to the hospital now" he looked down at his sister, she had never seen her brother cry and today was the first day she did "who did this to you" he said to her in tears "mom.." she said before she passed out...

she snapped out of her thoughts when she heard her brother aks voice, he slammed his hand on the countertop "i'm sick of you flo.... you are always doing this shit to prove what!" he yelled at her, lani stared at her sister waiting for her answer "you're trying to prove to everyone that bitch you call a fucking mother is the best!!"

he moved towards her and was in her face "what the fuck did that dead beat of a bitch ever do for you or any of us huh?!" he said looking down at her "she is trying to be better ak" he laughed at her response "to be better? for what? matter fact you brought such a good example up on why she's a good mother" lani looked at him confused at his words and flo looked at her sister smiling knowing she finally got to him

"such a good mother that she would try to sell her 10 year old daughter to a pimp and dealer for a 40 rock just to get high" flo face dropped "a good mother that would set her son up to get locked up because he refused to give her anymore drugs" he looked at her "a good mother that would take money from a grown man to rape her 15 year old daughter who ended up pregnant" everyone in the room was looking at lani and back at AK

"what!" they all turned their head to the kitchen door, lewis, lexi and charles were standing by the door. she could see the hurt in lexis eyes while lewis looked so disgusted with flo, he had an angry look on his face

"the only thing that bitch give us was trauma and pain, she was never good fucking mother like i told you earlier she's lucky i didn't fucking kill her ass when i had the chance" he yelled at flo

"then why did you spare her huh? it's because you still loved her" she said as she grabbed his hand, he pulled away and laughed "i spared her because she was already was pregnant with Brandon and i wasn't gonna take her life because of that; he saved her from meeting her maker" he said to her looking her up and down

"you keep this shit up flo, i promise ill forget you're my sister and ill beat you till you're black and blue" he said pushing past her and walking out the kitchen. everyone turned to kehlani and everyones face just softened
