Chapter 12: My beloved

~Charlotte's POV~

"Drew..." I said trailing off.

"Wait- before you say anything I need to let you know something. The thing I was smelling is the scent of a Vampire. A very strong vampire has been by you. Stronger than me and Charlie I'm a Royal vampire." Drew said and I couldn't help but notice how arrogant he sounded.

"Charlie... Why does it sound like your heartbeat is slowing down?" Drew asked worried. He put his hand on my heart and frowned.

" Are you feeling okay?"He asked suddenly very worried and I nodded.

"Drew, I have to tell you-"

"Are you sure your-"

"Bloody hell Drew stop cutting me off!" I said putting my hand on his mouth.

"Sorry." He mumbled as I pulled my hand off.

"But honestly Charlotte your scaring me. Are you okay? You even look really pale. Lets go get you to the nurse's office." Drew said rambling on and on and I was officially annoyed. I pulled his hand off of me.

"Drew!" I said trying to get his attention but he kept talking and I hissed.

"Drew can you shut the hell up for 5 minutes! I have been trying to tell you I'm a Vampire too." I yelled and he continued talking but stopped when he heard what I said.

"What? No your not. I can turn you maybe eventually when we complete the whole process of you being my Beloved and stuff if you honestly want to be damned for the rest of your life." He said frowning at me and I let out a hiss of frustration.

"I'm a Royal Pureblood Vampire from Maplewood." I said and his frown deepened.

"No you not. Thats impossible. You have a heartbeat and your body is warm." He said but it sounded as if he was trying to convince his self.

"I have a spell put on me a few decades ago by a witch to make me have a heartbeat and so every time I drink blood my body temperature will be like a normal humans and the spell also made me have a normal tan skin like other humans." I said and he just stared at me for a moment seeming completely shocked.

"If you know about Maplewood and..if what your saying is true then that means we can be together." He said as he stopped walking.

"But wait a second. Their is only one vampire in Maple wood that is a Royal Pureblood and she is the princess that everyone is looking for and damn that's you isn't it." He said looking worried and I sighed but nodded slowly.

"Yea,that princess is me. But you can't tell anyone." I said seriously.

"I won't. That could put you in danger. I would never put you, my beloved in danger. I will always protect you." He said just as serious.

"Your a prince aren't you?" I stated. I already basically knew the answer by how he acted. Most Vampire princes and future Kings are very protected and Possessive of their Beloveds.Kind of like how an Alpha is protective of his Luna. If you haven't figured it out yet someone's Beloved is the same as a soulmate. Just the difference is that I'm a girl so to him I would be his beloved and since he is obviously a guy he would be my Soulmate.

"Yup. I'm the hot, sexy, Prince of the Burton community." He said arrogantly.

"I see you being arrogant wasn't an act." I said Rollin my eyes and he just smirked

"Of course not babe. I don't act." He said a matter of factly and I ignored him as we got into his car.

"Charlotte?" Drew suddenly asked sounding confused.

"Yea?" I replied while searching through my purse, looking for my phone.

"If you have that spell on you then why can I smell you perfectly clear that your now a vampire. Your the scent I have been faintly smelling." He said as his eyes widen and mine did to as I stopped looking through my purse and looked up at him.

"Wait, did you just say you can tell that I'm a vampire?" I asked now nervous.

"Yea. You barely have a heartbeat and I can smell that your obviously a pureblood vampire." He said as he started the car.

"This is not good." I said quickly as I searched for my phone. When I finally found my phone I took it out and seen I have a text message from my mother. But before I pressed open pain spread through my body and I was soon gasping for air. I don't need air obviously because I'm counted as dead but the pain I felt through my body was excruciating. I was holding on to the dashboard as I started coughing and basically wheezing. I doubt it was a pretty sight. I held onto my stomach feeling like I've just been stabbed.

"Charlotte? What's wrong? Whats going on?" Drew asked quickly pulling over to the side of the road. I couldn't respond as I felt another wave of excruciating burning pain spread through out my body.

"Don't worry Charlie, I'll get you to the doctors right away."Drew said determined as he quickly started the car and started speeding towards a way I've never been before. He held onto my hand and black spots started to block my vision and my eyes slowly starting closing on their own.

"Charlie you have to keep your eyes open. Dammit Charlotte,you can't die on me." He said with pain in his voice. I would of responded that I'm fine but we both knew I wasn't. The burning started again and I cried out in pain. I felt like I was being tied to a pole in the scorching hot sun light.

"Charlotte what do you feel? C'mon baby what hurts?" Drew asked panicking as he swerved a little to look at me.

"Drew." I gasped. My phone was now long forgotten and was laying on the floor while the black spots were starting to become worse and my eyes officially closed on there own.

"Charlotte!" I heard Drew yelled but it sounded like a mere whisper as I started to fall into darkness.

~Drew's POV~

If I was a human I would of had a heart attack by now. I wasn't concentrating on anything but Charlotte as her eyes closed and she screamed out in pain. I pulled up to my house or palace or whatever you want to call it and quickly ran over to her side and picked her up not even bothering to shut off the car or shut the doors. I used my vampire speed and sped through the house towards the infirmary. Her body was very hot but it didn't seem to bother me as I was too worried.

"Prince Drew. Whats wrong?" The doctor Eric asked as I quickly sped into the room and set Charlotte on the bed. He rushed to her side and touched her forehead but hissed and removed his hand.

"She's burning up." He said holding his hand.

"Help her!" I yelled commanding him and he quickly nodded running over to his equipment.

"I'm gonna need you to back up your majesty." He said looking worried that I was gonna yell at him again. I hissed at him as I seem a needle in his hand.

"Drew, what is the meaning of all this yelling?"My mother asked walking in to the infirmary. She gasped as she see's Charlotte laying on the bed.

"Is this your Beloved?" My mother asks carefully walking over slowly and I hiss at her and she stopped walking.I didn't even trust my own mother at the moment. I felt as if she could hurt my poor baby.

"Drew, I understand your very protective of her right now but you have to let Eric help her." She said carefully as Charlotte let out a hiss of pain. Her eyes were still closed and I stared at her small body frowning when I seen her eyebrows furrowed in pain. I sighed but nodded stepping away from her. My eyes didn't leave her face as I stepped back watching her carefully. Scared that she may scream in pain again. Oh Charlotte what is going on with you.

A/N: The beginning of this chapter sucked but I personally thought It got better towards the end. I know I kind of left you all on another cliff hanger which iI'm terribly sorry for.
