"Ok class before we talk about today's activities, Chloe would like to say something to you all," Ms. Bustier said.

Chloe walked in front of everyone and took a deep breath, "Hey guys I wanted to apologize for everything I've ever done to you. I don't expect you to forgive me this easily but I hope you know that I mean it. I also wanted to apologize to some people. Adrien, I'm really, really, really sorry for invading your space. You're my longest friend and I'm really sorry for treating you like an object. I guess you were just the brother I've never had and I wanted to keep you close forever. Again really sorry and I hope you forgive me someday."

Adrien smiled, "Chloe, it may take some time for me to trust you again but I definitely forgive you."

Chloe nodded, "I can live with that. Now Nath is it ok if I call you that again? I want to apologize for shutting you out, I was jealous because you and Marinette had the perfect families while mine was broken and my dad didn't even spend time with me and my mom left. So for every time I was mean to you and for shutting you out I'm sorry."

Nathaniel smiled, "Chloe, you were going through a rough time and you responded to it wrong. I can't be mad at you for that so yes, I forgive you." Chloe smiled and gave him a hug and he hugged back.

Chloe took her place back in the front and continued, "Now Sabrina, I was a horrible friend to you and I treated you like a servant. I'm really sorry and I understand if you don't want to be my best friend anymore."

Sabrina gave Chloe a hug, "Nothing and no one can stop me from being friends with you." They hug and Sabrina goes back to her place.

"Now last but not least, Marinette. Where do I start. I'm sorry for shutting you out, for being mean to you, and everything else. I was jealous of you. Your family was perfect, loving, caring, and sweet. You had everything I wanted so I just wanted you to feel what I felt. I also tried to make you feel jealous because the boy I like likes you. So of course it hurt and I knew he would never feel the same unless I went back to the old me. So Marinette will you forgive me?"

Marinette walked up to Chloe wrapping her in to a big hug, "Nice to have you back Chlo also tell who the boy is later."

Chloe hugged back after recovering from the shock, "Glad to be back Mari Berry, also it's Nath."

Everyone except Nathaniel was shocked to see that Marinette and Chloe were best friends once but they join the hug anyway.

After everyone settled down Ms. Bustier took over again, "Chloe I'm proud of you and I cannot wait to see you like this everyday. Anyway as you know there is a ball today. We can not join so I want everyone to either stay in their rooms or someone else's. We will be eating in my room unless you want to eat by yourself. I will see you guys at lunch now go!"

The class except Adrien, Nino, Alya, and Marinette all gathered in Chloe and Sabrina's room while the foursome went to Marinette and Adrien's room.

"Ok Al, we are free until lunch when we eat with the rest of my family, then I have "meeting" with the prince so you can hang with Nino until our dress fitting and then the ball," Marinette listed.

"Ok slow down you'll be fine and since we have some free time why don't we just relax," Alya said.

"Ok let's relax. How about a spa hour?" Marinette asked.

Alya nodded and headed to the bathroom to setup. Meanwhile the boys were playing video games like there was nothing important happening.

"This is nice, I needed a break," Adrien said after winning for the 4th time.

"I've got your back dude, even though you keep defeating me," Nino said.

Adrien laughed, "Up for another round of me defeating you?"

"Bring it on!" Nino exclaimed and they play on.

Soon it was lunch and Adrien, Marinette, Alya, and Nino headed to the family dining room. They wore something casual but it still had style.

"Hey guys sit down!" Tikki said while Plagg snickered. They were right about the teasing and Plagg was still not over it. They all sat down.

"Wow you two look refreshed," Bri said.

"Thanks, we had a spa hour," Marinette replied.

"Yup this girl needs a break. Class president, secret princess, and soon the Queen of France," Alya said.

Marinette's eyes widened, "Oh no I forgot about the class prez thing. What am I gonna do! Everyone is gonna hate me because they'll think I abandoned them. They'll never talk to me again and they'll have lady Pinocchio be class president. My life is over!"

Everyone facepalmed except Nino and Adrien who just stared at her blankly.

"Girl no one is gonna hate you and please no way is the class gonna vote for Liar she is a demon is disguise. Also you heard what the class thinks about you, they'll be glad that you're using your leadership qualities for the whole France and not just one class." Alya said.

Marinette gave her a big hug, "You're the best!"

She then sat down and started eating along with everyone else except Adrien who still stared at her blankly.

Felix caught him staring, "Oh yea you are gonna have to deal with that often. She is very self conscious and she shouldn't be. She is adored by many so she should be happy with who she is."

Everyone nodded and Marinette smiled, "Stop it you guys are gonna make me cry but thank you. Also, Felix that may be the longest I've heard you talk."

Felix rolled his eyes but smiled. They all finished their food and Bridgette sent Mari and Adrien to change and go on their "meeting".

After changing, Adrien and Marinette meet up in the courtyard. They sat down on the chair swing and looked around for hiding spots.

Adrien saw a wall and pointed at it, "LB, look behind the wall!"

Marinette walked behind the wall and saw Bridgette and Alya sitting there smiling sheepishly.

Marinette put on a big smile and said, "Hey guys, I thought it was only us in the meeting but if you're joining too then come on. We were just about to discuss the kingdom's plan, do you want give us some tips?"

Bridgette glared, "No, not at all, get your own tips, we're leaving, bye." Bri grabbed Alya's arm and stomped out.

"Well you handled that well," Adrien said.

"It's kinda what they do, snoop. At least Tikki is mature enough to give me privacy. Though she does tease me sometimes," Marinette said.

"Well then shall we M'lady?" Adrien asked.

Marinette giggled, "We shall."

They sat back down on the swing but instead of talking they just stared at the ground.

A few minutes later, Adrien finally broke the silence, "Do you remember anything from when we were little? Like when we hung out or were just around each other?"

"I don't think so. We may left at 10 but we wore masks around each other at 6. Though I do remember playing superheroes with a blonde and green eyed boy and I'm gonna assume it was you. What was your name?" Marinette asked.

"I remember that too! My mom made us costumes, you ironically had a ladybug themed one and your name was... ladybug. Oh wow Bri is so creative," Adrien laughed.

Marinette smiled, "Right you were Chat Noir. Bri named us our own made up names. The only one she made up was Rena and Carapace!"

They laugh and talk some more. "Hey those were the days where Felix acted obnoxious. He said a bunch of puns, so did you and Plagg. What's with you brothers and puns?" Marinette said.

Adrien smirked, "There is nothing wrong with puns, and my puns are especially punny." (A/N: I'm not good at puns, so sorry 🤷‍♀️)

Marinette groaned, "Whyyyyyyyy!!!!!"

The pair laughed once more. For awhile, they just sat there talking about their childhood and what it was like when they left.

"I can't believe I can't remember your name," Marinette sighed.

Adrien nodded, "Yeah, but I think I remember calling you... was it M- Ma- Mar yeah no clue."

Marinette laughed, "You're close but not there yet."

They talked for a few more minutes until Marinette's phone dinged. She takes her phone and sees what it is, "Oh I need to get ready. See you!"

"The ball isn't for another hour?" Adrien said confused.

Marinette smiled, "Well us girls take lots of time to get ready."

"Oh ok bye?" Adrien said still confused on why it takes that long.

Marinette shook her head and giggled while waving goodbye. She then rushed off to her parents' room where Bridgette, Tikki, and Alya were waiting. Her parents weren't going to be here until tomorrow night, so they were borrowing their room since it was the biggest. The boys were going to use their parents' room so it worked out.

"So how was it?" Bri asked.

"How was what?" Marinette asked innocently.

"You know the meeting!" Bridgette exclaimed.

Marinette smirked, "Oh yes the meeting, it was good. We talked about our next step in ruling and stuff like that."

Bridgette groaned but Alya doesn't play along, "Ok yeah we get it, you won't kiss and tell."

"I-buh-wha-NO!! W-We didn't k kiss!" Marinette stuttered.

"Ok girls leave her alone we got to get ready," Tikki said being the responsible one.

Alya and Bri nodded reluctantly, "Fineeee."

They all laugh and start getting ready. An hour later the girls were completely ready. Tikki was wearing a red and black dress with a red skirt and black bodice. It was long sleeved and the skirt was straight but still had some poof. Bridgette was wearing a strapless blue dress with white stones on her bodice. It had more poof then Tikki's but it still was elegant. Alya was wearing a strapless orange dress that had a straight skirt with the tiniest bit of poof. Marinette was wearing an off shoulder pink dress that showed her knee in the front, but it descended down to the floor in the back. They were completely ready for this ball. Alya and Marinette put on their masks and the girls walked to the staircase leading to the ballroom. Tikki explained to Alya what to do and Bridgette tried to calm Marinette's nerves. Soon the boys got there and the announcer started shushing people.

"What took you guys so long?" Bri whispered.

"Someone didn't know it would take 30 minutes to get ready," Adrien whispered giving a pointed look to Nino who was smiling sheepishly.

"I usually take 10 minutes to just get ready for something formal," Nino said defensively.

"Welcome to our life," the royals groaned.

The announcer started talking, "I'd like to announce the royals now so please pay attention. I announce King Plagg and Queen Tikki of China!"

Plagg took Tikki's hand and led her down the staircase. They curtsied and bowed and the guests applauded.

The announcer took a deep breath, "King Felix and Queen Bridgette of England!"

Felix and Bridgette did the same thing as Plagg and Tikki and the guests applauded.

"Now our Crown Princess and Prince of France!"

Adrien took Marinette's hand and led her down the staircase with Alya and Nino trailing behind. When they reached the bottom, Alya and Nino joined the crowd while they applauded the crown prince and princess.

"Thank you all for being here today, it is France's first ball in many years and we're glad you came. We hope you have an excellent time!" Marinette and Adrien announced. The crowd dispersed with only some remaining in front of them.

"Guys over here!" Plagg and Tikki called and Mari, Adrien, Alya, and Nino go over.

"Well sis, you've met them before but the rest of you haven't so this is my lady-in-waiting Trixx, and this is Plagg's gentleman in waiting Wayzz," Tikki said gesturing to two people.

Trixx had orange hair with white tips and her eyes were purple. Wayzz had greenish grey hair and his eyes were green. They shook hands with Adrien, Nino, and Alya and then hugged Marinette. You know the saying opposites attract. That definitely worked out with Tikki and Plagg but it also worked out with Wayzz and Trixx. Trixx was loud, Wayzz was quiet. Wayzz was also their advisor.

They talked with them for a few minutes until Bri and Felix called them over, "Hey guys, these are our friends. This is my lady in waiting, Allegra, this is Felix's gentleman in waiting, Claude, and this is our advisor Allan."

Allegra looked exactly like Chloe but she had less makeup. Claude had brown hair and blue eyes and Allan looked exactly like Nino except older.

Marinette and Adrien gasped and everyone looked at them worriedly, "Fe you have friends?!?"

Felix glared at them, everyone laughed, and Mari and Adrien fist bump. "Pound it!" They say and everyone laughs even more except Alya and Nino.

"What's so funny?" Marinette asked.

"Well when you were younger you played superheroes and whenever you defeated the villain you said pound it," Allegra said still laughing.

The pair smiled at each other and laughed with everyone else. The night went on with everyone having fun, and Bri took a bunch of pictures of Mari and Adrien slow dancing and sent them to Alya.
