On the 31st October 1981, The Potter family survived the killing curse thrown by Voldemort (James didn't forget his wand on the couch — insert round of applause)

Peter Pettigrew was sent to Azkaban after attempting to put the blame on Sirius Black. The Potter's (+ co ) were safe, Sirius was innocent.

Voldemort was no longer a threat.

However, whilst the drama of the Wizarding World was happening, at St Mungos, Rosalie Magnolia Greengrass was born on the 1st of November, 1980 — Four months after the chosen one had been born. The baby girl was the outcome of a one night stand between James Potter and Andrea Greengrass. James broke up with Lily Evans due to stress of the war, coped with alcohol and ended up sleeping with her.

Andrea kept it a secret from James and not telling any of her family who the real father was due to fear of disownment so when she got married to a man called Sebastian, the child was known to be his.

Andrea had told her daughter the truth about him not being her actual father, trusting her daughter (for once) with her biggest secret. Rosa knows the man is her step-dad, it's a secret kept between the three of them, but she doesn't know who her actual father is — her mother wouldn't tell her that much.

Whilst Harry Potter lived his life as the growingly famous 'boy who lived'  Rosalie Greengrass lived as the first to be in Gryffindor (Sirius crying rn) with her Slytherin, pureblood relatives.

That all suddenly changed the first day of fourth year, Where the truth starts to finally come out.

Rosalie's birthday is November 1st 1980. James and Lily had broken up around late January in 1980, due to stress of the war, thinking it was the right decision. They didn't know that Lily was pregnant and when Lily found out they had a conversation, realised breaking up was a bad decision and had gotten back together — James completely forgetting to mention what he had done in that time period when they had broken up.

He had slept with a Slytherin he always knew to be the 'hot girl' from the year above. She had been told about an arranged marriage that she was forced to do for the Greengrass name but she didn't want to do it. She would rather marry for love then marry some worthless man but sadly she had to. After the conversation, she headed straight to her furthest local — not wanting to be seen by any family members. James was heartbroken at the breakup with the love of his life, especially after losing his Reggie, he would never be able to cope if he were to lose his Lily-flower too. Andrea and James met, had a meaningful conversation about why they were at the bar and then one thing led to another and. .

Rosalie was here with her dramatic entrance ready and waiting!

Harry and Rosalie are in the same year, He is around five months older than her and they are half siblings. James is Rosalie's father, Andrea is Rosalie's mother. Sebastian is her step-father and Lily is her step-mother.
