Rising Sun was Thunder Roar's friend. It had been 2 moons when the three traitors were killed. He was in the FoxEater Raiders team. Also, he was Thunder Roar's friend, and Blue Mist was his crush. The grief that had been carried with him when Blue Mist died still clung to him. He would visit the Hall Of Heroes to pray for her. Now, in his nest, he would cry softly. At last, he fell into an uneasy sleep. 

"Wake up, Rising Sun." he heard a familiar voice. 

"Blue Mist!" he leaped to his feet. She was not more than a ghostly outline. "It's good to see you! Do you have anything to tell me?"

"Yes." Blue Mist tipped her head to one side. "I want to share this with you, that we Heavenly Foxies are nervous, and you must tell Star Shine. It is something about the Founding FoxEater."

"What about it?"

"We, the Foxies of Heaven, have figured out his name." Blue Mist whispered. "It is, Exploding Sun, and you are his descendant. Because of that, your family has been eating each other. It is done for thousands of years already. And now, you must eat someone. We believe it is Thunder Roar."

"How? He's not a part of my family!" Rising Sun gasped. 

"We don't know why either, but we know that he is special: He can control FoxEaters with his scream, and he can also turn into one. So, you must eat him. It has something to do with your father, Setting Sun. Be careful, Rising Sun. Kidnappers are up to their sleeves." Blue Mist's voice was barely audible. 

Rising Sun woke up. Dawn light shone through the gaps in the den wall. "Blue Mist!" he gasped. "I need to tell Snow Fall this!" he knew that Snow Fall was Blue Mist's twin. He padded over to her nest. Right next to her nest, was Thunder Roar's nest. They had mated, all right. He gently shook Snow Fall.

"Huh? What is it?" Snow Fall grunted, standing up on her nest and stretching. 

"I saw Blue Mist in my dreams. She told me that......" Rising Sun told Snow Fall what Blue Mist told him. 

"What?!?" Snow Fall gasped. "We'd better tell Thunder Roar!" she dashed to his nest and shook him awake. 

"WHAT? YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO EAT ME?!?" Thunder Roar yelped after hearing what Snow Fall told him. "AND YOUR FATHER SETTING SUN IS UP TO SOMETHING? WHAT!!" 

All the Foxies were awake now, staring with horror in their eyes as they stared at Rising Sun. 

"Also, kidnappers are out to kidnap us. I figured out that myself." Rising Sun whispered. 

"AHH! FOXEATERS COMING! 10 OF THEM!" Star Shine's yell sounded through the den wall. All the Foxies hurried out. 

Rising Sun stared at Thunder Roar. Thunder Roar sighed, nodded at him, and went out. 

After a long battle, 8 of the FoxEaters were lying on the ground, blood pooling around their bodies. The last two were more powerful than Fire Whirl's FoxEater. 

"NO! LEAF TAIL!" He shrieked. One of them had plucked up Leaf Tail by his cape. How hard Leaf Tail struggled, he couldn't make the FoxEater let go. 

"I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU DIE, LEAF TAIL!" Thunder Roar shot forwards, and let out a bloodcurdling scream. 

Oh, he screamed! Now what? He felt strong, fast paw steps racing towards them. A big FoxEater burst out from the trees and slammed into the FoxEater that was holding Leaf Tail. Wow! He got that FoxEater to attack that FoxEater! 

Finally, the FoxEater was killed, and the FoxEater that Thunder Roar summoned lumbered away. 

Thunder Roar reared up, screaming, and light blinded the battleground. In his place was a huge FoxEater. With a huge roar, he lunged at the other FoxEater. The huge FoxEaters wrestled together on the ground, and then Thunder Roar brought down his fist onto the FoxEater's throat, and the light faded out of that FoxEater's eyes. Thunder Roar turned back to Foxie form.

"Thunder Roar!" Snow Fall rushed over, crying, and buried her muzzle into his fur. 

Oh...... I see...... Blue Mist was correct!
