Alec's POV

"So Stiles I think we should stay here for a while." I saw him visibly tense at those words and he turned pale. He opened his mouth to speak, but I already knew what he was going to say so I beat him to it.

"I know they want to kill you. So we invited Jace and Clary. I know you don't know Clary but she was a last minute decision. Trust me if we had anyone else then I would choose them. Oh and she's bringing her vampire friend along. They are both going to go to school with you while Izzy, Jace, and I will be picking you up after school. If this pack gives you any problems we will deal with it okay?" he nodded nervously. Technically he wasn't supposed to leave until tomorrow anyway so it works perfectly. These jerks better not give Stiles any problems or I swear they will have an arrow through there head before they can even blink.

"So they should be here any---" Before I could even finish my sentence the portal appeared and Jace, Clary, and Simon stepped through. Simon looked like he was about to throw up before he looked around the place.

"Woah this place is awesome. Such a big house." We all laughed at him except for Stiles. Who was looking at him in concern.

"Dude why are you in the sunlight? Aren't you a vampire? Why aren't you burning up?" Now it was time to laugh at Stiles. He didn't know.

"I'm a daylighter. The only kind of vampire that can stand in the sunlight." Stiles stood there shocked.

"So Stiles are you going to say hi to me or have you become to cool to do that as a Mundane?" Stiles waved mockingly at Jace so he grabbed his heart dramatically which made them both laugh. Stiles then turned to Clary..

"So you're the one and only Clary Fairchild eh?" She nodded and held out her hand for him to shake which he took gladly.

"Okay so you two I have one question for you guys that depends on if I like you or not. Do you know what Star Wars is?" Clary nodded. Jace, Izzy, and I all looked confused, and Simon's eyes got so big I thought he was going to explode.

"Are you kidding. I mean they are like the greatest movies of all time. Oh my god what's your favorite say it with me on three. One..Two...Three."

"Empire Strikes Back."  They both said at the same time and gasped.

"Oh my god it's like there's two of them." I said quietly which caused all heads to turn to me.

"What I stand by my statement." They just rolled their eyes and turned back to the nerds. What!?! They are like the same person. If I had known they would geek out this much then I wouldn't have brought Simon with us.

"I think I just found my new favorite person. So are you coming to school with me?" He nodded at him and Stiles got excited.

"Do you want to watch Star Wars with me and Allison." Allison tried to protest but Stiles got to it first.

"Nope sorry Ally you are watching it." She started to pout and Simon nodded his head in agreement.

"Do you have vampire speed?" Simon nodded and they both sped away.

Stiles POV

I had to literally scream the directions from how fast we were going but we eventually made it to the house. I did make him wait though so I could check to see if the pack was there.

Once we were in the house I ran up to my room to grab the original Star Wars box set with numbers four, five, and six. When I showed him which ones we were watching he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Good. For a minute I thought you were going to start with the prequels." I raised my have to my heart in an offended way.

"How dare you accuse me if such crimes. Everyone knows you go in the order of the way they were made. Otherwise it just doesn't make as much sense." He laughed, nodded in agreement and made himself comfortable on the couch. I ran back up to my room and 10 minutes later emerged with blankets, pillows, and plushies all Star Wars themed. He stared at them in awe.

"Hey actually do you have anything I can change into? If we are getting comfortable then I want to be comfortable." I nodded my head and pulled out a set of Star Wars lounge wear. He smiled and gasped in delight and went to change as fast as he could. When we were both into our positions and Star Wars apparel.

By the time Alec and everyone else had finally gotten there we were already halfway through the Return Of The Jedi.

"Hey guys." I said as I paused the movie earning quick protests from Simon.

"So Stiles we figured out living arrangements for the time being. It was tough, but we decided that Izzy, Jace, and Clary are going with Ally since she had the bigger space. Simon and I are going to stay here since you guys look like you are in the middle of something, and I'm not leaving you alone so.. yeah." He explained. I nodded and turned back to the movie. They all rolled their eyes except for Simon who was watching the movie. We were at the part with the Ewoks on Endor. Ewoks were always my favorites. They are just adorable.

"I guess Allison got our of this one this time, but Alec you didn't sit down and watch." I said as I pointed towards the empty couch spot.

"You do realize I'm older than you right and you can't tell me what to do?"

"I understand that I just did so sit down and watch. Or sit there and brude. Either way you are watching it." He actually sat down. I won over Alec. Yes. Finally. I've been waiting for this day to come for years. The little brother takes over the big brother.

About an hour and a half later and the movie was over. Alec was sprawled all over the couch and sleeping. Man he takes up a lot of space. Simon was sleeping soundly, and I was still awake. I just can't sleep. I feel like if I close my eyes then Scott will come and kill me. Also the nightmares. My dad's death was brutal. I haven't told my brother or anyone else what really happened. The only person who knows is Allison. Only because she was there. The rest of the pack doesn't know. They were too busy blaming me for the Nogitsune and Donovan to even care about my feelings.

Flashback

"So dad what case is this? You know the one we're going on." I asked impatiently as I bounced up and down in the seat. Allison sat in the back and rolled her eyes.

"Stiles you know to call me Noah when we aren't around other people. I'm not your actual father. But to answer your question a murderer has been spotted that we have been looking for, for years has been spotted." I nodded knowing this already. Then it hit me. Who was the murderer?

"What's the name on the murderer?" I asked as I squirmed in the seat a little bit.

"Some girl named Camille." I tensed really roughly before exhaling the breath I had been holding. Camille is dead. She's dead and can't hurt us anymore.

"Oh and the boy's name is I think Caleb or something like that. Look they are dangerous. Stay in the car okay?" I looked at him as if he were stupid.

"You do realize that we are shadowhunters right?" I felt bad about asking that, but I had to.

"Yes and you do realize that this is a regular person murderer and not a demon, so your wand things and light up lightsabers won't do anything right?" I heard Allison snicker in the backseat then cough to cover it up.

"What? What did I say?" This made Allison laugh harder.

"You called them wands and lightsabers. They are called Stele's and Seraph Blades. And they are not mystical." He shook his head.

"Fine you guys can come I don't care, but just don't get killed okay?" Me and Ally both nodded insanely.

"Alright we're here. See them over there," he pointed to a pair sitting on the bench,"those are them. Those are the people we have to bring in." I looked to see a couple about middle aged. This would be too easy.

"Okay let's go get em Ally." I said as I started out the car, but I was stopped by a hand grabbing my arm.

"Let go!!" I yelled as I ripped my arm away. This made the couple alert which I didn't realize at the time. They had the advantage and they had a gun pulled on me before I could even turn around.

"Okay look kid. We've killed people before so it's not going to be a hard task to complete now." Then I saw their eyes turn green. Werewolves.

"That's it. You are under arrest for hurting defenseless mundanes. Being downworlders you have the advantage," They looked at me in shock,"yeah that's right. I'm a Shadowhunter. Deal with it." That's when they pulled the trigger. I closed my eyes and waited for the impact, but it never came. When I opened my eyes again I saw my dad fall to the ground. I can't finish this I'm sorry.

Flashback ends

I blink trying to hold back tears but they come anyway. I've been staring at pictures of the pack and I for about 5 minutes. There's this one where we had all come together, and me being me had to get visual proof. In the front there is me, Scott, Allison, and Isaac. In the back were Derek, Jackson, and Liam, and finally off to the right side was Lydia, because she refused to get dirty. This is when we were all happy. Before the Nogitsune and the Chimera's. I don't know why but Malia and Kira aren't in the photo.

It breaks my heart to think if what we are now. The pack that was once connected at the hip couldn't be spread out any farther.

Alec's POV

I've been staring at Stiles for the past like 15 minutes and he's just been staring at the wall. Like if will split in two if he stares long enough. Finally I see another tear slip down his face.

"Stiles?" I call out. He jumps in shock but invites me in anyway.

"I promise you that everything will get better. It won't be long before we are back at the institute and I am kicking your butt just like old times." He laughed. It was so quiet but it was still a laugh. It counts.

I led him to his bed and the thing is he fell asleep the minute his head hit the pillow. How long has it been since he had slept? I'll have to ask him tomorrow. Or since he's eaten anything. He looks so thin.

I guess tomorrow we'll find out what this pack did to my little brother. I already know I'm going to punch someone. I think that it's going to be the Scott kid though. I can already tell.
