"Get out of the way!" Tiny howled as he, Norman and Sweetpea leapt off the motorcycle. The old red tailed hawk who was riding with them jumped straight up, grasping a rope in his beak. Swinging from it, he released his hold and flipped through the air, landing gracefully on his feet on the lift. Seeing the combination lock on Hu and Laohu's cage, he got to work. Meanwhile, the motorcycle hit a ramp and was airborne for a few seconds, sailing over Big Sergei's head, before crashing into some barrels. The back tire hit the gorilla in the face, knocking him out cold. Everyone's jaws dropped.

"Who was that?" Daisy asked, looking up at the hawk. Snowball, shocked, exclaimed, "Hey!" Glancing over at the white rabbit standing next to her, the Shih Tzu replied, "He just knocked out a gorilla with a motorcycle and you're not one bit curious to know who he is?!"

"I feel like I've seen him before..." Chloe muttered.

"Yeah, me too," Buddy agreed.

"Were you at my birthday party last year?!" Pops called to the hawk. Rolling his eyes, the red tail grumbled, "I'm surrounded by idiots..."

"Hi Tiberius!" Mel cried, waving. The old hawk's eyes widened in surprise. Meanwhile, some of the pets remembered as they mumbled, "Oh..." Biting his lip, Pops murmured, "I thought he died."

"I'm right here, listening to every word you're saying!" Tiberius called down to them as he turned the dial on the combination lock. Just then, there was a snarl behind everyone. Turning around, Chloe muttered, "You've got to be kidding me." Limping heavily, Leo's golden eyes blazed with anger. Baring his sharp white fangs, he muttered, "Leo shall feast tonight." Roaring, he charged. Seeing the lion running towards them, Snowball muttered, "Oh cheese and carrots..."

"RUN!" Daisy howled. Everyone scattered into opposite directions. Mel and Buddy were about to leave the Big Top but came running back when the two remaining wolves, including the lead wolf, appeared. Duke and Rooster successfully moved an unconscious Tina out of the way. Hopping over to them, Snowball cried, "What are we going to do?!" Just then, the trio heard Liam wail, "Help me!" Looking over, they realized that the small child was still being lowered towards the crocodile's jaws of death. Popping his head out from a box he had hid in, Ozone pointed out, "You guys should go save that kid."

"How long were you in there and why do you care about Liam so much?" Snowball questioned Ozone. Not answering either of them, the hairless cat ducked back into the box as he meowed, "Good luck!"

"Right, let's go save a child," Rooster declared. Seeing some stairs leading towards the walkway and crane lowering Liam, he rushed up them. Duke and Snowball were right on his tail. Meanwhile, the Big Top was filled with screaming and roaring animals. Struggling to hear the combination lock's clicks, Tiberius lost his temper and screeched, "QUIET!"

Everyone froze still, like they had become statues.

Leaning his head towards the combination lock with the noise now gone, Tiberius listened quietly as he turned the dial. Hu and Laohu watched the old red tailed hawk, their eyes filled with a mixture of fear and hope. After hearing three clicks, the hawk's efforts were rewarded when the combination lock popped off and fell. Bouncing off the lift, it plummeted down and hit one of the wolves on the head. Yelping, the black furred canine collapsed. Opening the cage for the two white tigers, Tiberius announced, "Okay, thank you! You can resume what you all were just doing!"

The screaming and running picked up again. No one noticed that the lead wolf had climbed up the steps to the catwalks, hot on Max's trail.
