How did you propose to Sarah? How long did it convince her to marry you?
Zander: Oh boy, this is my favorite story to tell! I proposed to Sarah on our second anniversary (sounds early I know, but I knew she was the one for me). I took her out for a nice dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant (where she proceeded to get spaghetti sauce on her shirt!) then took her out to the lake where we had our first date. There, we sat by the water and watched the stars for a while before she deemed it too cold to sit without a blanket. I took this as my chance, got up to get the blanket, and while her back was still turned I laid the blanket behind her and got down on one knee. At first she didn't even notice I was back until I cleared my throats and gained her attention. When she turned around her face lit up into the biggest grin and her eyes started watering. I grinned as well and stared into her eyes, taking one of her shaking hands in mine I said, "Sarah, I've known since the moment I laid eyes on you that you'd change my life. There is no other person that I want to spend the rest of my life with than you. Will you marry me?"
Then she fainted.
Sarah: I did not, you butt!!
Zander: Ah! Okay, okay! Stop hitting me, woman! Alright so maybe I exaggerated a bit, she said no, THEN fainted.
Sarah: You are insufferable! I said yes immediately and gave him a kiss.
And then HE almost fainted from all the excitement.
Zander: I thought we agreed we weren't going to tell anyone that part...?!

Zander: Honestly, I think the key moment it really struck me was when she stood up to my father. Yeah, there were other times too but it was that moment it really hit me that wow - I want to spend the rest of my life with this woman no matter what.

Keagen: It was honestly the biggest mistake of my life. I knew I had no chance with her at that point and was just doing anything I could to attract her attention, except in the end the only thing I attracted was Zander's fists. I still wish I could go back and try again...
Zander: You're an idiot, stay away from my girl.

Samantha: Because of the stunt we pulled, I got heavily suspended from school. Even though it didn't last that long, I didn't feel like seeing all of those awful people, so I just didn't go. And Thanks, I know.

Zander: Ah yes, my beloved father. Give or take a few months after graduation he tried to contact me again, but to no avail seeing as I moved out of there ASAP and got a place of my own, then drank himself dumb and ended up in prison for one too many DUI's and public intoxication! I haven't seen him since I had to go in and personally tell the sheriff that no, I don't want to pay for his bail. Yay, a happy ending for me!

Zander: That is a great question! When I first met her she just reminded me of something super sweet - cupcake sweet - and from then it just stuck. Honestly, I used to hate cupcakes because I always thought they were too sweet, but now I actually love them a lot.

Zander: I'll answer this one, considering my lovely wife is beside herself laughing so hard she's crying, because of this question. Although I won and we're going to have a little boy, I'd love to have a little girl and possibly even another boy ❤️

@EmmieWinry To Sarah, Is there a story behind your locket?
Sarah: Kind of, yeah! You see, when I was a little girl I would always hang out at my grandmothers house, we were super close. But then she passed away after my 11th birthday and as her parting gift she gave me her locket, something to always remember her by. Whenever I'm stressed, upset, etc. I grip the locket and it's like she's there with me, holding me tight and whispering sweet words of encouragement to pick me back up again. I love and miss her dearly.

@EmmieWinry To Zander, Do you know why you heard voices in your head?
Zander: I've never went to the doctors for it or anything, because I figured I'd just be prescribed waaaay too many pills, but I think I have/had (I haven't heard them ever since I married Sarah, but I do still sometimes see my mother) some kind of mental problem? I honestly don't even know...maybe I should go to the doctors for this?
Sarah: I've been telling you to for months now, fruit loop.
Zander: Shhhhhhh, I hear dead people.
Sarah: Oh my gosh, why did I even marry you!

@EmmieWinry To Author, You mentioned in the book that Stan would be moving to Wisconsin, and in your new book you have the place being Wisconsin. Any relation there?

Keagen: Every now and then, but I try not to. I regret what happened, and I'm glad she's happy.

Samantha: I'm not one to bare my feelings here, but, a while back I had a major crush on this guy and I thought for sure he liked me too. At the time I was just that nerdy kid with braces and no self-confidence, so to think that he liked me too was a big thing for me. Finally, my friends convinced me to ask him to the home coming dance, but when I did he had told me he never liked me, and that he was planning on asking her. It destroyed me. I vowed I'd never let another girl get in my way again, I wouldn't let my confidence sink again. Love me or hate me, I don't really care, I don't let people's opinions of me affect my life anymore.

Me: I'm so happy you asked! It's not a magnificent, knock you off your feet, kinda story though. I was quite literally simply washing dishes when I thought of the title. Then soon after I decided to pursue the idea, the rest of the plot and characters just came to me! What made me really decide to go for it was the fact that I love reading so much I wanted to try to create my own ending for once! And here we are! ❤️

@heathergoodman21 To Keagen, who did you call after Sarah said she just wanted to be friends? Were you conspiring with Samantha? And why did you hate Zander so much?
Keagen: I did call Samantha. A few weeks after I started school with them, Samantha approached me with a proposal. End game was: I get the girl, she gets the guy. It was simple, but ended so badly. That's why I never liked Zander. He got the girl of my dreams. Who wouldn't hate him?

@xohsofadedx To Sarah, when Zander blackmailed you with the kitten underwear set, why didn't you report him to the principal? 😂
Sarah: It's not exactly something I wanted to tell my principal...Besides, I feel like they wouldn't have been able to do much, ya know? It was outside of school, so kind of outside of their control. I could have told my parents, too, but I don't think they would have had the reaction I would expect....
Zander: Her Dad told me he was proud of my flirting skills!
Sarah: See what I mean? Ugh.

Sarah: We held our wedding in our little town church, where my parents also got married!
Zander: It was a spring wedding, so all the apple and cherry blossoms from the orchard nearby were blowing in the air. It was one of the best days of my life.

Zander: I went out to my spot in the woods, where I usually went to clear my head.

@Mouly_068 To Zander, where did you go during the time Sarah net Keagan? Like, you said you were out when Sarah asked you just changed the topic. And where did you get all those bruises?? 'Cause of your dad's beating or something along those lines??
Zander: Around that time my Dad was really spiraling out of control, more than usual. He had gotten into a bar fight, and really upset a lot of the wrong people. I had to deal with it, otherwise we would have likely been robbed if not worse. Bruises were part of that, and also because he was pissed I intervened. Lovely times, they were...for sure.

@snowprincess_23 To Author, What actually happened with Keagen and Samantha? In detail?
Author: So Samantha and Keagen were...very lightly connected. They known each other prior to Keagen's joining of the school, and only got in contact with one another because Samantha had a plan to break Sarah and Zander apart. Keagen, still love struck by Sarah and scorned by their failed date, agreed to the plan because he still wanted to try to have a chance with Sarah. Things worked the way they did and...yeah. That's that. 😂

@snowprincess_23 To Author, is there going to be a book of their life after graduation?
Author: As of right now, I'm not sure. I have the idea slightly mapped out, and likely could start writing it if I wanted to, but I have other projects that I'm focusing on (ahem, like another new book...) at the moment. Maybe in the future I'll be able to write it next!

@snowprincess_23 To Sarah, why did you go on a date with Keagen when you had a deal with Zander?
Sarah: Keagen has actually asked me out, whereas Zander had blackmailed me. Despite the chemistry Zander and I had, and at the time we're still trying to figure out, along with the "deal" we had - I wasn't dating him.

@snowprincess_23 To Zander, why didn't you interrupt Sarah's date with Keagen?
Zander: I didn't know it was happening until it was too late. Besides, I wanted Sarah to be happy - Even if that meant being with him. Yes, it sounds crazy, but I wanted to at least let her have that chance to see her options. I wasn't about to act possessive over her when she technically wasn't mine to begin with, nor is she an object. I was upset, and ready to do everything I could to keep her attention on me, but I wasn't about to forcefully push my way in and ruin things for her.

Sarah: It was my idea!
