I saw Ryan about to be eaten by zombies! I had to do something. I don’t know what happened, but something in me snapped. I let out a screech of rage. I couldn’t control myself as I ran and fought the zombies.

When I snapped back, all of the zombies were dead. I looked around, everyone was looking at me with surprise and horror. There was no noise but the crickets going off.

Then, I got a gun aimed at me. I started crying, “Please don’t..”

Ryan gets in front of me, protecting me. “She saved me, that’s all she did. Now put the gun down,” He says.

They slowly put the gun down. “She’s dangerous!” They say.

“Did she attack any humans?” Ryan asks.

More cricket noises.

“Exactly. Put it away, Missy” Ryan says.

Missy put the gun away, grumbling. I couldn’t see any of her features but brown eyes.

“Let’s go home,” Myriad says.

We arrived at home an hour later. “I got something for you,” Ryan says, “Close your eyes and hold out your hands.”

I did as told as I felt a soft fabric in my hands. “Open,” Ryan says.

I open my eyes and unfold the clothing, “What’s this?” I ask.

“This is a dress, usually girls wear it to special events or just for fun,” Ryan smiles.

I look at it. It was red, off the shoulder, knee length and had spaghetti straps. It was a simple design.

“Let me see it on you!” Ryan says. I nod and go and change. I come back downstairs.

“You look good!” Myriad says, then goes back on watch.

“Yeah, you look awesome,” Ryan smiles.

I smile, “Thank you!”
Then I get changed back into proper clothes in my room.

I hear the walkie-talkie go off when I come back down, “Code red! I repeat code red! Over,”

Myriad told me to pack my things as Ryan answered. I pack everything as I heard zombies trying to break in. I ran downstairs with my things, I heard Ryan begging.
