Sheen made good use of boot rockets. She used them to fly. She used them to kick people, metal boots are really good for that. She used them to hold her up while she blew things up. Captain's orders... Actually, usually her orders.

   "What's the view down below?" Sheen asked, doing a backflip and diving toward the ground, where her team fought. She sent a blast of purple light into the middle of a line of Hydra.

   "Come see for yourself why doncha?" Clint said. "By the way, you might want to move."

   Sheen twisted as a black arrow shot over her head. "Come on Hawkeye! There wasn't even anything there to shoot at."

   "Evil birds. You never know."

   A Hydra man flew passed Sheen's blue tinted silver suit. "Careful Thor!"

   "My apologies Lady Stark. I did not mean to send him so high," Thor said.

   Sheen caught the man and dove down, weaving through the forest. She dropped him unceremoniously on the ground without slowing down.

   She looked up toward the fortress-like city. A red dot was flying toward it. Tony. Sheen shut off all her boosters for just long enough to point them all at the ground. She shot into the sky at top speed and spiraled in the direction of the city.

   A corner of the giant building in the center lit up blue as Tony crashed into it. "Sh-"

   "Language!" Sheen and Steve said at the same time.

   Sheen smiled slightly and started circling the building. "Looks like a kind of force field preventing anyone from going in from up top."

   "Perhaps you must enter using streets then?" Thor suggested. "If you could get under the shield-"

   "Then you should be able to disable it," Steve finished. "Or would that be near impossible?"

   "Hmm..." Sheen hovered at the edge of the shield. "Near impossible... yes you could say that. I'm going for it anyway. Tony?"

   "Is nobody else going to do anything about the fact that Sheen and Cap just said language?" Tony complained. He stopped next to Sheen, waiting for her lead.

   "I know," Steve said. A loud boom sounded from somewhere in the forest below. "It just kind of slipped out."

   Sheen and Tony dove side by side through a metal archway. They wove through the streets quickly and precisely, avoiding all of the people.

   "They are lining up," Thor said.

   Steve's breathing was heavy enough to hear through the earpiece. "Yeah, they're excited."

   There was a distant rumble, letting Tony and Sheen know that Thor had hit Steve's shield.

   "Make sure you get the scepter," Thor said.

    "And for goodness sake watch your language!" Tony said.

   Steve sighed. "That's not going away any time soon."

   A group of Hydra soldiers lined up and started shooting at Sheen and Tony. 

   "Darn them," Sheen muttered, swerving out of their sight. "Jarvis, could you disable the shield by any chance?"

   "Send in the Iron Legion while you're at it too," Tony added, following her.

   "Right away," Jarvis responded. "If you could shoot the barrier please."

   Four bolts of pure energy, two from each of the metal suits, shot forward and exploded against the shield. A blue light spread out from where they hit as the shield dissolved.

   "Thank you Jarvis," Sheen said as she and Tony flew into the building through a window.

   "You're welcome Ma'am."

   There were dozens of bangs as every Hydra member in the room drew a pistol and started firing at the siblings.

   "Now, now," Tony said. "Let's be reasonable and talk about this."

   Sheen rolled her eyes, but Tony wouldn't know that with the helmet covering her face.

   Tony sighed and a mini-gun came out of his suit's shoulder. It swung back and forth, crippling everyone in the room. "Nice talk."

   "No it wasn't," one of the men groaned.

   Sheen and Tony both landed and raised their right hand. "Sentry mode," they said in unison.

   The front of both suits unfolded and the pair stepped out, the suits resealing behind them.

   Sheen fixed her earpiece. She walked over to a computer and sat down in the now empty chair. "Jarvis, copy all the files over to Charm," she ordered. She opened a few files to make sure they were the ones that were wanted before she got up to where Tony was looking up at a wall.

   "Please be a secret door," he murmured. "Please be a secret door."

   He placed his hands flat on the wall and gave it a little push. There was a hiss and it opened with a grinding sound.

   "Sweet," Sheen said with a grin.

   "Secret doors are great," Tony agreed. "They hide stuff." He stepped through the new opening in the wall with Sheen right behind him. "Like evil scepters that belong to gods."

   They entered a huge room filled with machinery that would have taken them weeks to figure out. The body of one of Loki's giant alien snakes lay on the hard floor. In the center of it all, like a power source, sat Loki's scepter. The blue stone in the center glowed dimly. It was completely unprotected.

   "No way it's this easy," Sheen said.

   She and Tony stopped five feet from the scepter.

   Sheen's mind fuzzed and she blinked, shaking her head. Suddenly, the room and Tony were gone. The snake was no longer on the ground. It slithered through the air. A portal let more of them through. In a pile of rubble lay her team. All of them dead or dying.

   She ran forward, kneeling next to Steve. "Captain," she whispered.

   Tony's body lay next to Steve. His metal suit was destroyed. The power source cracked and his helmet crumpled like an aluminum can.

   Steve's breathing was shallow. His shield lay next to him, ripped in half. The paint blackened and chipped. Whatever had torn his shield was stronger than anything on Earth.

   Steve gasped and grabbed her wrist. "You... help us," he choked out. "Best second in command... I ever had..." His hand fell away and his eyes closed.

   "No..." Sheen's eyes filled with tears. I failed them. He trusted me and I failed...
