✿ Chapter 27 : Only Love ✿

The night sky stretched endlessly, dark clouds heavy with promise. The rhythmic pitter patter of raindrops against the windowpane filled the apartment, a soothing melody that drowned the noise of the world outside. The cool breeze carried the scent of fresh earth into the dimly lit living room.

Shehnaaz stood at the balcony, wrapped in the warmth of his oversized t-shirt, a cup of coffee nestled between her fingers. Her eyes followed the raindrops cascading down the railing, a wistful smile playing on her lips.

Sidharth, fresh out of the shower, leaned against the doorframe, his arms crossed as he silently watched her. Dressed in just sweatpants, his damp hair clung to his forehead, droplets of water sliding down his toned chest. He had seen her like this before lost in thought, completely mesmerized by the rain. But tonight, there was something different.

Something about the way the rain illuminated her soft features, how her slightly damp hair framed her face, made his heart clench.

He took slow steps toward her, his presence making her aware of him even before he spoke.

"Kya soch rahi ho?" he asked, his voice husky.

She smiled, tilting her head back slightly to look at him. "Bas yeh soch rahi thi ki baarish kitni ajeeb hoti hai na kisi ko udaas karti hai, kisi ko sukoon deti hai aur kisi ko apne kareeb le aati hai."

Sidharth smirked, closing the distance between them. His arms wrapped around her waist from behind, his bare skin warm against her back.

"Aur mujhe lagta hai yeh baarish mujhe tumhare aur bhi kareeb laa rahi hai," he murmured near her ear.

A shiver ran down her spine not because of the cold but because of him.

She turned in his arms, her fingers resting lightly on his chest. "Aap kabhi sudhroge nahi na, Sidharth."

He chuckled. "Aur tum kabhi bhaagna bandh nahi karogi."

Before she could respond, he suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the rain.

She gasped. "Sidharth! Main bheeg jaungi!"

But he was already laughing, spinning her around like a child, completely drenched. His carefree joy was infectious. Shehnaaz gave in, letting go of her hesitation. She tilted her head back, arms spread, and let the rain soak her completely.

Sidharth froze for a moment, watching her.

Her wet clothes clung to her curves, her eyes sparkled under the rain, her lips slightly parted as she enjoyed the rain. She had never looked more beautiful.

"Kitni khoobsurat ho tum." he whispered, stepping closer.

She blushed under his intense gaze. "Sidharth, andar chaliye."

But he had no intention of letting go of this moment. Trapping her between his body and the railing, he smirked. "Mujhe lagta hai mujhe baarish se aur zyda pyaar ho gaya hai."

She smiled, looking into his eyes. "Kiu aapko pasand nahi thi?."

His fingers gently traced the side of her face, brushing away the wet strands of hair. "Pasand to thi lekin ab mohabbat ho gai hai baarish se."

Her breath hitched as his thumb brushed her lower lip. The air between them thickened, her heart hammering inside her chest.

"Sidharth." She whispered.

"Hmm." He hummed leaning closed to hr and then, his lips met hers.

She closed her eyes, anticipation pooling in her stomach as their lips meet soft at first, exploring, testing but then urgent, desperate, filled with all the emotions they had held back for too long. The rain poured around them, but they only melted further into each other.

Her fingers tangled in his wet hair, pulling him closer, and he deepened the kiss, making her toes curl. The world faded, leaving just the two of them under the endless sky.

When they finally pulled away, breathless, their foreheads touched.

"Tum meri ho, Shehnaaz, sirf aur sirf meri" he murmured against her lips.

Shehnaaz smiled, tracing his jawline. "Aur aap bhi sirf mere."

The apartment was dark except for the soft golden glow of the bedside lamp. The rain continued outside, filling the silence between them with its rhythmic whispers.

Shehnaaz stepped into the room, still slightly shivering. She turned to grab a towel, but before she could, Sidharth grabbed her wrist.

"Kahan ja rahi ho?" his voice was low, teasing.

She swallowed. "Main kapde badalne ja rahi thi."

Sidharth smirked and sang. "Abhi na jaao chhord kar ye dil abhi bhara nahi." He pulled her towards himself.

Shehnaaz heart skipped a beat. His fingers trailed down her arm, igniting a fire inside her. Slowly, he lifted her chin, making her meet his gaze.

"Aaj mujhe tumse door mat jaane dena."

She inhaled sharply. The intensity in his eyes, the raw desire, made her knees weak. But more than anything, the love in his eyes made her surrender.

"Main kaha ja rahi hoon, Sidharth?" she whispered.

His control snapped.

In one swift motion, he picked her up, making her gasp. Her arms instinctively wrapped around his neck as he carried her to the bed. He laid her down gently, hovering over her, his lips pressing slow, teasing kisses down her neck.

Her hands roamed over his bare skin, feeling his muscles tense under her touch. His lips found hers again, this time with more hunger, more need.

Her fingers trembled as she touched his back, her breaths coming in short gasps. He leaned down, his lips ghosting over her collarbone, making her arch into him.

"Sidharth," she whimpered.

He looked at her with dark, hooded eyes. "Haan? I....I'm sorry." He was about to pulled himself.

She pulled him down, capturing his lips again. And this time, there was no hesitation, no holding back.

The rain continued to pour outside, but inside, warmth bloomed between them. That night, they weren't just lovers they were soulmates, bound by something deeper than words.

They had found their forever in each other.

The golden morning sun filtered through the sheer curtains, casting a warm glow over the tangled sheets. The rhythmic sound of raindrops lightly tapping against the window blended with the slow, steady breaths of two lovers wrapped in the afterglow of the most passionate night of their lives.

Shehnaaz stirred slightly, feeling the warmth of Sidharth's body beneath her cheek. Her fingers absentmindedly traced patterns over his chest, feeling the strong heartbeat beneath her touch. Every inch of her was still tingling with the remnants of last night's intimacy his kisses, his whispered confessions, the way he had held her like she was the most precious thing in his life.

She didn't want to move.

She didn't want this moment to end.

Sidharth, who had been awake for a while, watching her peaceful face, tightened his arms around her bare waist. He nuzzled into her hair, inhaling the soft lavender scent that had become so uniquely hers.

"Utho mat," he murmured against her temple, his voice still husky from sleep.

Shehnaaz smiled, shifting slightly so she could look up at him. "Main jaa kaha rahi hoon?" she whispered, her fingers moving up to cup his jaw, feeling the slight stubble against her skin.

Sidharth caught her hand, bringing it to his lips, pressing a lingering kiss to her palm. "Good. Kyunki ab main tumhe kahi jaane nahi dunga."

Shehnaaz's cheeks warmed as she buried her face against his chest. "Tum kitne cheesy hote ja rahe ho, Sidharth."

Sidharth chuckled, running his fingers through her messy locks. "Main tumhare liye kuch bhi ho sakta hoon."

For a long moment, they just lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, listening to the soft pitter-patter of rain outside. The room smelled of them of love, of passion, of new beginnings.

"Thank you Sidharth." Shehnaaz whispered with tears in her eyes.

"Thank you?". He frowned and asked.

"Hmm for accepting me, jaha mere khudh ke maa baap ne mujhe accept nahi kara waha aapne mera haath thama. Mera past-" before she could complete Sidharth stop her.

"Shhh bass bhul jaao apne past ko, bass yaad rakhna hai to wo hai hamara pyaar, hamara present, aur agar kuch socho to wo hai hamara future."

Then, Sidharth whispered, "Tum theek ho na?" There was a hint of concern in his voice. "Maine..." he hesitated, his thumb tracing over her bare shoulder, "...kahi dard toh nahi diya?"

Shehnaaz's heart melted at his care. She propped herself up on her elbow, looking deep into his eyes. "Aapke mujhe sirf pyaar diya hai, Sidharth."

Sidharth exhaled, cupping her cheek, brushing his thumb over her lower lip. "Mujhe kabhi pata nahi tha ki ek din main tumse itna pyaar karunga ki tumhari har khushi, har takleef meri apni lagegi."

Shehnaaz leaned into his touch, pressing a soft kiss to his palm. "Aur mujhe kabhi nahi laga tha ki main kisi par itna bharosa kar paungi."

Sidharth smiled, his gaze darkening slightly as he pulled her closer. "Agar bharosa ho gaya hai, toh ek aur baar confirm karna padega."

Before she could respond, he rolled her over, pinning her beneath him, his lips finding hers in a slow, lingering kiss.

A while later, wrapped in Sidharth's oversized shirt, Shehnaaz padded into the kitchen, watching with amusement as Sidharth struggled with breakfast.

He stood shirtless in front of the stove, his brows furrowed in deep concentration as he flipped pancakes badly. Flour dusted his cheek, and there was a clear sign that he had already broken a few eggs on the counter.

Shehnaaz crossed her arms, biting back a smile. "Aapko breakfast banana aata hai?"

Sidharth glanced at her with a smirk. "Aata nahi, ab aa raha hai. Tumhare liye special bana raha hoon."

Shehnaaz walked over, standing beside him. "Aur special breakfast me jaley hue pancakes honge?"

Sidharth feigned a gasp, placing a hand over his heart. "Tum meri bezzati kar rahi ho, Shehnaaz."

Shehnaaz giggled. "Main toh sirf sach bol rahi hoon."

Sidharth shook his head, then suddenly smirked. Before Shehnaaz could react, he dipped his fingers in the flour and smeared it across her nose.

Shehnaaz gasped. "Sidharth!"

Sidharth laughed, stepping back. "Ab tum bhi cute snowman lag rahi ho."

Shehnaaz narrowed her eyes before grabbing a handful of flour and throwing it at him. Within seconds, the kitchen turned into a flour fight battlefield.

Between laughter, stolen glances, and playful touches, they somehow managed to make an edible breakfast.

After breakfast, Shehnaaz sat on the couch, sipping her coffee, when Sidharth suddenly disappeared into the bedroom. A few minutes later, he returned with something in his hands.

Shehnaaz frowned. "Kya hai?"

Sidharth sat beside her, opening the box to reveal a delicate silver bracelet. "Main tumhare liye ek chhota sa gift laaya tha."

Shehnaaz's eyes softened. "Sidharth abhi kal hi to aapne mujhe pendant diya tha ab ye bracelet? Kya zarurat thi iski?"

Sidharth took her hand, slipping the bracelet onto her wrist. "Mere liye zaroori tha. Actually tumse related har cheez mere liye zaruri hai Shehnaaz. Main wo sab tumhare liye karna chahata hu jiske liye main capable hu. I wanted to give you everything."

Shehnaaz traced the bracelet, touched by the gesture. She leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "Mujhe bohot pasand aaya."

Sidharth turned his face slightly, their lips barely an inch apart. "Achha? Toh thank you nahi bologi?"

Shehnaaz smirked. "Thank you, bola to abhi pasand aaya." She point towards his cheek.

Sidharth gaze darkened. "Galat jagah bola."

Before she could understand, he tilted her chin up and captured her lips in a sweet, slow kiss, sealing the perfect morning with yet another moment of love.

As they lay on the couch, tangled together, watching the rain outside, Shehnaaz sighed contentedly.

"Sidharth?"

"Hmm?"

"Kal shopping chalenge."

Sidharth kissed her temple. "Kis baat liye?"

Shehnaaz snuggled closer. "Are bhul gaye kal Anvi ki first birthday party hai."

Sidharth smiled, tightening his arms around her. "Main bhul sakta hu kya apni princess ka birthday."

Shehnaaz looked up. "Aapko yaad tha to bola kiu nahi."

Sidharth pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. "Arey bass filhal tumhare saath time spend karna tha."

Shehnaaz's heart swelled. "Aap bhi na, by the way bhaiya is so excited unhone to office se bhi sabko bulaya hai Anvi ke birthday par and bhabhi was like ki abhi to ek saal ki hi ho rahi hai aur itna sab kar rahe hai bhaiya jab badi hogi to kitna kuch karenge." She chuckled remembering his brother excitement for his daughter.

"Hmm beti to hoti hai aesi hai, hamara beti ke liye bhi main sab karunga." He said with closed eyes having many dreams for their future.

And in that moment, wrapped in each other's love, they knew this was their forever.
