PROLOGUE

Sirens wailed in three-part harmony as the two Sorceresses floated about the underground SHIELD compound. They were almost twins, the eldest let her blonde hair whipped back and forth across her grinning face, her eyes sparkled, glinting with vicious glee. Her emerald dress slapped against her thigh and her gloved hands were outstretched in concentration. The second was almost identical with the exception of her strawberry-blonde hair colouring and her identical outfit blue. As the green one hovered, the blue one darted through the advancing agents, with a simple tap male agents would drop unconscious, some rose up back again and began slashing back at the shocked SHIELD agents.

"How much time do we have?" Phil Coulson shouted to an amateur female agent, his assistant, particularly useful in the fight against the two Sorceresses whose powers seemed to stem from the seduction of men. Coulson had fought one of these women before, but that was with the help of the Asgardian warrior, Sif. As much as the Asgardians were a pain, he reverently wished for the aid of Sif.

"They've almost got her back," The Agent cried, tucking her hair behind her ear, it quickly fell back into her face again due to the wind caused by the Sorceress' magic. "The others are all finished and are being evacuated,"

Coulson gave a grim nod then turned his attention back to the shrilling laughter of the floating Sorceress. Some Asgardians are just insane. He thought to himself as an explosion sent rubble flying. The disgraced Asgardian sisters and sorceresses, Amora and Lorelei had teamed up to cause Phil some serious headaches. It didn't help that the newly resurrected batch were more difficult than normal but it had to be done. Supervillain crime was increasing and heroes were falling away from their morals or becoming defeated. The world needed fresh blood with experience. So Phil made the grim decision of resurrecting Project TAHITI, old superheroes were going to be given another chance. It was one of humanity's final cards and Director Phil Coulson had played it.
