Chapter 4: To Infinity And Beyond!
Karla's View
Sindo escorted me out of the library and I was back in the grand room, where the main entrance to the fortress was. "How am I going to get to Earth?", I asked Sindo. "Ah, you should know that! You own this place, not me! Or I've got a suggestion... Why don't you use that portal thingy that's inside the clock?". It finally clicked, the grand room had two floors. When I was sleeping under the great clock, I was on the second floor... So I would have to go down to the ground floor and enter the clock mechanics that way.
So down I went, with a farewell from Sindo. "Good out there kid! Remember, keep the use of those powers to a minimum. You don't wana scare those folks on Earth outta their pants!". I answered, "Thankyou Sindo! Get all the others and yourself to take good care of this place! I want to come back to peace and harmony and have the place spruced up for if I bring Taylor back... But then you've got to take care of yourself too, I want you in full health". Then as Sindo was waving with his walking frame going everywhere, I shut the door of the clock and headed for the portal.
The room had a magical feel to it with the portal just up ahead... I could see the gate and through that gold gate, was the blue skies of earth. I knew that once I walked through that gate, there was no going back until I had Taylor, that's if I knew how to get back, or I'd be trapped on Earth forever and would be separated from my teddy friends and all that I knew of the great clock. I guess the main purpose I was going to Earth was to get Taylor and work out this mystery of him and the great clock.
Into the portal I finally went. As I was in the midst of that portal, I was presented with an overall image of my fortress. Then after a few seconds, that image began to fade and it was instead replaced with an image of a city full or skyscrapers and cars beneath those skyscrapers... This was supposedly Melbourne, the capital city of the state Taylor lived in. Then there was some strange writing in the sky which read, "You can walk further now but be warned. The portal is no longer active after this. Someone special is needed to re-open the dimensional rift". I took my chances and began to walk further.
When I had walked far enough, I felt the ground do a massive shake and I was no longer in my dimension but instead was standing in an empty field, just like in that dream at the clock but the differences were that the grass was more green and there were more hills. Then the sky was blue, instead of sepia. "What I do? Where do I go now?", I thought to myself".
