You sit in the back seat of the car. You look down, staring at the bouquet of flowers. You couldn't believe it, the day was finally here. You were going to become Mrs Glen Power. And it was a feeling that just made you feel like the happiest girl in the world.
You and Glen had been going out for five years before he asked you to marry him. You think about how he took you on holiday to Disneyland and then he proposed to you in front of the castle just before the fireworks went off at night. It made you smile as you thought of how you kissed in front of all those people and they all cheered for you.

And now today was the day that dreams would become a reality.

Then the car stopped, you were outside the church. You took one look outside before taking a deep breath. You feel a hand rest on yours.

You look at your dad. He's smiling at you. "Are you okay sweetie?" He asks. You nod.

"Yeah pops. I'm just a little.. nervous" You reply. He takes your hand.
"Don't be scared my little princess. You're getting married to the man you love. I couldn't be any more happier for you" He says with a grin.
You smile before you see his eyes fill up with tears.

You rub his back. "Oh dad please don't cry. I don't want to be walking down the aisle and my mascara is all down my cheeks" you say. He laughs before looking at you. "Alright then" he nods. "We better get going".

He gets out and then helps you out the car. Your dress follows you as it slides out the car and onto the white carpet laid outside to mark the route for the aisle. The sun is shining and it makes your day seem a whole lot more happier.

The walk along the aisle is the longest walk you've ever done in your life. You see people looking at you and you hear the reoccurring gasps and people whispering: "She looks beautiful".

You feel your dad squeeze your hand it makes you feel a lot more relaxed. As the music continues to mark your walk, you see Glen at the altar. He's facing away from you but then he turns around. You try not to make a noise, you always thought he looked so sexy in a suit.

When he sees you, you see his eyes widen. His pupils enlarge and he gasps, smiling from ear to ear. You see tears in his eyes. When you see his face, you smile.
Then as you step up to the altar, you look at Glen. As you grin, he leans in and whispers: "You look absolutely beautiful".
