It is a warm summer night.
There is not a cloud in the night sky to be seen. Only the moon surrounded by millions of shimmering stars.
Your boyfriend Danny says he wants to take a walk in your garden with him.

Although the idea sounds a bit pointless to you at first, you agree anyway.
He smiles as you take his hand. "I like your outfit" he smiles. You blush before you smile. "Thank you" you reply with a giggle. It's a white short-cut dress. You had worn it before and Danny always seemed to like it.

He leads you into the garden before you both look at the stars.
You then hear movement.
You turn to look at Danny but he is not there.
Then you see him, he is down on one knee. There is a black box in his hand, a diamond ring tucked inside. It glitters in the moonlight.
"Y/N, I've loved you ever since I met you. And I want to love you even more, except you can't just be my girlfriend. Will you marry me?" Danny says with a smile.

You gasp, a hand covering your mouth. "Oh my God" you whisper.
Danny looks at you smiling before you begin to choke up.
You nod. "Yes" you whisper, tears running down your face. "Yes I will".

Danny laughs a little in surprise. His eyes widen.
He smiles before sliding the ring onto your finger.
When he gets back to his feet, you immediately lean in and kiss him.

His long arms wrap around you and you are held close to him. When you both hug afterwards, Danny sweeps you off your feet and spins you. As you laugh, he grins.

You look back to him. His arms continue to remain around you. You have your fingers in his hair. "My God, you said yes" Danny laughs. You giggle before you frown slightly.

"But Dan, why do you want to marry me?" You ask.
Danny looks at you.
"You've been by my side for 2 years. I want you next to me forever. I want to grow old with you. You're beautiful, you're the most amazing, intelligent, wonderful person I've ever known" Danny whispers. "And after everything you've done for and went through with me it's the least I can do" he adds.

You smile before you ask: "But are you sure marriage is what you really want?".
"I am" he immediately responds.
You hesitate slightly.
"And are you sure... I'm who you want?".
Danny looks down at your. He nods.
"Yes" he says. "I love you".

You smile before he adds: "I'll take care of you for the rest of my life. Will you let me do that?".
You grin before you nod: "Of course" you giggle.
Before you can get another sentence out, Danny begins to kiss you again.
