You sit on the bed, you face buried in your knees. Your head thumps, tears pour from your eyes and soak your leggings. You're sobbing uncontrollably. It was just something you'd never thought would happen. And it had been in your face for weeks until it got to breaking point where you couldn't take it anymore and you just left.

Rumours had been circling that Danny had been cheating. The candidate being his contestant on the Voice: Bo Bruce. But yet even though Danny kept on denying it, it just kept being shoved in your face. And everytime you were seen in the public, someone asked you how you 'felt' about Danny cheating on you.

You just left.
You remembered it perfect.
You left a note saying you'd be staying with your friend Alana until you found somewhere else to stay.

But ever since you left, it had been nothing but floods of salty tears. Just little drops of heartbreak.

You're just sitting on the bed before your friend and now current roommate Alana enters.
"Feeling any better?" she asks.
"What do you think?" You snap back.

She sits down and looks at you sympathetically.
"I don't know how I'm going to cope" you say. "Danny was the love of my life. You don't know how big a part of my life I've had to abandon to try and be 'happy'" You once again start to sob.

Alana pats your knee. "Tea?" she asks. You nod.

She closes the door leaving you alone. As you continue to shed tears you hear a knock at the front door. You sit back and you pick up your phone. There is no messages or missed calls. You look through all the photos. As you do this you become oblivious to the person Alana is talking to at the door.

When you put your phone down, you sniff, cry a few more tears before your bedroom door swings open.

Alana is standing in the doorframe. She is holding a large brown envelope.
"There's a letter here for you" she says.

You stare at her blankly, expressionless. She chucks it on your bed and you look at it.
"Are you going to read it?".

She closes the door just as you pick it up. You tear open the seal.
