You decide to surprise Danny backstage. Only the night before he was crying on the phone to you as he was missing you too much. You decided to arrange with Mark and Glen to surprise him backstage after their show.

And here was the day. You stood outside in the corridor as Mark and Glen tried to cheer Danny up a bit before letting you in.

However nothing is working. You then hear Glen say: "Hey, I know what will cheer you up". At which point, him and Mark back out of Danny's dressing room and let you enter. As you enter you see Danny sitting with his head down on the dressing table in front of the mirror.

Sadly he looks up and then he sees you in the mirror. You're smiling and you have tears in your eyes. He gasps before standing up, his chair nearly falling over. He gasps once again.

"Oh my God" he whispers through tears. You grin even more, letting a small tear trickle down your cheek. You've missed him just as much but you try to hide it so he doesn't feel worried about whether you're upset when he's away. But now, all your sadness and the feeling of the love of your life not being beside you, disappears.

"Oh my God. Oh baby girl" Danny sobs as he dashes over to you.

Automatically, he places a quick kiss on your lips before you both tightly embrace. Several more 'Oh my God's slip out his mouth. Your heart aches. You've missed his hugs and his kisses and his voice. And he has missed yours too.
You feel him rubbing your shoulder blade as you hear his strong Irish voice ask:

"How are you? You alright?"

You nod before you let out a reply. "Yes" you reply. However it's muffled by your tears of joy. Danny immediately ends the hugs.

"Hey. Hey. Hey" he whispers, his cheeks stained with tears. He used his sleeve and wipes away the thin lines of happiness on your face.

"Don't cry. Please don't cry" he begs you. You nod.
"It's just I missed you" You reply.

He smiles weakly and your heart aches once again. How much you missed that smile.
"Oh I missed you too sweetheart".

Then before you an utter out another word, he kisses you.
