SV 40 Virus

Now, if you want to believe in something bad about vaccinations this is it.

The SV 40 Virus is a polyomavirus that is known to cause cancer in both humans and monkeys. It turns out that from 1955 to 1963 90% of children and 60% of adults were infected with SV 40 virus contaminated polio vaccine. It also turns out that SV 40 virus is capable of MR, which is multiplicity reactivation. What this means in a nutshell is that two viruses that have been damaged in the vaccine manufacturing process (that's what they do to make a vaccine from a virus that's no longer infectious but will cause immunity) can combine to form a new genome that is virile.

The infectious agent in SV 40 virus is the SV 40 large T antigen. This hexamer protein is a oncoprotein that is capable of malignant transformation of many different cell types. In other words it can turn normal cells into cancerous ones.

Nor all infections result in a tumor. Some end up as a latent infection. However, SV 40 virus has been detected in several cancers, but the science involved here is controversial. Prostrate cancer was found in hamsters infected with SV 40 virus, for example. How that translates to humans is not known.

Another thing to keep in mind is that SV 40 virus was found in both the Sabin oral polio vaccine and the Salk injected vaccine. This contamination is believed to have caused by the use of infected rhesus monkey kidney cells to grow the poliovirus. No one is sure what percentage of these polio vaccines was contaminated or how many people developed cancer because of it. Part of the reason for this is the usual and expected denial by the vaccine manufacturers and the polio vaccine developers themselves. Decades later the government denied that SV 40 virus was harmful to humans. This does not surprise me. The legalities of this situation would be staggering.

However, the evidence was too good to ignore. It has been proven that SV 40 virus contaminated polio vaccine causes cancer in animals. I have been unable to find reliable data on how many of the 98 million children and adults that were given tainted polio vaccines developed cancers. The only thing I do know is that I must have been lucky because I was vaccinated with both polio vaccines in that time frame.
