Redemption Movement conspiracy

Redemption Movement conspiracy

This has to do with birth certificates issued in the United States after the gold standard was abandoned in 1933. Supposedly, each birth certificate issued after that time is in fact a stock certificate that pledges the citizen to which it's issued as collateral so that money could be borrowed from The newly created Federal Reserve System. Each birth certificate was created with a fictitious person ('straw man') that corresponded to each newborn citizen and possessed a bank account with 630,000 dollars in it. Allegedly, the citizen could write checks on this account after reclaiming the 'straw man'. Why wasn't I told about this?

This theory is based upon the utterances of Roger Elvick, a self appointed founder of the movement. His theory goes that the United States Government created a secret bank account with 630,000 dollars for every citizen born after the 1936 Social Security Act was passed. And, get this folks; a Jewish cabal supposedly administered the accounts. That sounds like a Nazi idea to me. Allegedly, the citizen could in fact do some fancy pater work with the Federal government and get access to this account that in theory was issued to their doppelganger.

This gets even crazier. Allegedly, we American citizens are not citizens but rather nationals and we could avoid taxes by changing their status from citizen to non-resident or alien. (I want to be one of those Orion or Sirius A aliens).

Evidently, several people who followed this idiot's suggestions ended up being arrested and convicted for fraud. Duh!

Most of the people who promoted this crackpot scheme are in fact members of whacky groups who are fascinated with the 'New World Order' conspiracy theorists. Among those convicted are Roger Elvik himself for tax evasion; Glen Unger (Sam Kennedy alias) was convicted for interfering with the Internal Revenue Service; Barton Buhtz was convicted of passing 3.8 million in false Treasury bonds.

I've heard of a lot of crazy ideas but this one takes the cake. Anyone who would go along with this deserves to be arrested. There is no way that you can avoid paying taxes, unless you go with aliens back to their planet. And, who knows, they might have taxes there too.

Thanks for reading.
