Bohemian Grove
Bohemian Grove
I'll bet that most of you have never heard of this one. Bohemian Grove is another one of those secret elitist societies that have been implicated as being associated with the Illuminati and for practicing satanic rituals.
The Bohemian Grove is an actual place, a 2,700-acre campground at 20601 Bohemian Avenue in Monte Rio, California. It belongs to a men's San Francisco art club that is called the Bohemian Club and it's famous, or infamous, for having a two-week, three weekend encampment of very prominent men from all over the world. The conspiracy lovers smell New World Order conspiracy here.
The membership consists of government officials, including U.S. presidents, military leaders, media executives, business leaders and other powerful people. Their motto is 'Weaving Spiders Come Not Here'. What the heck does that mean? I assume it means that these powerful people are not supposed to bring their troubles to the club.
Henry 'Harry' Edwards, a stage actor, founded this club in 1872 and six years after began the yearly encampment. San Francisco businessmen soon dominated the organization, and it adopted an Owl as a symbol of knowledge. In fact they created a big concrete owl. Is this for worship? Of course they practice rituals. Most of these secret societies do. Secret rituals are endemic to secrete societies.
The only conspiracy I can detect in this is the fact that there have been some very powerful men in this organization. However, apparently, the membership is known and much of the location has been revealed.
As with most secret societies, people have proposed that they are plotting to rule the world. Most of the politicians have been Republican. One notable U.S. president is George W. H. Bush. This is not the only secret society under suspicion. In fact, it's ranked 11th, and it's labeled as a social group, not a policy planning group like the Council on Foreign Relations and the American Assembly.
I would suggest that this club is nothing more than a rich guys' social club. They get together to drink, tell jokes and fool around. It's just a bunch of Good Old Boys trying to prove that they're entitled to special treatment. This seems to be a trend among rich white guys.
Thanks for reading.
