Pay Attention! (3)

Shuri and Peter had a blast in the alternate world. Apparently vine was never invented, so people looked at them wierdly when they threw around soda cans, complained about their lack of chicken nuggets, and pretending to be a wolf on all levels except physical.

PP still had no idea that Peter was also Spiderman, but he was bound to come chasing after this other Spiderman anytime now. He didn't mind. He was having a blast. Shuri went off to research or something boring, while Peter just swung around. It was wierd not seeing a tall building in New York that used to belong to the Avengers and before that just Tony Stark. Peter felt kind of lonely too, with no Iron Man flying around. But he didn't let that bring him down as he looked for Mr. Delmar's. He was shocked when he saw a tall building where the usual run down place was. It was at least three stories high. He swung into a small alley and switched back into his hoodie and jeans. He put his suit in the black backpack Shuri had lent him, and ran across the street and into the now booming sandwich shop.

It was decked out with tables and tvs. News, sports, comedy, you name it! Every show was playing. He walked around the bottom floor, and went up the stairs to find more of the same. The third floor, however, was a retro arcade. It had Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Street Fighters and so many more. Some kids were in there. Peter walked over to a Pacman game, and instantly got a new high score on the machine. He put his name in as FriendlyNeighboorhoodSpiderman, and went to order some sandwiches. He got his number 5, squished with pickles, and a number two no mayo for Shuri. He left and changed back into his Spiderman suit and swung into the air. He held the backpack in one hand as he swung around the town. He was about to land in a near by alley, when he was kicked and slammed into a building.

"Hello there sir," Peter spoke. "You must be Spiderman! I have heard a lot about. I am truly a fan." Peter began crawling up the side of the building. He was pulled down and thrown into an alley. He landed on his back, and his alternate self stepped on his chest. "Well your not very nice," Peter replied, the white eyes squinting at the other Spiderman looking above him.

"Who are you?"

"I am you," Peter replied in a ghostly voice, "from another world. I know everything about you."

"Who are you really."

Peter sighed. He was about to say something, when Karen alerted him of someone calling him

"Mr. Stark calling Peter, answering now."

"Great." Soon Peter saw an image of his mentor and hero infront of him.

"Where are you kid? Your location isn't coming up on my screen, and you definitely aren't in Wakanda. You have been gone for five hours and May will kill me of anything happens to you again."

"Funny story you see-"

"Where are you!" The man looked to be in one of his suits, and Peter could see the worried expression on his face.

"I am not sure."

"Who is are you talking too?" The other Spiderman was confused as to why this person was talking to no one. Maybe they were mentally I'll.

"Mr. Stark, can you give me a second I-" his words were cut off from wheezing as the foot that had rested idoly on his chest was put down.

"Are you alright kid? Kid!"

"One second Mr. Stark." He sighed as Karen put his hero on hold and looked to address himself. Thor this was wierd. "Ok buddy. Your name is Peter Parker. So is mine. You like with your aunt May in Queens, where you go to Midtown tech. Your shooters are mechanical, and you were bitten by a spider. Happy?" The foot lifted from his chest, most likely from shock. Peter took this as his chance to get up. He hopped onto a wall, before saying, "I have got to go. I am meeting someone, and I need to finish this call. We can chat later maybe. See you around!" He smiled cheerfully as he swung out of the ally, now back on the tall with Mr. Stark.

"Ok, where are you and what's happening."

"Well, I think I am in an alternate reality. Shuri is with me. We tried making a time machine, but we are just in a different world instead." The teen explained this as he swung into a secluded alley and changed his clothes. He took out his ear piece from the mask and left it in his ear.

"Wait, so that means that there is a me there? And a you?"

"Well, the Avengers don't exist and never did. There is only a Spiderman. That's who was talking to me. Weird, huh?"

"How does May deal with you kid? Just get back soon, ok? I want you back here by midnight, otherwise I am finding a way into that world and will personally escort you back here. How did you even make that machine?"

"It's a long story. I will tell you about when Shuri and I are back. I will see you soon."

The call ended. What was Tony going to do with that kid?

Shuri had found her way to the New York library, and began researching about this world. Apparently, Wakanda was never even founded. It didn't exist. The Avengers were never around either. Thanos was never a problem. None of the big, life changing events that happened in her world happened in this one. Instead, the local Spiderman fought villians like the Green Goblin, Rhino, and Lizard. Nothing about the vulture. No super advanced tech. This world was more primitive than America back home!

After looking at topics for roughly forty minutes, she headed out to her meeting spot with Peter. She walked along the busy streets, her avacado hoodie up and covering her face. She crossed the street, and walked to a small park that was located where Avenger's tower would have normally stood. She sat there and thought about everything she discovered. She was so deep in thought, however, that she never noticed the whiz of something fly by her head. She would regret that, but later. For now, she would just sleep.
